Land use type affects the physicochemical properties of *** value of OM and tN is high in acacia *** acidity of soil is considered a serious constraint for *** cash crops are acacia,cassava,banana,rice and *** fertility is affected by land-use types and land management,which exacerbates soil erosion and various other forms of soil degradation in the mountainous regions of *** study was conducted in A Luoi District,thua thien Hue,Vietnam to identify the effects of land-use types on specific soil physicochemical characteristics related to soil *** physicochemical properties,such as organic matter(OM),total nitrogen(tN),total phosphorous(tP),and K+were significantly affected by land-use *** results showed that the soils were sandy in rice but clay loam for acacia and *** mean bulk density value of acacia soil was significantly greater than that of other *** were higher in the acacia soils than those in the rice,maize,and banana *** OM content was significantly higher in the acacia,cassava,and banana soils than those in the rice and maize *** mean of exchangeable K+in the rice soil was higher compared to those in other soils and was affected by land-use *** high exchangeable acidity content in the soils was probably due to intensive ***,both land use type and management did not affect the CEC ***,the inappropriate land use caused the disturbance of soil physicochemical properties,indicating that the conditions of rice and maize soils are becoming worse than acacia ***,lowering the intensity of cultivation,adopting incorporated soil fertility management,and applying organic fertilizer should preserve the existing conditions and enhance soil properties.

Lightweight,Strong and High Heat-Resistant Poly(lactide acid)Foams via Microcellular Injection Molding with Self-Assembly Nucleating Agent

Poly(lactide acid)(PLA)foams have shown considerable promise as eco-friendly alternatives to nondegradable plastic foams,such as polystyrene(PS)***,PLA foam typically suffers from low heat-resistance and poor cellular structure stemming from its inherent slow crystallization rate and low melt *** this study,a high-performance PLA foam with well-defined cell morphology,exceptional strength and enhanced heat-resistance was successfully fabricated via a core-back microcellular injection molding(MIM)*** scanning calorimetry(DSC)results revealed that the added hydrazine-based nucleating agent(HNA)significantly increased the crystallization temperature and accelerated the crystallization process of ***,the addition of a 1.5 wt%of HNA led to a significant reduction in PLA’s cell size,from 43.5µm to 2.87µm,and a remarkable increase in cell density,from 1.08×10^(7)cells/cm^(3)to 2.15×10^(10)cells/cm^(3).this enhancement resulted in a final crystallinity of approximately 55.7%for the PLA blend foam,a marked improvement compared to the pure PLA ***,at 1.5 wt%HNA concentration,the tensile strength and tensile toughness of PLA blend foams demonstrated remarkable improvements of 136%and 463%,***,the Vicat softening temperature of PLA blend foam increased significantly to 134.8°C,whereas the pure PLA foam exhibited only about 59.7℃.these findings underscore the potential for the preparation of lightweight injection-molded PLA foam with enhanced toughness and heat-resistance,which offers a viable approach for the production of high-performance PLA foams suitable for large-scale applications.

In this work,dielectric ultracapacitors were designed and fabricated using a combination of phase boundary and nanograin *** ultracapacitors are based on submicron-thick Ba(Zr_(0.2)ti_(0.8))O_(3) ferroelectric films sputterdeposited on Si at 500℃.With a composition near a polymorphic phase boundary(PPB),a compressive strain,and a high nucleation rate due to the lowered deposition temperature,these films exhibit a columnar nanograined microstructure with gradient phases along the growth *** a microstructure presents three-dimensional polarization inhomogeneities on the nanoscale,thereby significantly delaying the saturation of the overall electric ***,a pseudolinear,ultraslim polarization(P)-electric field(E)hysteresis loop was obtained,featuring a high maximum applicable electric field(~5.7 MV/cm),low remnant polarization(~5.2μC/cm^(2))and high maximum polarization(~92.1μC/cm^(2)).this P-E loop corresponds to a high recyclable energy density(Wrec~208 J/cm^(3))and charge‒discharge efficiency(~88%).An indepth electron microscopy study revealed that the gradient ferroelectric phases consisted of tetragonal(t)and rhombohedral(R)polymorphs along the growth direction of the *** t-rich phase is abundant near the bottom of the film and gradually transforms into the R-rich phase near the *** films also exhibited a high Curie temperature of~460℃and stable capacitive energy storage up to 200℃.these results suggest a feasible pathway for the design and fabrication of high-performance dielectric film capacitors.

BACKGROUND Smartwatches have become readily accessible tools for detecting atrial fibrillation(AF).there remains limited data on how they affect psychosocial outcomes and engagement in older *** examine the health behavior outcomes of stroke survivors prescribed smartwatches for AF detection stratified by *** We analyzed data from the Pulsewatch study,a randomized controlled trial that enrolled patients(≥50 years)with a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack and CHA2DS2-VASc≥*** participants were equipped with a cardiac patch monitor and a smartwatch-app dyad,while control participants wore the cardiac patch monitor for up to 44 *** evaluated health behavior parameters using standardized tools,including the Consumer Health Activation Index,the Generalized Anxiety Disorder questionnaire,the 12-Item Short Form Health Survey,and wear time of participants categorized into three age groups:Group 1(ages 50-60),Group 2(ages 61-69),and Group 3(ages 70-87).We performed statistical analysis using a mixedeffects repeated measures linear regression model to examine differences amongst age *** Comparative analysis between Groups 1,2 and 3 revealed no significant differences in anxiety,patient activation,perception of physical health and wear *** use of smartwatch technology was associated with a decrease in perception of mental health for Group 2 compared to Group 1(β=-3.29,P=0.046).CONCLUSION Stroke survivors demonstrated a willingness to use smartwatches for AF ***,among these study participants,the majority did not experience negative health behavior outcomes or decreased engagement as age increased.

RDH12-associated retinal degeneration caused by a homozygous pathogenic variant of 146C>t and literature review

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)based on sulfide electrolytes promise next-generation energy storage with high energy density and ***,the sulfide electrolytes suffer from phase instability and sluggish interfacial charge transport when pairing with layered oxide cathodes at high ***,a simple and efficient strategy is proposed using two-dimensional ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x)MXene as starting material to in-situ construct a 15 nm Li_(2)tiO_(3) layer on a typical oxide cathode,LiCoO_(2).the in-situ transformation of ti_(3)C_(2)t_(x)into Li_(2)tiO_(3) layer occurs at a low temperature of 500℃,avoiding the phase deterioration of LiCoO_(2).the thin Li_(2)tiO_(3) layer is Li^(+)conducting and electrochemically stable,thereby preventing the interfacial decomposition of sulfide electrolytes induced by LiCoO_(2) at high voltages and facilitating Li+transport at the ***,Li_(2)tiO_(3) can stabilize the layer structure of LiCoO_(2) at high ***,the sulfide-based ASSLB using LiCoO_(2)@Li_(2)tiO_(3) cathode can operate stably at a high voltage of up to 4.5 V(***+/Li),delivering an outstanding initial specific discharge capacity of 138.8 m Ah/g with a high capacity retention of 86.2% after 100 cycles at 0.2 *** in-situ transformation strategy may also apply to other MXenes,offering a general approach for constructing other advanced lithiated coatings for oxide cathodes.

Freeze‒thaw induced landslides(FtILs)in grasslands on the tibetan Plateau are a geological disaster leading to soil *** landslides reduce biodiversity and intensify landscape fragmentation,which in turn are strengthen by the persistent climate change and increased anthropogenic ***,conventional techniques for mapping FtILs on a regional scale are impractical due to their labor-intensive,costly,and time-consuming *** study focuses on improving FtILs detection by implementing image fusion-based Google Earth Engine(GEE)and a random forest *** of multiple data sources,including texture features,index features,spectral features,slope,and vertical‒vertical polarization data,allow automatic detection of the spatial distribution characteristics of FtILs in Zhidoi county,which is located within the Qinghai‒tibet Engineering Corridor(QtEC).We employed statistical techniques to elucidate the mechanisms influencing FtILs *** enhanced method identifies two schemes that achieve high accuracy using a smaller training sample(scheme A:94.1%;scheme D:94.5%)compared to other methods(scheme B:50.0%;scheme C:95.8%).this methodology is effective in generating accurate results using only~10%of the training sample size necessitated by other *** spatial distribution patterns of FtILs generated for 2021 are similar to those obtained using various other training sample sources,with a primary concentration observed along the central region traversed by the *** results highlight the slope as the most crucial feature in the fusion images,accounting for 93%of FtILs occurring on gentle slopes ranging from 0°to 14°.this study provides a theoretical framework and technological reference for the identification,monitoring,prevention and control of FtILs in *** developments hold the potential to benefit the management of grassland ecosystem,reduce economic losses,and promote grassland sustainability.

Anti-PD1 antibody and not anti-LAG-3 antibody improves the antitumor effect of photodynamic therapy for treating metastatic breast cancer

Photodynamic therapy(PDt)has limited effects in treating metastatic breast *** checkpoints can deplete the function of immune cells;however,the expression of immune checkpoints after PDt is *** study investigates whether the limited e±cacy of PDt is due to upregulated immune checkpoints and tries to combine the PDt and immune checkpoint inhibitor to observe the e±cacy.A metastatic breast cancer model was treated by PDt mediated by hematoporphyrin derivatives(HpD-PDt).the anti-tumor effect of HpD-PDt was observed,as well as CD4þt,CD8þt and calreticulin(CRt)by immunohistochemistry and *** checkpoints on t cells were analyzed byflow cytometry after *** combining PDt with immune checkpoint inhibitors,the antitumor effect and immune effect were *** HpD-PDt at 100 mW/cm2 and 40,60 and 80 J/cm2,primary tumors were suppressed and CD4þt,CD8þt and CRt were elevated;however,distant tumors couldn't be inhibited and survival could not be *** checkpoints on t cells,especially PD1 and LAG-3 after HpD-PDt,were upregulated,which may explain the reason for the limited HpD-PDt *** PDt combined with anti-PD1 antibody,but not with anti-LAG-3 antibody,both the primary and distant tumors were signi-cantly inhibited and the survival time was prolonged,additionally,CD4þt,CD8þt,IFN-þCD4þt and tNF-þCD4þt cells were signi-cantly increased compared with ***-PDt could not combat metastatic breast ***1 and LAG-3 were upregulated after ***-PD1 antibody,but not anti-LAG-3 antibody,could augment the antitumor effect of HpD-PDt for treating metastatic breast cancer.
