We report the design, fabrication, and characterization of a universal silicon PN junction ring resonator for C band error-free communication links operated up to 50 Gb/s with co-designed optical modulation and detection performance. the universal p-n junction ring device shows co-designed detection responsivity up to 0.84 A/W, in conjunction with a modulation efficiency of -4 V·mm and>8 d B optical modulation extinction ratio, enabling C band 50 Gb/s NRZ communication link with a bit error rate≤3×10^(-12).

the spread of tuberculosis(tB),especially multidrug-resistant tB and extensively drug-resistant tB,has strongly motivated the research and development of new anti-tB *** strategies to facilitate drug combinations,including pharmacokinetics-guided dose optimization and toxicology studies of first-and second-line anti-tB drugs have also been introduced and *** chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)has arguably become the gold standard in the analysis of both endo-and exo-genous *** technique has been applied successfully not only for therapeutic drug monitoring(tDM)but also for pharmacometabolomics *** improves the effectiveness of treatment,reduces adverse drug reactions,and the likelihood of drug resistance development in tB patients by determining dosage regimens that produce concentrations within the therapeutic target *** on tDM,the dose would be optimized individually to achieve favorable *** is essential in generating and validating hypotheses regarding the metabolism of anti-tB drugs,aiding in the discovery of potential biomarkers for tB diagnostics,treatment monitoring,and outcome *** article highlighted the current progresses in tDM of anti-tB drugs based on LC-MS bioassay in the last two ***,we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of this technique in practical *** pressing need for non-invasive sampling approaches and stability studies of anti-tB drugs was ***,we provided perspectives on the prospects of combining LC-MS-based tDM and pharmacometabolomics with other advanced strategies(pharmacometrics,drug and vaccine developments,machine learning/artificial intelligence,among others)to encapsulate in an all-inclusive approach to improve treatment outcomes of tB patients.

BACKGROUND:traumatic cardiac arrest(tCA)is a major contributor to mortality and morbidity in all age groups and poses a significant burden on the healthcare *** there have been advances in treatment modalities,survival rates for tCA patients remain *** narrative literature review critically examines the indications and eff ectiveness of current therapeutic approaches in treating ***:We performed a literature search in the PubMed and Scopus databases for studies published before December 31,*** search was refi ned by combining search terms,examining relevant study references,and restricting publications to the English *** the search,943 articles were retrieved,and two independent reviewers conducted a screening ***:A review of various studies on pre-and intra-arrest prognostic factors showed that survival rates were higher when patients had an initial shockable *** were conflicting results regarding other prognostic factors,such as witnessed arrest,bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),and the use of prehospital or in-hospital *** thoracotomy was found to result in more favorable outcomes in cases of penetrating trauma than in those with blunt *** endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta(REBOA)provides an advantage to emergency thoracotomy in terms of occupational safety for the operator as an alternative in managing hemorrhagic *** implemented in the setting of aortic occlusion,emergency thoracotomy and REBOA resulted in comparable mortality ***-venous extracorporeal life support(V-V ECLS)and veno-arterial extracorporeal life support(V-A ECLS)are viable options for treating respiratory failure and cardiogenic shock,*** the context of traumatic injuries,V-V ECLS has been associated with higher rates of survival to discharge than V-A ***:tCA remains a signifi cant challenge for emergency medical services due to its high m

With the advancement of artificial intelligence,traffic forecasting is gaining more and more interest in optimizing route planning and enhancing service *** volume is an influential parameter for planning and operating traffic *** study proposed an improved ensemble-based deep learning method to solve traffic volume prediction problems.A set of optimal hyperparameters is also applied for the suggested approach to improve the performance of the learning *** fusion of these methodologies aims to harness ensemble empirical mode decomposition’s capacity to discern complex traffic patterns and long short-term memory’s proficiency in learning temporal ***,a dataset for automatic vehicle identification is obtained and utilized in the preprocessing stage of the ensemble empirical mode decomposition *** second aspect involves predicting traffic volume using the long short-term memory ***,the study employs a trial-and-error approach to select a set of optimal hyperparameters,including the lookback window,the number of neurons in the hidden layers,and the gradient descent ***,the fusion of the obtained results leads to a final traffic volume *** experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms other benchmarks regarding various evaluation measures,including mean absolute error,root mean squared error,mean absolute percentage error,and *** achieved R-squared value reaches an impressive 98%,while the other evaluation indices surpass the *** findings highlight the accuracy of traffic pattern ***,this offers promising prospects for enhancing transportation management systems and urban infrastructure planning.

Radiative decays D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BESⅢ*** radiative couplings gD*Dγencoding nonperturbative QCD effects are calculated in the framework of the covariant confined quark model developed by *** compare our results with other theoretical studies and experimental *** couplings(in GeV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)calculated in our model agree with the corresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).the most interesting case is the decay Ds*→Dsγ,for which a recent prediction based on light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattice QCD result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our calculation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),which falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predicted in other studies using quark models or QCD sum rules.

New analyses of earlier ALMA observations of oxygen-rich AGB star EP Aquarii are presented,which complete a previously published analysis and offer a different interpretation of the morpho-kinematics of the circumstellar *** birth of the equatorial density enhancement(EDE)is shown to occur very close to the star where evidence for rotation has been *** to the star and where outflows have been observed:their interaction with the gas of the nascent EDE is seen to play an important role in the development of the wind and the evolution of its radial velocity from 8 to 10 km s^(-1) on the polar symmetry axis to~2 km s^(-1) at the *** implies complex morpho-kinematics:making reliable interpretations with reasonable confidence is *** particular,it questions an earlier interpretation implying the presence of a white dwarf companion orbiting the star at an angular distance of -0″4 from its *** proposes instead an interpretation in terms of a standard mass ejection associated with a shock wave leaving a void of emission in its *** Doppler velocity wings are seen to consist of two components,the upper velocity end of the global wind,reaching above±12 km s^(-1),and an effective line broadening,confined within 200 mas from the center of the star,reaching above±20 km s^(-1) and interpreted as caused by the pattern of shock waves resulting from the interaction between stellar pulsation and convective cell partition.

Identifying crack and predicting crack propagation are critical processes for the risk assessment of engineering *** traditional approaches to crack modeling are faced with issues of high computational costs and excessive computing *** address this issue,we explore the potential of deep learning(DL)to increase the efficiency of crack detection and forecasting crack ***,there is no single algorithm that can fit all data sets well or can apply in all cases since specific tasks *** the paper,we present DL models for identifying cracks,especially on concrete surface images,and for predicting crack ***,SegNet and U-Net networks are used to identify concrete *** gradient descent(SGD)and adaptive moment estimation(Adam)algorithms are applied to minimize loss function during ***,time series algorithms including gated recurrent unit(GRU)and long short-term memory(LStM)are used to predict crack *** experimental findings indicate that the U-Net is more robust and efficient than the SegNet for identifying crack segmentation and achieves the most outstanding *** evaluation of crack propagation,GRU and LStM are used as DL models and results show good agreement with the experimental data.

Objective:this study explores the interplay between job stress,job-related factors,work performance,and attitudes toward seeking professional psychological help among Vietnamese ***:A total of 374 employees in Vietnam were surveyed using random sampling and an online questionnaire from November 07 to November 28,*** data and self-reported from three scales:the New Job Stress Scale(NJSS),Work Performance(WP),and Attitudes toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help(AtSPPH_SF)were ***:Significant variations were found across several variables,including forms of work,operating hours,education levels,monthly income,numbers of daily working hours,and the presence of a psychological counseling department within the *** analysis has highlighted direct relationships between key latent *** who were more open to seeking professional help tended to report higher levels of job *** negative relationship was found between job stress and attitudes toward seeking professional ***,work effort was positively associated with work *** analyses revealed the influence of co-worker support on role expectation conflict and work effort,role expectation conflict and work-life balance,as well as interactions between role expectation conflict and attitudes needed toward seeking professional *** analyses showed that work effort mediated relationships between openness to seeking professional help,co-worker support,work-life balance,role expectation conflict,and work *** toward seeking professional help also mediated relationships between work-life balance,job stress,and work ***:the study highlights the complex dynamics surrounding job stress,job-related factors,work performance,and attitudes toward seeking professional psychological help among Vietnamese *** highlights the importance of addressing help-seeking barriers,promoting work engagement

Watermarking algorithms that use convolution neural networks have exhibited good robustness in studies of deep learning ***,after embedding watermark signals by convolution,the feature fusion eficiency of convolution is relatively low;this can easily lead to distortion in the embedded *** distortion occurs in medical images,especially in diffusion tensor images(DtIs),the clinical value of the DtI is *** address this issue,a robust watermarking algorithm for DtIs implemented by fusing convolution with a transformer is proposed to ensure the robustness of the watermark and the consistency of sampling distance,which enhances the quality of the reconstructed image of the watermarked DtIs after embedding the watermark *** the watermark-embedding network,ti-weighted(tlw)images are used as prior *** correlation between t1w images and the original DtI is proposed to calculate the most significant features from the t1w images by using the transformer *** maximum of the correlation is used as the most significant feature weight to improve the quality of the reconstructed *** the watermark extraction network,the most significant watermark features from the watermarked DtI are adequately learned by the transformer to robustly extract the watermark signals from the watermark *** results show that the average peak signal-to-noise ratio of the watermarked DtI reaches 50.47 dB,the diffusion characteristics such as mean diffusivity and fractional anisotropy remain unchanged,and the main axis deflection angleαAc is close to *** proposed algorithm can effectively protect the copyright of the DtI and barely affects the clinical diagnosis.
