TiO_2 films were coated on the surface of diamond particles using a sol-gel method. The effects of heat treatment temperature on the morphology, phase composition and chemical bond of diamond particles coated with TiO2 films were investigated through SEM, TEM, X-ray diffraction analysis, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, and XPS. The results showed that when being heat-treated at 600 ℃, the amorphous TiO_2 film transfered to the anatase film which bonded well with diamond substrate. Meanwhile, the Ti-O-C bond formed between TiO2 film and diamond substrate. When being heat-treated at 800 ℃, TiO2 film was still anatase, and partial diamond began to graphitize. The graphitizated carbon could also form the Ti-O-C bond with TiO_2 film, although TiO_2 film would tend to crack in this case.

Nanoparticles have been widely utilized in biological research in recent years. 1,6-Hexanedithiol was used as the medium in this work to attach Au nanoparticles on thegold plates. We studied the immobilization and hybridization of DNA probes onto the resulted plates using the quartz crystal microbalance method. Approximately 3-5 times adsorption enhancement of HS-DNA on the plates was obtained under our experimental conditions. Using this DNA sensor, the sensitivity was promoted by approximately three times to 0.35μg/mL.

The aging behaviors and mechanism of fluoroelastomer(FKM)under lubricating oil(FKM-O)and air(FKM-A,as a comparison)at elevated temperatures were studied from both physical and chemical *** obvious changes of mechanical and swelling performances indicate that the coupling effect of lubricating oil and temperature causes more serious deterioration of FKM-O compared to that of ***,much stronger temperature dependence of both bulk properties and micro-structures for FKM-O is ***-stage physical diffusion process is defined in FKM-O due to the competition between oil diffusion and elastic retraction of *** results reveal that the dehydrofluorination reaction causes the fracture of C-F bonds and produces a large number of C=C bonds in the *** coupling effect of oil medium and high temperature could accelerate the scission of C=C bonds and generate a series of fragments with different molecular *** TGA results,crosslinking density Ve,and glass transition temperature Tg derived from different measurements coherently demonstrate the network destruction in the initial stage and the simultaneous reconstruction occurring at the final *** newly formed local network induced by reconstruction cannot compensate the break of the original rubber network and thus only provides lower tensile strength and thermal stability.

Volcanic activity was quite frequent during the deposition of the Late Carboniferous Ha’erjiawu Formation in the Santanghu *** petrology and organic and inorganic geochemical indicators were used to investigate hydrocarbon potential,paleoenvironmental conditions and organic matter enrichment of the *** results show that the oil generation capacity of the Ha’erjiawu Formation mudstones,which has abundant oil-prone organic matter(TypeⅡkerogen with hydrogen index values mainly ranging from 250 to 550 mg HC/g TOC)in mature stage(Tmax values mainly ranging from 435 to 450℃),is *** Ha’erjiawu Formation was deposited in a dysoxic,freshwater-mildly brackish,and warm-humid *** its deposition,the Ha’erjiawu Formation received hydrothermal *** volcanic hydrothermal activities played an important role in the organic matter *** addition,the total organic carbon(TOC)is significantly positively correlated with the felsic mineral content,but it is negatively correlated with the carbonate mineral content and C27/C29 ratios,indicating that terrigenous organic matter input also contributed to the primary productivity in the surface ***,the formation of the high-quality source rocks in the Ha’erjiawu Formation was jointly affected by the hydrothermal activity and the terrigenous organic matter input.

BACKGROUND Cutaneous metastasis is a rare event associated with poor prognosis for gastric cancer and has been rarely reported in the *** SUMMARY A 69-year-old male patient who had undergone salvage gastrectomy and a few courses of adjuvant chemotherapy 3 mo earlier for recurrent gastric cancer developed widespread cutaneous *** to the patient’s intolerance to further adjuvant chemotherapy,he was placed in hospice care and expired 1 mo *** the literature,gastric cancers are rarely reported as the primary malignancies for cutaneous ***,thus,provide an update on a case review published in 2014 by reviewing 10 more case reports dated from 2014 to *** average age for the new group of patients was 59.4±*** percent of the patients presented with cutaneous lesions and advanced gastric cancer synchronously while 70%developed cutaneous metastases 1.3 years to 14 years after the initial treatment for primary gastric *** percent of the patients received either local excision or chemo±radiation therapy to treat their cutaneous *** This report highlights cutaneous metastasis as a late and untreatable metastasis of gastric cancer.

An energy-efficient route was adopted to treat titanium-bearing blast furnace slag(TBBFS)in this ***,aluminum,and magnesium were simultaneously extracted and silicon was separated by low temperature sulfuric acid curing and low concentration sulfuric acid *** process parameters of sulfuric acid curing TBBFS were systematically *** the optimal conditions,the recovery of titanium,aluminum,and magnesium reached 85.96%,81.17%,and 93.82%,*** rapid leaching model was used to limit the dissolution and polymerization of silicon,and the dissolution of silicon was only 3.18%.The mechanism of sulfuric acid curing-leaching was *** the curing process,the reaction occurred rapidly and released heat *** the attack of hydrogen ions,the structure of TBBFS was destroyed,silicate was depolymerized to form filterable silica,and titanium,magnesium,aluminum,and calcium ions were replaced to form sulfates and enriched on the surface of silica ***,aluminum,and magnesium were recovered in the leaching solution,and calcium sulfate and silica were enriched in the residue after *** method could effectively avoid the formation of silica sol during the leaching process and accelerate the solid-liquid separation.

Using theoretical analysis and mumerical calculation method,the axial adiabatic compression of a spinning non-ideal gas in a cylinder with a smooth surface is *** show that the axial pressure of a spinning gas will gradually become lower than that of a stationary gas during continuous compression,even though the initial axial pressure of the spining gas is larger than that of the stationary gas at the same initial temperature and average *** phenomenon indicates that the axial compressibility of gas is improved in a rotating *** addition,the effect of different forms of virial coefficient B(T)on pressure and temperature changes in spinning and stationary gases are *** on the axial compressibility of spinning non ideal gas can provide useful references for fields that require high compression of gases,such as laser fusion,laboratory astrophysics,and Z-pinch experiments.

The suppression of overwintering population is essential in integrated pest management,but little is known about the biological mortality factors that reduce the overwintering density of Chilo ***,we examine the parasitism of overwintering larvae,and assume that key parasitoids strengthen the over-wintering population *** natural parasitism incidence and related dominant parasitoids in overwintering larvae were investigated in two successive winters,in 2015-2016 and *** rates were also assessed in larvae collected from 15 different counties in *** results showed that the parasitism incidence and dominant parasitoids in overwintering *** larvae were significantly different for different sampling dates and *** larvae of *** were mainly parasitized by Cotesia chilonis,and less often by Eriborus sinicus and Microgaster *** analysis indicated that the natural incidence of parasites in overwintering *** larvae was positively correlated with the over-wintering larval *** current work provides support for overwintering pest management strategies by showing the effectiveness of parasitoid communities as a bio-mortality factor for suppressing overwintering density.

Determining the venting time of a gas trunk pipeline segment provides an important basis for formulating an emergency plan in the advent of unexpected *** the natural gas venting process corresponds to the transient flow,it is necessary to establish a transient hydraulic-thermal simulation model in order to determine the venting *** this paper,based on two kinds of venting scenarios in which there is only one venting point in the venting system of a gas trunk pipeline segment—namely,where the venting point is either at one of the two ends or at the junction of two gas trunk pipeline segments—transient hydraulic-thermal simulation models are *** models consist of gas flow governing equations,the gas state equation,gas physical property equations,initial conditions,and appropriate boundary *** implicit central difference method is used to discretize the gas flow partial differential equations,and the trust-region-dogleg algorithm is used to solve the equations corresponding to each time step,in order to dynamically simulate the whole venting *** judgment condition for the end of the venting process is that the average pressure of gas trunk pipeline segment is less than 0.11 MPa(actual pressure).Comparing the simulation results of the proposed model with those of the OLGA software and real operational data,we find that the venting time error is less than 10%.On this basis,a venting valve opening control principle is proposed,which prevents the venting noise from exceeded the specified noise value(85 d B)in the venting design of domestic gas pipeline *** established calculation model for venting time(dynamic simulation model)for a gas trunk pipeline segment and the proposed opening control principle of venting valve provide reference for the optimal operation of gas pipeline venting systems.

The thermodynamically favorable electrocatalytic oxidation coupled with hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is considered as a sustainable and promising ***,it remains a great challenge due to the lack of simple,cheap,highefficient ***,we successfully develop a simple and scalable electro-deposition and subsequent phosphorization route to fabricate Ni-doped Co_(2)P(Ni-Co_(2)P)nanosheets catalyst using the in-situ released Ni species from defective Ni foam as metal ***,the as-synthesized Ni-Co_(2)P catalyst exhibits excellent electrochemical 5-hydroxymethylfurfural oxidation reaction(HOR)performance with>99%2,5-furandicarboxylic acid yield and>97%Faradaic efficiency at an ultralow potential of 1.29 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE).Experimental characterization and theoretical calculation reveal that the atomically doped Ni species can enhance the adsorption of reactant and thus lower the reaction energy *** coupling the electrocatalytic HOR with HER,the employed two-electrode system using Ni-Co_(2)P and commercial Ni foam as anode and cathode,respectively,exhibits a low cell voltage of 1.53 V to drive a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2),which is 90 mV lower than that of pure water *** work provides a facile and efficient approach for the preparation of high-performance earth-abundant electrocatalysts toward the concurrent production of H_(2)and value-added chemicals.
