A 2D Layer Copper(Ⅱ) Coordination Polymer with 3-Nitrophthalic Acid: Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Copper 3-Nitrophthalate Metal-organic Framework-graphene Oxide Nanocomposite

A 2D layer Cu(Ⅱ) coordination polymer [Cu(npth)(H_(2)O)]n(1) was crystallized from a mixture of 3-nitrophthalic acid and Cu(OAc)_(2)·H_(2)O in water under room temperature and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and TGA. Compound 1 was applied to make a nanocomposite with graphene oxide(GO). A highly dispersible and stable nanocomposite of Cu(npth)-GO was successfully synthesized by a simple ultrasonication method. SEM, TEM, UV-vis, FT-IR and TGA were used to characterize the morphology and structure of the prepared composite. In accordance with the characterization results, we suspected that the binding mechanism of Cu(npth) and GO was assigned to be the cooperative interaction of Cu–O coordination, π-π stacking and hydrogen bonding.

Physical and numerical investigation on fluid flow and inclusion removal behavior in a single-strand tundish

Aiming at the problem that the existence of inclusions in the tundish continuous casting process can easily lead to quality defects of the slab,the stainless steel continuous casting tundish was taken as the research *** effects of flow control device,inclusion density and inclusion size on the mixing characteristics of molten steel and inclusion behavior in tundish were *** results showed that compared with the tundish without flow control device,the average residence time of molten steel was prolonged by about 49 s,the dead zone volume fraction was reduced by 8.93%,and the piston fluid integral rate was increased by 12.68%.In the turbulence inhibitor(TI)tundish with weir-dam combination,the removal rate of inclusions with a density of 2700 kg m^(-3) and a particle size of 5 lm is 63.32%,while the removal rate of large inclusions with a density of 150μm could reach 89.04%.When the inclusion particle size was 10-50μm and the density was 2700-4500 kg m^(-3),the effect of inclusion density on inclusion removal rate was *** the same time,when weir-dam combination TI tundish was set,the inclusions were mainly limited to the slag-metal interface of the first and second chambers of the *** removal rate of inclusions in the first chamber was generally improved,with 10μm inclusions accounting for 47.67% and 150μm inclusions accounting for 60.69%.Furthermore,it has the best effect on the removal of small-size inclusions,especially those less than 70μm.

Dual therapy for Helicobacter pylori infection

Bismuth-containing quadruple therapy(BQT)has long been recommended for Helicobacter pylori(***)eradication in ***,in the latest national consensus in China,dual therapy(DT)comprising an acid suppressor and amoxicillin has also been *** recent years,the eradication rate of *** has reached>90%using DT,which has been used not only as a first-line treatment but also as a rescue *** with BQT,DT has great potential for *** eradication;however,it has some *** review summarizes the development of DT and its application in *** *** *** eradication rates of DT were comparable to or even higher than those of BQT or standard triple therapy,especially in the first-line *** incidence of adverse events associated with DT was lower than that with other ***,there were no significant differences in the effects of dual and quadruple therapies on gastrointestinal *** the short term,*** eradication causes certain fluctuations in the gastrointestinal microbiota;however,in the long term,the gastrointestinal microbiota eventually returns to its normal *** the penicillin-naïve population,patients receiving DT have a high eradiation rate,better compliance,lower incidence of adverse reactions,and lower primary and secondary resistance to *** findings suggest the safety,efficacy,and potential of DT for *** eradication.

Cytotoxicity of pilocarpine to human corneal stromal cells and its underlying cytotoxic mechanisms

AIM： To examine the cytotoxic effect of pilocarpine, an anti-glaucoma drug, on human corneal stromal（HCS）cells and its underlying cytotoxic mechanisms using an in vitro model of non-transfected HCS cells.· METHODS： After HCS cells were treated with pilocarpine at a concentration from 0.15625 g/L to 20.0 g/L,their morphology and viability were detected by light microscopy and MTT assay. The membrane permeability,DNA fragmentation and ultrastructure were examined by acridine orange（AO）/ethidium bromide（EB） double-staining. DNA electrophoresis and transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, cell cycle, phosphatidylserine（PS）orientation and mitochondrial transmembrane potential（MTP） were assayed by flow cytometry（FCM）. And the activation of caspases was checked by ELISA.· RESULTS： Morphology observations and viability assay showed that pilocarpine at concentrations above0.625 g/L induced dose- and time-dependent morphological abnormality and viability decline of HCS cells. AO/EB double-staining, DNA electrophoresis and TEM noted that pilocarpine at concentrations above 0.625 g/L induced dose- and/or time-dependent membrane permeability elevation, DNA fragmentation, and apoptotic body formation of the cells. Moreover, FCM and ELISA assays revealed that 2.5 g/L pilocarpine also induced S phase arrest, PS externalization, MTP disruption, and caspase-8,-9 and-3 activation of the cells.· CONCLUSION： Pilocarpine at concentrations above0.625 g/L（1/32 of its clinical therapeutic dosage） has a dose- and time-dependent cytotoxicity to HCS cells by inducing apoptosis in these cells, which is most probably regulated by a death receptor-mediated mitochondrion-dependent signaling pathway.

Analysis of Chlorogenic Acid in Herbal Medicines by Capillary Electrophoresis

A simple, rapid and accurate capillary zone electrophoresis method was developed for the determination of chlorogenic acid as a marker in traditional Chinese medicines. The buffer solution comprised of 10 mmol/L sodium phosphate and 20 mmol/L boric acid containing 5% ethanol with the pH value adjusted to 7.00. The contents of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae and Flos Lonicerae containing herbal preparations were determined within 15 min.

Insight into the influence of ether and ester electrolytes on the sodium-ion transportation kinetics for hard carbon

The electrochemical performance of hard carbon(HC)materials is closely related to the electrolyte used in the sodium ion batteries(SIBs).Conventional electrolytes carbonate(EC)demonstrates low initial Columbic efficiency(ICE)and poor rate performance,which is one of the main bottlenecks that limits the practical application of *** electrolyte(diglyme)was reported to improve the rate performance of ***,the underlying mechanism for the excellent rate capability is still lack of in-depth *** this work,the differences of sodium-ion diffusion between ether and carbonate-base electrolytes in HCs are analyzed layer by ***,when sodium-ions are diffused in electrolyte,the diffusion coefficient of sodium-ion in ether electrolyte is about 2.5 times higher than that in ester electrolytes by molecular dynamics(MD)simulation and experimental ***,when the solvated sodium-ions are diffused into the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)interface and the HCs material,the enhanced charge transfer kinetics(thin SEI layer(4.6 vs.12 nm)and low RSEI(1.5 vs.24Ω))at the SEI combined with low desolvation energy(0.248 eV)are responsible for high-rate performance and good cycling stability of HC in ether ***,high diffusion coefficient,low desolvation energy,and good interface are the intrinsic reasons for enhanced rate performance in ether electrolyte,which also has guiding significance for the design of other high-rate electrolytes.

Effects of Modified Inclusions and Precipitates Alloyed by Rare Earth Element on Corrosion and Impact Properties in Low Alloy Steel

This study has focused on the morphology and distribution of inclusions and precipitates modified by rare earth(RE)elements,which has a decisive influence on microstructure,corrosion properties and impact behaviors in Q355 low alloy *** by the method of electrolytic extraction and ASPEX-scanning electron microscopy(ASPEX-SEM),small-sized spherical RE inclusions have been modified to replace elongated MnS and large-sized Al_(2)O_(3).Q355RE steel after RE alloying has lower corrosion rate and higher value ofα/γ,due to the formation of stable and dense rust layers.Q355RE steel also exhibits better resistance to fracture at low temperature,owing to the presence of RE modification to inclusions and its effects on reducing crack initiation and ***-scale RE precipitates containing sulfur and phosphorus is observed along grain boundaries by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The purification of grain boundaries by RE is beneficial to the improvement of corrosion and impact properties.

Influence of A-site doping barium on structure,magnetic and microwave absorption properties of LaFeO_(3)ceramics powders

In this paper,the effect of Ba^(2+)ions A-site doping LaFeO_(3)on structure,magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties was investigated by the sol-gel *** to the TEM and FullProf refinement results,the structure of LaFeO_(3)changes from orthogonal(SG:Pnma)to cubic(SG:Pm-3 m)when the Ba doping amount is x=*** SEM image shows that the particles size tends to decrease with the increase of Ba *** production of weak ferromagnetism indicates that Ba doping has a significant effect on the magnetic properties of LaFeO_(3).The Neel temperature(TN)decreases significantly with the increase of Ba doping *** appropriate amount of Ba doping can effectively increase the dielectric and magnetic loss of LaFeO_(3)ceramics *** increase permittivity(ε’andε″)may be attributed to the hopping of the electrons between the Fe^(3+)and Fe^(4+)ions with the Ba^(2+)ions *** minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of La_(0.9)Ba_(0.1)FeO_(3)at 6.72 GHz reaches-30.04 dB,its effective bandwidth(RL≤-10 dB)is 2.1 GHz,and the matching thickness is only 3.2 *** results indicate that Ba doping can effectively control the microwave absorption properties of LaFeO_(3),especially in the Cband.
