Owing to their exceptional properties, high-entropy alloys(HEAs) and high-entropy materials have emerged as promising research areas and shown diverse applications. Here,the recent advances in the field are comprehensively reviewed,organized into five sections. The first section introduces the background of HEAs, covering their definition, significance,application prospects, basic properties, design principles, and microstructure. The subsequent section focuses on cutting-edge high-entropy structural materials, highlighting developments such as nanostructured alloys, grain boundary engineering,eutectic systems, cryogenic alloys, thin films, micro-nano-lattice structures, additive manufacturing, high entropy metallic glasses, nano-precipitate strengthened alloys, composition modulation, alloy fibers, and refractory systems. In the following section, the emphasis shifts to functional materials, exploring HEAs as catalysts, magneto-caloric materials, corrosion-resistant alloys, radiation-resistant alloys, hydrogen storage systems, and materials for biomedicine. Additionally, the review encompasses functional high-entropy materials outside the realm of alloys, including thermoelectric, quantum dots, nanooxide catalysts, energy storage materials, negative thermal expansion ceramics,and high-entropy wave absorption materials. The paper concludes with an outlook, discussing future directions and potential growth areas in the field. Through this comprehensive review,researchers, engineers, and scientists may gain valuable insights into the recent progress and opportunities for further exploration in the exciting domains of high-entropy alloys and functional materials.

Objective:To evaluate the effect and safety of foot baths with Tangbi Waixi Decoction(TW)in treating patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods:It is a multicenter double-blinded randomized controlled *** with DPN were recruited between November 18,2016 and May 30,2018 from 8 hospitals in *** patients received basic treatments for glycemic *** received foot baths with TW herbal granules either 66.9 g(intervention group)or 6.69 g(control group)for 30 min once a day for 2 weeks and followed by a 2-week rest,as a therapeutic *** the Toronto Clinical Scoring System total score(TCSS-TS)6 points,the patients received a total of 3 therapeutic courses(for 12 weeks)and were followed up for 12 *** primary outcome was change in TCSS-TS score at 12 and 24 *** outcomes included changes in bilateral motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV)of the median and common peroneal *** was also ***:Totally 632 patients were enrolled,and 317 and 315 were randomized to the intervention and control groups,*** the 12-week intervention,patients in both groups showed significant declines in TCSSTS scores,and significant increases in MNCV and SNCV of the median and common peroneal nerves compared with pre-treatment(P0.05),and no serious adverse event was related with ***:Treatment of TW foot baths was safe and significantly benefitted patients with DPN.A low dose of TW appeared to be more effective than a high dose.(Registry *** CTR-IOR-16009331)

Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCGe)detector(CDEX-1B,1.008 kg)in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of^(76)Ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1989–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower limit on the half life of^(76)Ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1/2)^(0ν)>1.0×10^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper limits on the effective Majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual Design Report(Pre-CDR,2015)and the Conceptual Design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.

Widespread soil acidification due to atmospheric acid deposition and agricultural fertilization may greatly accelerate soil carbonate dissolution and ***,to date,few studies have addressed these ***,we use meta-analysis and nationwide-survey datasets to investigate changes in soil inorganic carbon(SIC) stocks in *** observe an overall decrease in SIC stocks in topsoil(0-30 cm)(11.33 g C m-2yr-1) from the 1980 s to the 2010 *** SIC stocks have decreased by～8.99±2.24%(1.37±0.37 Pg C).The average SIC losses across China(0.046 Pg C yr-1) and in cropland(0.016 Pg C yr-1) account for～17.6%-24.0% of the terrestrial C sink and 57.1% of the soil organic carbon sink in cropland,*** deposition and climate change have profound influences on SIC *** estimate that～19.12%-19.47% of SIC stocks will be further lost by *** consumption of SIC may offset a large portion of global efforts aimed at ecosystem carbon sequestration,which emphasizes the importance of achieving a better understanding of the indirect coupling mechanisms of nitrogen and carbon cycling and of effective countermeasures to minimize SIC loss.

目的观察芪黄煎剂对大鼠胃切除后小肠黏膜免疫屏障的影响。方法将60只Wistar大鼠随机分为假手术组、模型组、芪黄煎剂组(中药组),每组20只。模型组与中药组均行胃切除手术,模型组术后给予小肠内滴注肠内营养制剂能全素;中药组予小肠内滴注能全素和中药芪黄煎剂。假手术组仅行腹部正中切开及关腹处理,术后正常进食水,不予药物及营养干预。干预1周后,分离出大鼠小肠集合淋巴小结(Peyer's patches,PPs)细胞、固有层淋巴细胞(lamina propria lymphocytes,LPLs)、黏膜上皮内淋巴细胞(intraepithelial lymphocytes,IELs)和肠腔黏膜表面分泌型免疫球蛋白A(secretory IgA,s IgA),应用流式细胞术、免疫组织化学、双抗体-PEG放射免疫等技术,检测肠黏膜不同解剖部位T细胞抗原受体(αβT cell antigen receptor)-CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+T细胞比例、IgA^+B细胞数量、s IgA含量。结果与假手术组比较,模型组肠黏膜s IgA含量、PPs中IgA^+B细胞数量和LPLs中IgA^+B细胞数量均降低(P<0.01);模型组IELs中CD3^+、CD8^+T细胞比例,LPLs中CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+T细胞比例,PPs中CD3^+、CD4^+T细胞比例降低(P<0.01,P<0.05)。与模型组比较,中药组肠黏膜s IgA含量、PPs中IgA^+B细胞数量和LPLs中IgA^+B细胞数量升高(P<0.01,P<0.05),中药组IELs中CD3^+、CD8^+T细胞比例,LPLs中CD3^+、CD4^+T细胞比例,PPs中CD3^+、CD4^+T细胞比例升高(P<0.01,P<0.05)。结论芪黄煎剂能促进大鼠胃切除术后小肠黏膜免疫屏障中CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+T、IgA^+B淋巴细胞的增殖与分化及s IgA含量的增加,能够促进大鼠胃切除术后肠道免疫屏障功能障碍的恢复。

The ^(232)Th(n,f)cross section is very important in basic nuclear physics and applications based on the Th/U fuel *** the time-of-flight method and a multi-cell fast-fission ionization chamber,a novel measurement of the^(232)Th(n,f)cross sec-tion relative to^(235)U in the 1–200 MeV range was performed at the China Spallation Neutron Source Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).The fission event-neutron energy spectra of^(232)Th and^(235)U fission cells were measured in the single-bunch *** 232Th/235U fission cross-sectional ratios were obtained,and the measurement uncertainties were 2.5–3.7%for energies in the 2–20 MeV range and 3.6–6.2%for energies in the 20–200 MeV ***^(232)Th(n,f)cross section was obtained by introducing the standard cross section of^(235)U(n,f).The results were compared with those of previous theoreti-cal calculations,measurements,and *** measured 232Th fission cross section agreed with the main evaluation results in terms of the experimental uncertainty,and 232Th fission resonances were observed in the 1–3 MeV *** present results provide^(232)Th(n,f)cross-sectional data for the evaluation and design of Th/U cycle nuclear systems.

Back-streaming neutrons from the spallation target of the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)that emit through the incoming proton channel were exploited to build a white neutron beam facility(the so-called Back-n white neutron source),which was completed in March *** Back-n neutron beam is very intense,at approximately 29107 n/cm2/s at 55 m from the target,and has a nominal proton beam with a power of 100 kW in the CSNS-I phase and a kinetic energy of 1.6 GeV and a thick tungsten target in multiple slices with modest moderation from the cooling water through the *** addition,the excellent energy spectrum spanning from 0.5 eV to 200 MeV,and a good time resolution related tothe time-of-flight measurements make it a typical white neutron source for nuclear data measurements;its overall performance is among that of the best white neutron sources in the *** with advanced spectrometers,detectors,and application utilities,the Back-n facility can serve wide applications,with a focus on neutron-induced cross-sectional *** article presents an overview of the neutron beam characteristics,the experimental setups,and the ongoing applications at Backn.
