KEY FACTORs FOR EFFICIENTLY IMPLEMENTING CUsTOMIZED E-LEARNING sYsTEM IN THE sERVICE INDUsTRY

In recent years, e-learning system has been adopted as a training tool in many firms, as it can help employees to complete training in a short time and at a low cost. Within this context, since 2003 the Industrial development Bureau （IDB） of the Ministry of Economic Affairs （MOEA） in Taiwan sponsored more than 50 enterprises each year to help them implement customized e-learning systems. Past research on e-learning mostly focused on one criterion and adopted regression approach, such as examining the relationships between satisfaction or continued usage intentions and various antecedent factors. Although the regression method could uncover the significant factors of e-learning adoption, they can not show the can （weighting） of each factor, and thus firms cannot allocate the optimal levels of resources. To overcome this problem, this study collected factors related to finns implementing customized e-learning systems from a review of the literature and expert opinions, and then constructed a hierarchical factor table. Based on the appropriateness and independence of factors, and as assessed by experts in the project promotion office of the IDB, e-learning solution providers and project leaders of the IDB sponsored enterprises, this paper then designed an Analytical Hierarchy Process （AHP） format questionnaire and sent it to these same experts to gather their responses. The factor weightings were derived based on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process （FAHP） method. Finally, analysis of key factors was performed and recommendations provided. Based on the results for this work, service industry firms with limited resources can achieve proper resource allocation and more quickly and successfully adopt customized e-Learning systems.

stress Wave Propagation Analysis on Vortex-Induced Vibration of Marine Risers

To analyze the stress wave propagation associated with the vortex-induced vibration（VIV） of a marine riser, this paper employed a multi-signal complex exponential method. This method is an extension of the classical Prony＇s method which decomposes a complicated signal into a number of complex exponential components. Because the proposed method processes multiple signals simultaneously, it can estimate the “global” dominating frequencies（poles） shared by those *** complex amplitude（residues） corresponding to the estimated frequencies for those signals is also obtained in the process. As the signals were collected at different locations along the axial direction of a marine riser, the phenomena of the stress wave propagation could be analyzed through the obtained residues of those signals. The Norwegian deepwater Program（NDP） high mode test data were utilized in the numerical studies, including data sets in both the in-line（IL） and cross-flow（CF） directions. It was found that the most dominant component in the IL direction has its stress wave propagation along the riser being dominated by a standing wave, while that in the CF direction dominated by a traveling wave.

Instantaneous Point, Line, and Plane Motions Using a Clifford Algebra

The motions of points, lines, and planes, embedded in a rigid body are expressed in a unified algebraic framework using a Clifford algebra. A Clifford algebra based displacement operator is addressed and its higher derivatives from which the coordinate-independent characteristic numbers with simple geometric meaning are defined. Because of the coordinate independent feature, no tedious coordinate transformation typically found in the conventional instantaneous invariants methods is needed.

detection of sugar-Regulated Gene Expression and signaling in suspension-Cultured Rice Cells

To better understand the mechanism of sugar signaling in rice cell, the suspension-cultured rice cells were transferred from sucrose-containing (+s) to sucrose-free (-s) of Ms culture medium, we found that ribosomal RNAs (rRNAs) were degraded progressively. This suggests that carbon, nitrogen, and phosphate were recycled in this process and the reduction in cellular rRNAs might lead to decreased translation to save energy in response to sugar starvation. Differential screening revealed that two groups of genes, sugar-starvation-repressed (ssR) and sugar-starvation-activated (ssA) genes, were regulated by sugar in an opposing manner. Northern-blot analysis showed that two major hybridization signals of 0.8 and 1.9 kb were induced strongly under sugar starvation. The two populations of genes corresponded with homologs of α-amylases (1.9 kb) and the glycine-rich proteins (GRPs) gene family (0.8 kb), and all were ssA genes. Expression of GRP genes was strongly induced in sugar-starved cells, which suggests that GRPs may help to protect cells against nutritional stress. Treatment of +s and -s cells with the protein kinase (PK) inhibitor staurosporine (st) and the serine/theronine phosphoprotein phosphatases 1 (PP1) and 2A (PP2A) inhibitor okadaic acid (OA) revealed that PP1 and PP2A (PPs) might be involved in increasing ssR gene expression in +s cells, and that activation of the majority of the ssA genes in -s cells might be due to PKs activity. These results suggested that PKs and PPs might be involved in the sugar regulation of ssR and ssA gene expression. An in-gel PK activity assay demonstrated that the activity of two classes of PKs (50 and 66 kDa) may be induced rapidly after transfer of +s cells to -s medium. Following transfer of -s cells to +s medium, a novel class of 38 kDa PK was induced rapidly and showed high activity. The 38 kDa PK might play a role in sugar sensing, and the 50 and 66 kDa PKs might play roles in signal sensing under sugar starvation in rice

Effect of substituents in hydroxyl radical-mediated degradation of azo pyridone dyes: Theoretical approaches on the reaction mechanism

Understanding the degradation behavior of azo dyes in photocatalytic wastewater treatment is of fundamental and practical importance for their application in textile-processing and other coloration industries. In this study, quantum chemistry, as density functional theory, was used to elucidate different degradation pathways of azo pyridone dyes in a hydroxyl radical(HO ·)-initiated photocatalytic system. A series of substituted azo pyridone dyes were synthesized by changing the substituent group in the para position of the benzene moiety, ranging from strong electron-donating to strong electron-withdrawing groups. The effect of dye molecular structure on the photocatalytic degradation reaction mechanism was analyzed and quantification of substituent effects on the thermodynamic and kinetics parameters was performed. Potential energy surface analysis revealed the most susceptible reaction site for the HO ·attack. The calculated reaction barriers are found to be strongly affected by the nature of substituent group with a good correlation using Hammett σp constants and experimentally determined reaction rates. The stability of pre-reaction complexes and transition state complexes were analyzed applying the distortion-interaction model. The increased stability of the transition state complexes with the distancing from the substituent group has been established.

目的探讨PBL联合案例分析的思维导图教学方法,对培养风湿免疫科实习护生的意义。方法将先到本科室的26名护生设为对照组,后到本科室的26名护生设为试验组。对照组沿用传统模式教学,试验组在对照组的基础上采用PBL联合典型案例分析及利用思维导图串联所有知识点教学。对比分析教学完成前后2组护生在自主学习能力、临床思维能力、护理教学满意度、出科考试得分情况。结果试验组护生在自主学习能力、临床思维能力、考试成绩与教学满意度的得分均高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 PBL联合案例分析的思维导图教学法,对风湿免疫临床护生的培养有积极意义。

Field evaluation of streptomyces rubrogriseus HDZ-9-47 for biocontrol of Meloidogyne incognita on tomato

streptomyces rubrogriseus HDZ-9-47,isolated from eggs of Meloidogyne spp.,was evaluated as a potential biocontrol agent of Meloidogyne incognita under in vitro and protective *** observations showed that HDZ-9-47 parasitized eggs of *** within 7 *** vitro,the culture filtrate of HDZ-9-47 caused 97.0%mortality of second-stage juveniles（J2s）of *** and inhibited more than 50%egg *** the field,compared with the control,the rootknot index and J2s density in the treatment of drench the broth contained 1012 HDZ-9-47 spores were respectively reduced by 51.1 and 80.7%at 90 days post transplantation,which were better than that in other application doses and *** addition,reduction rates of root-knot index and J2s density of the treatment of combined application of HDZ-9-47 with biofumigation was 87.1 and 91.0%,respectively,better than either of HDZ-9-47 or biofumigation used alone or fosthiazate *** tomato yield also increased by 16.1%.Together,our results suggest that HDZ-9-47 could be an effective biocontrol agent of ***,and that application of HDZ-9-47 combined with cabbage residue biofumigation was a promising and sustainable option for *** control.
