The transformation mechanisms of thiourea in ethylene glycol solution was systematically investigated in this report, which shows the transformation process is influenced by the anion （NO3-, CI-, Br-） and polyvinylpyrroli- done （PVP）. Thiourea （tu） isomerizes into ammonium thiocyanate when NO3- is present, regardless of the existence of PVP. For CI-, thiourea coordinates with copper anion to form [Cu（tu）]Clol/2H20 complex whether PVP is pre- sent. When it comes to Br-, thiourea hydrolyzes in the cooperation of PVP or coordinates with copper anion to form [Cu（tu）Br]. 1/2H20 complex without PVP. The different transformation routes will lead to different phase evolution of the Cu--S system. This work may provide a new understanding of the transformation of thiourea in ethylene glycol solution. The optical properties of the as-prepared copper sulfides exhibit significant stoichiometry- dependent features which may have potential applications in semiconductor photovoltaic devices.

Materials featured with self-supported three-dimensional network,hierarchical pores and rich electrochemical active sites are considered as promising electrodes for ***,a novel strategy for the growth of nickel-cobalt bisulfide(Ni Co S)nanosheets arrays on carbon cloth(CC)as supercapacitor electrodes is reported,involving deposition of two-dimensional metal-organic framework(MOF)precursors on the CC skeletons,conversion of MOF into nickel-cobalt layered double-hydroxide by ion exchange process and formation of Ni Co S by a sulfidation *** Ni Co S nanosheets with rough surface and porous structures are uniformly anchored on the CC *** unique architecture endows the composite(Ni Co S/CC)with abundant accessible active ***,robust electrical/mechanical joint between the nanosheets and the substrates is attained,leading to the improved electrochemical ***,an asymmetric supercapacitor device is constructed by using Ni Co S/CC and activated carbon as a positive electrode and a negative electrode,*** optimized device exhibits a high specific capacitance,large energy density and long cycle *** Ni Co S/CC electrode with intriguing electrochemical properties and mechanical flexibility holds great prospect for next-generation wearable devices.

Penetrating neural interface, which collects the neural electrophysiological signal and serves as a key component in brain-computer interface, has drawn great attention recently. The instability of chronic recording is the main challenge for the conventional neural interface. Novel neural probes with improved long-term performance have been developed based on advanced materials and engineered structures. Here, we review these emergent innovations contributing to chronic stable recording from the perspectives of materials,structures, and implantation methods. These advances make possible further developments in neuroscience research related to neural decoding, neural circuit mechanism analysis, and neurological disease treatment.

Lithium(Li)metal is widely considered the ultimate anode for future rechargeable ***,dendritic growth and related parasitic reactions during long-term cycling often lead to severe safety hazards and catastrophic ***,we fabricate a hybrid anode by coating single-phase Li_(21)Si_(5)on lithium *** resultant electrodes show a stable cycle and depressed polarization in symmetric and half cells.A planar plating/stripping behavior is observed on the modified *** investigation of the interplay of Li and Li_(21)Si_(5)shows relatively large adsorption energy in the Li-Si *** deposition and stripping are surface processes,and Li_(21)Si_(5)maintains its intrinsic phase *** deposited Li layer around Li_(21)Si_(5)also has the advantage of diminished preferred orientation,which also contributes to the planar growth of *** LiFePO4(LFP)and LiNi1/3Co1/3 Mn1/3O2(NCM)cathodes were applied to further demonstrate the enhanced rate and cycle performance.

Realizing the real-time detection of CH4 is important for the safety of human life.A facile hydrothermal method was used to synthesize Ag nanoparticlesdecorated ZnO porous nanoflakes(PNFs)in this *** characterization results confirmed that Ag nanoparticles had been decorated in ZnO nanoflakes with the thickness of~10 *** gas-sensing properties of Ag-decorated ZnO nanoflakes were also *** the gas-sensing performances of ZnO were remarkably improved by decorating Ag nanoparticles on the surface of ZnO nanoflakes,the response of the Agdecorated ZnO sensor to 3000 ppm CH4 is almost 1.3 times as high as that of pristine ZnO *** obtained Ag/ZnO sensor exhibits better long-term stability and shorter response recovery time(5/38 s)in the comparison with pristine ZnO,demonstrating the possibility for the actual detection of *** enhanced CH4 sensing performance can be attributed to the synergism between the unique hierarchical porous structure and the sensitizing actions utilized by the Ag nanoparticles.

Chinese alligator hatchlings in captivity are fragile and have a high mortality rate within first *** body mass gain of reptile animals is closely related to their feeding behavior and gut *** study analyzed the intrinsic factors influencing the allometric growth of Chinese alligator hatchlings based on their body mass gain,feeding behavior,and gut *** information would enhance the health management of Chinese alligator *** was a significant correlation between the total distance moved,the average number of conspecifics nearby,and body mass *** alligator hatchlings with a greater growth rate showed greater activity and more independent behavior during feeding than those with a lower growth ***,after feeding started,some functions of the gut microbiota showed significant relationships with growth rate and feeding *** alligator hatchlings with a greater growth rate showed greater levels of heme biosynthesis than those with a lower growth rate,and feeding activity was inhibited by long-chain fatty acid *** results elucidate the relationships between health,feeding behavior,and the gut microbiota of Chinese alligator *** the intrinsic factors of their health and feeding behavior can improve the health management of Chinese alligator hatchlings in captivity for conservation.

采用固相法制备高热膨胀系数BaO-B2O3-SiO2微晶玻璃,并通过X线衍射分析(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)等方法研究不同比例锆钛复合晶核剂对微晶玻璃中石英的晶型转变、显微结构、热膨胀性能和介电性能的影响。结果表明,适当增大BaO-B2O3-SiO2微玻璃中晶核剂TiO2/ZrO2的比例,能促进微晶玻璃中石英晶相向方石英晶相的转变,提高微晶玻璃的热膨胀系数;晶核剂含量(质量分数)为3%ZrO2+4%TiO2时,制备出微观结构均匀致密,密度为2.876g·cm-3,弯曲强度为172 MPa,热膨胀系数为16.05×10-6/℃,介电常数为5.81及介质损耗为6.4×10-4的低温共烧陶瓷(LTCC)基板封装材料。

Instruction Cues Increase Brain Network Complexity During Movement Preparation

Instruction cues are widely employed for research on neural mechanisms during movement ***,their influence on brain connectivity during movement has not received much ***,15 healthy subjects completed two experimental tasks including either instructed or voluntary movements;meanwhile electroencephalogram(EEG)data were synchronously *** on source analysis and related literature,six movement-related brain regions were selected,including the left/right supplementary motor area(SMA),left/right inferior frontal gyrus(iFg),and left/right postcentral gyrus(pCg).After assuming 10 a priori models of regional brain connectivity,we evaluated the optimal connectivity model between brain regions for the two scenarios using the dynamic causality model(DCM).During voluntary movement,the movement originated in the SMA,passed through the iFg of the prefrontal lobe,and then returned to the main sensory cortex of the *** the instructed movement,the movement originated in the iFg,and then was transmitted to the pCg and the SMA,as well as from the pCg to the *** contrast to the preparation process of voluntary movement,there were long-range information interactions between the iFg and ***,almost the same brain regions were active during movement preparation under both voluntary and instructed movement tasks,which evidences certain similarities in dynamic brain connectivity,that is,the brain has direct connections between the bilateral SMA,bilateral pCg,and bilateral SMA,indicating that the both brain hemispheres work together during the movement preparation *** results suggest that the network during the preparation process of instructed movements is more complex than voluntary movements.
