Novel 2D CaCl crystals with metallicity, room-temperature ferromagnetism, heterojunction, piezoelectricity-like property and monovalent calcium ions

Under ambient conditions, the only known valence state of calcium ions is +2, and the corresponding crystals with calcium ions are insulating and nonferromagnetic. Here, using cryo-electron microscopy, we report direct observation of two-dimensional(2 D) CaCl crystals on reduced graphene oxide(rGO)membranes, in which the calcium ions are only monovalent(i.e. +1). Remarkably, metallic rather than insulating properties are displayed by those CaCl crystals. More interestingly, room-temperature ferromagnetism, graphene–Ca Cl heterojunction, coexistence of piezoelectricity-like property and metallicity, as well as the distinct hydrogen storage and release capability of the CaCl crystals in rGO membranes are experimentally demonstrated. We note that such CaCl crystals are obtained by simply incubating r GO membranes in salt solutions below the saturated concentration, under ambient *** studies suggest that the formation of those abnormal crystals is attributed to the strong cation-πinteractions of the Ca cations with the aromatic rings in the graphene surfaces. The findings highlight the realistic potential applications of such abnormal Ca Cl material with unusual electronic properties in designing novel transistors and magnetic devices, hydrogen storage, catalyzers, high-performance conducting electrodes and sensors, with a size down to atomic scale.

There is a considerable amount of work that shows the biomagnetism of organic components without ferromagnetic components at the molecular level,but it is of great challenge to cover the giant gap of biomagnetism between their experimental and theoretical *** we show that the diamagnetism of aromatic peptides is greatly enhanced for about 11 times by self-assembling,reaching two orders of magnitude higher than the mass susceptibility of pure *** self-assembly of aromatic rings in the peptide molecules plays the key role in such a strong diamagnetism.

Unexpected Selective Absorption of Lithium in Thermally Reduced Graphene Oxide Membranes

Lithium plays an increasingly important role in scientific and industrial processes, and it is extremely important to extract lithium from a high Mg^(2+)/Li^(+) mass ratio brine or to recover lithium from the leachate of spent lithiumion batteries. Conventional wisdom shows that Li^(+) with low valence states has a much weaker adsorption(and absorption energy) with graphene than multivalent ions such as Mg^(2+). Here, we show the selective adsorption of Li^(+) in thermally reduced graphene oxide(rGO) membranes over other metal ions such as Mg^(2+), Co^(2+), Mn^(2+),Ni^(2+), or Fe^(2+). Interestingly, the adsorption strength of Li^(+) reaches up to 5 times the adsorption strength of Mg^(2+),and the mass ratio of a mixed Mg^(2+)/Li^(+) solution at a very high value of 500 : 1 can be effectively reduced to 0.7 : 1 within only six experimental treatment cycles, demonstrating the excellent applicability of the rGO membranes in the Mg^(2+)/Li^(+) separation. A theoretical analysis indicates that this unexpected selectivity is attributed to the competition between cation–π interaction and steric exclusion when hydrated cations enter the confined space of the rGO membranes.

目的探讨适配器相关蛋白复合物1亚基mu2(AP1M2)表达与结肠癌患者临床病理特征的相关性。方法收集2017年1-12月连云港市第二人民医院行根治性手术治疗的97例结肠恶性肿瘤患者的癌组织及癌旁组织。收集患者临床病理特征资料,采用免疫组化法检测结肠癌组织与癌旁组织中AP1M2蛋白的表达水平,采用酶联免疫吸附测定法检测AP1M2在血清中表达情况。分析AP1M2蛋白表达与结肠恶性肿瘤患者临床病理特征的关系;采用Kaplan-Meier法分析结肠癌患者术后5年生存情况的影响因素;采用生物信息学分析AP1M2涉及的蛋白及相关通路情况。结果免疫组化分析发现,AP1M2在结肠癌组织中的表达高于癌旁组织;在97对标本中,结肠癌组织AP1M2高表达73例,癌旁组织AP1M2高表达43例,差异有统计学意义(P=0.004)。酶联免疫吸附测定法检测发现,结肠癌患者癌组织血清中AP1M2表达高于癌旁组织,差异有统计学意义(P=0.02)。肿瘤直径>5 cm、N_(1)~N_(2)分期(有淋巴结转移)、T分期的T_(3)~T_(4)期、术后5年复发患者AP1M2高表达比率分别高于肿瘤直径≤5 cm、N_(0)分期(无淋巴结转移)、T分期的T_(1)~T_(2)期、术后5年无复发患者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。术后随访5年,24例AP1M2低表达患者术后5年死亡5例,而73例AP1M2高表达患者术后5年死亡24例,差异有统计学意义(P=0.005)。Cox分析显示,AP1M2是结肠癌患者术后死亡的危险因素。生物学分析显示,AP1M2与肿瘤代谢及黏附相关。结论AP1M2表达水平在结肠癌组织中及血清中上调,这与肿瘤临床分期、淋巴结转移情况相关,与结肠癌患者预后也相关。AP1M2可作为结肠癌预后的潜在预测指标。

大港石化公司采用联合生物法处理含油污泥,对使用好氧、厌氧工艺处理含油污泥的结果进行了探讨。实验结果表明:先进行好氧处理然后脱水再进行厌氧堆肥工艺处理含油污泥,除油率达到97.6%,除磷、钾的指标低于《城镇垃圾农用控制标准》(GB8172-87)的要求外,其他指标均符合该标准要求,且避免了二次污染。
