The theoretical and practical analysis of reservoir thickness and oil-bearing information of thin reservoirs is performed by using seismic attributes and forward modelling. The results show that thin reservoir can be recognized using seismic attributes technique when its thickness is less than 1/4 of wavelength. Through analyzing the influence of tuning effect, the relationship between thin layer thickness and tuning amplitude is well revealed. A precise structure interpretation is conducted using relative amplitude preserved high-resolution seismic data. By taking the geologic condition and well data into account, the distribution of oil and gas of HD4 oilfield is analyzed and predicted. based on seismic attributes. The result is helpful to promote the exploration and development in this oilfield.

Cavernous weathering is commonly found on sandstone slopes in different environments. Either a single dominant process or polygenetic agents require to be invoked in order to interpret the development. The Yongningshan hill of the central Loess Plateau is representative of cliff dwellings in Northwest China, which is characterized by well-developed cavernous weathering features and provides a good opportunity for the better understanding of sandstone weathering in the Loess Plateau. Multiple methods, including field survey, in-situ rock strength measurement, along with experiments on samples for microscopic observation, element composition and salt chemistry, were employed to investigate the controlling factors of cavernous weathering. The results show that cavern development is different on the four slopes with the western slope hosting massive honeycombs, tafoni and hardened surfaces. The porous and permeable aeolian sandstones are fundamental, because they provide space and pathways for the transportation of water and salt, honeycombs dominantly aligning within the lamination of cross-beds. The environmental factors such as the seasonal wetting and drying cycle, aeolian salt, moisture and water vapor are key factors for the development of cavernous weathering forms. The northern and northwestern wind-blown dust storms have brought abundant salts, the lengthier dry periods of the wetting and drying cycle being beneficial for salt accumulation within caverns, favoring salt weathering.

Sichuan Basin is one of the most important marine–salt forming basins in China. The Simian and Triassic have a large number of evaporites. The Triassic strata have found a large amount of polyhalite and potassium-rich brine. However, no soluble potassium salt deposit were found. In this study, the halite in well Changping 3 which is located at the eastern part of the Sichuan basin was studied using the characteristics, hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of the fluid inclusion in halite to reconstruct the paleoenvironment. The salt rocks in well Changping 3 can be divided into two types: grey salt rock and orange salt rock. The result shows that the isotopic composition of the halite fluid inclusion is distinct from the global precipitation line reflecting that the salt formation process is under strong evaporation conditions and the climate is extremely dry. At the same time, compared with the hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of brine in the Sichuan Basin and the hydrous isotope composition of the inclusions in the salt inclusions of other areas in China, it is shown that the evaporation depth of the ancient seawater in the Sichuan Basin was high and reached the precipitation of potassium and magnesium stage.

Tafoni occur generally in granular rocks around the world, but their origin remains controversial. In this study,the roles of lithology, micro–climate, and organism in tafoni development are investigated in the Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark of South China. The Jinshiyan Temple and Luyitang sites along the Jinjiang River are chosen to conduct tafoni morphometry, bedrock petrography, and micro–climate analyses. The research methods used in this study include field observations and measurements, Voronoi diagrams, polarizing microscopic and scanning electron microscopic(SEM)image analysis, and meteorological detection. The tafoni are mostly 2–10 cm in length and elliptical in shape. The Late Cretaceous Jinshiyan sandstones are characterized by a grain–to–grain contact fabric and moderate sorting with a high proportion of soluble grains and cements. The Voronoi diagrams developed through the Arc GIS software are largely consistent with the tafoni openings. Moreover, owing to exposure to solar insolation, the external temperature values are higher than the internal ones, while the external relative humidity values are lower than the internal ones. Therefore, the permeable Jinshiyan sandstones are fundamental for tafoni development, while the abundant moisture from the Jinjiang River and frequent rains is favorable for salt weathering in tandem with biological activities. At last, a five–stage development model is proposed for the tafoni progression in the study area.

The study was conducted to investigate the regulatory mechanism of glutamine(Gln)on intestinal inflammation in an Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide(*** LPS)-induced in vivo and in vitro ***(n=8)weaned at 21 d of age were fed a basal diet(control and LPS groups)or 1%Gln diet(Gln t LPS group)ad libitum for 4 *** d 22,24,26 and 28,piglets in the LPS and Gln t LPS groups were intraperitoneally injected with *** *** porcine epithelial cells(IPEC-J2)(n=6)induced by LPS were used to assess related mechanisms and compound C was used to inhibit adenosine 50-monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)*** current results showed that compared with the LPS treatment,the Gln t LPS treatment had better growth performance and greater villus height(P<0.05),and the Gln t LPS treatment reduced the rate of diarrhea by 6.4%(P<0.05);the Gln t LPS treatment decreased serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF-ɑ),interleukin-6(IL-6),Kt,cortisol and insulin levels,whereas increased(P<0.05)serum immunoglobulin M and epidermal growth factor levels;the Gln t LPS treatment increased(P<0.05)the expression of aquaporins and AMPK pathwayassociated targets in the jejunum and ileum of piglets,whereas decreased the expression of ion transporters(P<0.05).The in vitro results showed that 4 mmol/L Gln administration could inhibit(P<0.05)cell apoptosis and interleukin-1b(IL-1b),IL-6 and TNF-ɑsecretion in LPS-induced IPEC-J2 cells,promote(P<0.05)mitochondrial respiratory metabolism and increase(P<0.05)the number of mitochondria and mitochondrial membrane *** activity of AMPK was elevated by 70%to 300%in Gln-treated IPEC-J2 cells under LPS challenge or normal *** results indicate that pre-administration of Gln to piglets suppresses intestinal inflammation by modulating the crosstalk between AMPK activation and mitochondrial function.

This study aimed to determine the regulatory mechanism of dietary zinc lactate(ZL)supplementation on intestinal oxidative stress damage in a paraquat(PQ)-induced piglet ***-eight piglets(mean body weight 9.51±0.23 kg)weaned at 28 d of age were randomly divided into control,ZL,PQ,and ZL+PQ groups(n=7 in each group).The ZL-supplemented diet had little effect on growth performance under normal physiological ***,under PQ challenge,ZL supplementation significantly improved average daily gain(P<0.05)and reduced the frequency of *** improved intestinal morphology and ultrastructure by significantly increasing the expression level of the jejunal tight junction protein,zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)(P<0.05),and intestinal zinc transport and absorption in PQ-induced piglets,which reduced intestinal *** supplementation also enhanced the expression of antioxidant and antiinflammatory factor-related genes and decreased inflammatory cytokine expression and secretion in PQinduced ***,ZL treatment significantly inhibited the activation of constitutive androstane receptor(CAR)signaling(P<0.01)in PQ-induced piglets and altered the structure of the gut microbiota,especially by significantly increasing the abundance of beneficial gut microbes,including UCG_002,Ruminococcus,Rikenellaceae_RC9_gut_group,Christensenellaceae_R_7_group,Treponema,unclassified_Christensenellaceae,and unclassified_Erysipelotrichaceae(P<0.05).These data reveal that pre-administration of ZL to piglets can suppress intestinal oxidative stress by improving antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity and regulating the crosstalk between CAR signaling and gut microbiota.

The antifouling of marine facilities placed below the waterline is a key constraint to the development of the marine ***,commercial Cu_(2)O-based antifouling coatings still have defects such as agglomeration,oxidation,short duration and high *** this reason,we developed for the first time a triple antifouling system consisting of Cu_(2)O@poly(NIPAM-co-DAm)(Cu_(2)O@PND)dynamic redox micro-gels triggered by copper ions and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS).The catechol groups of PND nanogels can chelate Cu^(2+)and reduce it in situ to obtain Cu_(2)O@PND microgels,which guarantees the stable release of Cu^(+).Furthermore,Cu_(2)O remains stable and free from oxidation because of the electron transfer between PND and Cu^(2+).Finally,superior antifouling performance was achieved by combining the stable Cu^(+)re-leased from Cu_(2)O,in situ conversion of PND to hydrogel,and its oxidation to produce active substances and H_(2)O_(2),and PDMS coating with low surface energy.

Organic and inorganic materials migrate downstream and have important roles in regulating environmental health in the river ***,it remains unclear whether and how a mixture of materials(i.e.,microbial species)from various upstream habitats contribute to microbial community coalescence upstream of a *** we track the spatial variation in microbial abundance and diversity in the Three Gorges Reservoir based on quantitative PCR and 16 S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing *** further quantitatively assess the relative contributions of microbial species from mainstem,its tributaries,and the surrounding riverbank soils to the area immediately upstream of the Three Gorges Dam(TGD).We found an increase of microbial diversity and the convergent microbial distribution pattern in areas immediately upstream of TGD,suggesting this area become a new confluence for microbial diversity immigrating from ***,the number of shared species increased from upstream to TGD but unique species decreased,indicating immigration of various sources of microbial species overwhelms local environmental conditions in structuring microbial community close to *** quantifying the sources of microbial species close to TGD,we found little contribution from soils as compared to tributaries,especially for sites closer to TGD,suggesting tributary microbes have greater influence on microbial diversity and environmental health in the Three Gorges ***,our results suggest that tracking microbial geographic origin and evaluating accumulating effects of microbial diversity shed light on the ecological processes in microbial communities and provide information for regulating aquatic ecological health.
