Deformable catalytic material with excellent flexible structure is a new type of catalyst that has been applied in various chemical reactions,especially electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).In recent years,deformable catalysts for HER have made great progress and would become a research *** catalytic activities of deformable catalysts could be adjustable by the strain engineering and surface *** surface curvature of flexible catalytic materials is closely related to the electrocatalytic HER ***,firstly,we systematically summarized self-adaptive catalytic performance of deformable catalysts and various micro–nanostructures evolution in catalytic HER ***,a series of strategies to design highly active catalysts based on the mechanical flexibility of lowdimensional nanomaterials were *** but not least,we presented the challenges and prospects of the study of flexible and deformable micro–nanostructures of electrocatalysts,which would further deepen the understanding of catalytic mechanisms of deformable HER catalyst.

Impaired brain glucose metabolism is an early indicator of Alzheimer’s disease(AD);however,the fundamental mechanism is *** this study,we found a substantial decline in isocitrate dehydrogenase 3β(IDH3β)levels,a critical tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme,in AD patients and AD-transgenic mice’s *** investigations demonstrated that the knockdown of IDH3βinduced oxidation-phosphorylation uncoupling,leading to reduced energy metabolism and lactate *** resulting increased lactate,a source of lactyl,was found to promote histone lactylation,thereby enhancing the expression of paired-box gene 6(PAX6).As an inhibitory transcription factor of IDH3β,the elevated PAX6 in turn inhibited the expression of IDH3β,leading to tau hyperphosphorylation,synapse impairment,and learning and memory deficits resembling those seen in *** AD-transgenic mice,upregulating IDH3βand downregulating PAX6 were found to improve cognitive functioning and reverse AD-like ***,our data suggest that impaired oxidative phosphorylation accelerates AD progression via a positive feedback inhibition loop of IDH3β-lactate-PAX6-IDH3β.Breaking this loop by upregulating IDH3βor downregulating PAX6 attenuates AD neurodegeneration and cognitive impairments.

Granulation is an effective method for improving the flowability of drugs, particularly when they are in needle form. Carbamazepine-hesperetin (CBZ-HPE) cocrystal is a needle-like crystal with low solubility and poor flowability, which limits its application. To address this issue, this study aimed to obtain CBZHPE microspheres using the quasi-emulsion solvent diffusion (QESD) technique. The preparation process was monitored using polarized light microscopy, and the formation mechanism was elucidated using the radial distribution function (RDF). The microspheres were extensively characterized using PXRD, DSC, TGA, and SEM. Furthermore, the effects of surfactants, contents, and rotational speeds on the morphology and particle size distribution of microspheres were analyzed to determine the optimal experimental conditions. Based on these findings, naringenin and quercetin, the active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine, were chosen to successfully prepare CBZ-HPE multicomponent microspheres. This research provides a foundation for increasing drug powder properties and drug conjugation through the preparation of microspheres. AIM:To observe the therapeutic effect of conbercept on diabetic macular edema(DME)complicated with diabetic nephropathy(DN).METHODS:In this retrospective study,54 patients(54 eyes)that diagnosed as DME from January 2017 to October 2021 were *** patients were divided into two groups:DME patients with DN(25 eyes),and DME patients without DN(29 eyes).General conditions were collected before treatment,laboratory tests include fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,microalbumin/creatinine,serum *** coherence tomography(OCT)was used to check the ellipsoidal zone(EZ)and external limiting membrane(ELM)*** macular thickness(CMT),best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),and retinal hyperreflective foci(HF)as well as numbers of injections were ***:There were significant differences between fasting blood glucose,HbA1c,serum creatinine,urinary microalbumin/creatinine,and estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)between the two groups(all P<0.05).EZ and ELM continuity in the DME+DN group was worse than that in the DME group(P<0.05).BCVA(logMAR)in the DME group was significantly better than that in the DME+DN group at the same time points during treatment(all P<0.05).CMT and HF values were significantly higher in the DME+DN group than that in the DME group at the all time points(all P<0.05)and significantly decreased in both groups with time during *** 6mo after treatment,the mean number of injections in the DME+DN and DME group was 4.84±0.94 and 3.79±0.86,***:Conbercept has a significant effect in short-term treatment of DME patients with or without DN,and can significantly ameliorate BCVA,CMT and the number of HF,treatment efficacy of DME patients without DN is better than that of DME patients with DN.

Previous Particle Boundary(PPB),as the detrimental structure in Powder Metallurgy(PM)components,should be eliminated by subsequent hot process to improve the mechanical *** objective is to investigate the Dynamic Recrystallization(DRX)nucleation mechanisms and grain growth behavior of the 3rd-generation PM superalloy with PPB *** observation reveals that PPB decorated with(Ti,Ta,Nb)C carbides belongs to the discontinuous chain-like *** elimination of PPB networks can be achieved effectively via hot deformation due to the occurrence of *** different DRX nucleation mechanisms were proposed and discussed in detail according to the special microstructure characteristics of the PM ***,local lattice rotations can be detected in the vicinity of(Ti,Ta,Nb)C carbides during hot deformation and thus PPB structure serves as the preferential nucleation sites for DRX grains via Particle-Stimulated Nucleation(PSN).Then,Discontinuous-DRX(DDRX)characterized by grain boundary bulging dominates the microstructure refinement and Continuous-DRX(CDRX)operated by subgrain rotation can be regarded as an important assistant *** last,the initial Σ3 boundaries would lose their twin characteristics owing to the crystal rotation and then transform into the general High Angle Grain Boundaries(HAGBs).The distorted twins provide additional DRX nucleation sites,viz.,twin-assisted *** attention was focused on the grain growth behavior of the PM superalloy in subsequent annealing *** recrystallization temperature was determined to be about 1110.C and 1140.C can be considered as the critical temperature for grain *** findings would provide theoretical support for microstructure refinement of the 3rd-generation PM superalloy,which is of pivotal significance for improving the mechanical properties of aviation components.

Developing luminescent metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) capable of high-efficiency Fe^(3+)sensing has aroused great attraction in the fields of biology,chemistry,***,previous solvothermal methods are limited by organic solvent usage,time consuming,high pressure,and high-energy ***,we propose the waste-toMOF strategy towards the scale-up production of La-MOF nanoparticles through the ball milling of recycled poly(-ethylene terephthalate)(PET) bottles and La(NO_(3))_(3)·_(6)H_(2)*** goes on alkaline hydrolysis to form 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid sodium salt(Na_(2)BDC) and ethylene glycol by ball ***,BDC reacts with La^(3+)to form *** as-prepared La-MOF crystal nanoparticles possess a rod-like morphology with the size of few hundred ***,La-MOF nanoparticles display high selectivity and sensitivity for Fe^(3+)*** quenching constant and limit of detection are 5.29×10^(3)(mol·L^(-1))^(-1) and 0.147 μmol·L^(-1),respectively,thus surpassing many advanced Fe^(3+) *** to the result of density functional theory,the high Fe^(3+) detection performance of La-MOF is related to the complexing of Fe^(3+)with La-MOF,which leads to the gradual dissociation of the coordination bond between terephthalic acid and La^(3+).It is anticipated that the mechanochemistry milling-based wasteto-MOF strategy provides a new platform for the massive production of functional MOFs in a green manner.

Strong anisotropic corrosion and mechanical properties caused by specimen orientations greatly limit the applications of wrought magnesium *** investigate the influences of specimen orientation,the corrosion tests and(corrosion)fatigue crack growth tests were *** rolled and transverse surfaces of the materials show distinct corrosion rate differences in the stable corrosion stage,but the truth is the opposite for the initial stage of *** air,specimen orientations have a significant influence on the plastic deformation mechanisms near the crack tip,which results in different fatigue fracture surfaces and cracking *** with R-T specimens,N-T specimens show a slower fatigue crack growth(FCG)rate in air,which can be attributed to crack closure effects and deformation twinning near the crack *** corrosion environment will not significantly change the main plastic deformation mechanisms for the same type of ***,the FCG rate in phosphate buffer saline(PBS)is one order of magnitude higher than that in air,which is caused by the combined effects of hydrogen-induced cracking and anodic *** to the similar corrosion rates at crack tips,the specimens with different orientations display close FCG rates in PBS.

Cosmic shear statistics,such as the two-point correlation function(2PCF),can be evaluated with the PDF-SYM method instead of the traditional weighted-sum *** makes use of the full PDF information of the shear estimators,and does not require weightings on the shear estimators,which can in principle introduce additional systematic *** work presents our constraints on S8and?mfrom the shear-shear correlations using the PDF-SYM *** data we use is from the z-band images of the Dark Energy Camera Legacy Survey(DECa LS),which covers about 10000 deg2with more than 100 million *** shear catalog is produced by the Fourier Quad method,and well tested on the real data itself with the field-distortion *** main approach is called quasi-2D as we do use the photo-z information of each individual galaxy,but without dividing the galaxies into redshift *** mainly use galaxy pairs within the redshift interval between 0.2 and 1.3,and the angular range from 4.7 to 180 *** analysis yields S8=0.762±0.026 and?m=0.234±0.075,with the baryon effects and the intrinsic alignments *** results are robust against redshift *** check the consistency of our results by deriving the cosmological constraints from auto-correlations ofγ1andγ2separately,and find that they are consistent with each other,but the constraints from theγ1component are much weaker than that fromγ*** implies a much worse data quality ofγ1,which is likely due to additional shear uncertainties caused by CCD electronics(according to the survey strategy of DECa LS).We also perform a pure 2D analysis,which gives S8=0.81_(-0.04)^(+0.03)and?m=0.25_(-0.05)^(+0.06).Our findings demonstrate the potential of the PDF-SYM method for precision cosmology.
