A surface plasmon resonance （SPR） biosensor based on wavelength modulation technology was developed and validated for the kinetic analysis of the interactions between two nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs （NSAIDs） and cyclooxygenase-2 （COX-2）. After the effect of different concentration COX-2 on the binding capacity of the SPR biosensor surface was studied, the COX-2 was immobilized covalently onto the biosensor surface using a standard amine coupling method. The affinity constants for indomethacin, ketoprofen binding to COX-2 are 7.5× 10^3 L/tool and 9.25 × 10^3 L/mol, respectively. The biosensor surface can be regenerated after being rinsed with 0.01 mol/L NaOH, and the biosensor can be used repeatedly. These indicated that the wavelength modulation SPR biosensor has the potential application in the fields of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and drug discovery.

Fine-grained sediments are widely distributed and constitute the most abundant component in sedimentary systems, thus the research on their genesis and distribution is of great significance. In recent years, fine-grained sediment gravity-flows(FGSGF) have been recognized as an important transportation and depositional mechanism for accumulating thick successions of fine-grained sediments. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of global research on FGSGF deposition, the characteristics,depositional mechanisms, and distribution patterns of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits(FGSGFD) are discussed, and future research prospects are clarified. In addition to the traditionally recognized low-density turbidity current and muddy debris flow, wave-enhanced gravity flow, lowdensity muddy hyperpycnal flow, and hypopycnal plumes can all form widely distributed FGSGFD. At the same time, the evolution of FGSGF during transportation can result in transitional and hybrid gravityflow deposits. The combination of multiple triggering mechanisms promotes the widespread development of FGSGFD, without temporal and spatial limitations. Different types and concentrations of clay minerals, organic matters, and organo-clay complexes are the keys to controlling the flow transformation of FGSGF from low-concentration turbidity currents to high-concentration muddy debris flows. Further study is needed on the interaction mechanism of FGSGF caused by different initiations, the evolution of FGSGF with the effect of organic-inorganic synergy, and the controlling factors of the distribution patterns of FGSGFD. The study of FGSGFD can shed some new light on the formation of widely developed thin-bedded siltstones within shales. At the same time, these insights may broaden the exploration scope of shale oil and gas, which have important geological significances for unconventional shale oil and gas.

The present study observed the effects of the non-invasive, mirror neuron system application on neurorehabilitation. In primate studies, mirror neurons have been shown to fire when the subject observes or performs a specific action, thereby allowing for observation of motor cortex activation. This activation of the mirror neuron system could serve as a treatment for stroke patients. In the present study, the combination of a mirror neuron system-based therapy was introduced for the treatment of patients with motor-deficits, who could not perform rehabilitation exercises. The results also indicate that this therapeutic method plays a positive role in emotional regulation in the same patients.

Near-eutectic Al-Si alloys are widely used in automotive manufacturing due to their superior wear resistance and high temperature *** of high Si content,the grain refinement of near-eutectic Al-Si alloy has been a problem for many *** this study,the effect of deep cryogenic treatment(DCT)on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-12Si-4Cu-2Ni-Mg alloy with addition of Al-Ti-C-B master alloy was fully *** show that the average grain size of the alloy is greatly reduced from 0.92 mm to 0.50 mm,and the eutectic Si and Al7Cu4Ni precipitates are spheroidized and refined in Al-12Si-4Cu-2Ni-Mg after DCT for 24 h and aging *** these changes of microstructures result in a significant increment of about 22.5%in elongation and a slight enhancement of about 6.8%in tensile ***,the refinement of microstructure also significantly improves the fatigue life of the alloy.

Parkinson's disease is primarily caused by the loss of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra ***,a novel form of regulated cell death characterized by iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation,plays a vital role in the death of dopaminergic ***,the molecular mechanisms underlying ferroptosis in dopaminergic neurons have not yet been completely *** oxidase 4 is related to oxidative stress,however,whether it regulates dopaminergic neuronal ferroptosis remains *** aim of this study was to determine whether NADPH oxidase 4 is involved in dopaminergic neuronal ferroptosis,and if so,by what *** found that the transcriptional regulator activating transcription factor 3 increased NADPH oxidase 4 expression in dopaminergic neurons and astrocytes in an 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6 tetrahydropyridine-induced Parkinson's disease *** oxidase 4 inhibition improved the behavioral impairments observed in the Parkinson's disease model animals and reduced the death of dopaminergic ***,NADPH oxidase 4 inhibition reduced lipid peroxidation and iron accumulation in the substantia nigra of the Parkinson's disease model ***,we found that NADPH oxidase 4 interacted with activated protein kinase Cαto prevent ferroptosis of dopaminergic ***,by lowering the astrocytic lipocalin-2 expression,NADPH oxidase 4 inhibition reduced 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6 tetrahydropyridine-induced *** findings demonstrate that NADPH oxidase 4 promotes ferroptosis of dopaminergic neurons and neuroinflammation,which contribute to dopaminergic neuron death,suggesting that NADPH oxidase 4 is a possible therapeutic target for Parkinson's disease.

Ethylene carbonate(EC)is the conventional and promising solvent to achieve high energy lithium metal ***,the innate low energy level of lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)in EC makes it incompatible with lithium metal,causing uncontrolled lithium growth and low Coulombic efficiency(CE).Herein,we introduced bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)carbonate(TFEC),a carbonate with a strong electron-withdrawing effect(-CF_(3)),which enhances the stability of EC at electrode interface by reducing ion-dipole interactions between Li^(+)and *** the interaction between Li and EC weakens,TFEC and more PF_(6)^(-)anions coordinate with Li^(+),promoting the formation of contact ion pairs(CIPs)and aggregates(AGGs),thereby increasing the inorganic composition within the solid electrolyte ***,the distinct solvated sheath structure favors the decomposition of fluorinated solvents and PF_(6)^(-)anions,forming inorganic-rich electrode-electrolyte interfaces(SEI and CEI),thereby ensuring high stability for both the Li anode and high-voltage ***,when applied in the full-cell Li||LiMn_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)PO_(4),it displays consistent cycling performance,exhibiting minimal capacity decay with a retention rate of 62.5%after800 cycles,substantially surpassing that of cells using base electrolytes(29.8%).

AIM To detect hepatitis A virus-specific immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody *** Colloidal gold with an average dia-meter of 15 nm was prepared by controlled reduction of a boiling solution of 0.2 g/ L chloroauric acid with 10 g/ L sodium citrate and labeled with anti-HAVIgG as gold probe. Dot immunogold filtration assay (DIGFA) has been developed by coating anti-human μ chain on nitrocellulose membrane (NCM) for capturing the anti-HAV IgM in serum, then using cultured hepatitis A antigen as a 'bridge', connecting anti-HAV IgM in sample and anti-HAV IgG labeled colloidal gold. If there was anti-HAV IgM in sample, gold probes would concentrate on NCM, which will appear a pink *** A total of 264 serum samples were comparatively detected with both DIGFA and ELISA by 'blind' method. Among them, 88 were positive and 146 were negative with the two methods. The sensitivity and the specificity of DIGFA were 86.27% and 90.12%, respectively. Fifteen negative serum samples and 15 positive serum samples were detected 3 times repeatedly, the results were the *** DIGFA is a simple, rapid, sensitive, specific and reliable method without expensive equipment and is not interfered with rheumatoid factor (RF) in serum. It is suitable for basic medical laboratories. The test could be applied for diagnosis and epidemiological survey of hepatitis A. It has a broad prospect in *** A virus-specific immunoglobulin M antibody (anti-HAV IgM) is the specific serological marker for the early diagnosis of acute hepatitis A. Polybromodiphenyl ethers(PBDEs),the widely used flame retardants,are common contaminants in surface soils at e-waste recycling *** association of PBDEs with soil colloids has been observed,indicating the potential risk to groundwater due to colloid-facilitated ***,the extent to which soil colloidsmay enhance the spreading of PBDEs in groundwater is largely ***,we report the co-transport of decabromodiphenyl ester(BDE-209)and soil colloids in saturated porous *** colloids released froma soil sample collected at an e-waste recycling site in Tianjin,China,contain high concentration of PBDEs,with BDE-209 being the most abundant conger(320±30 mg/kg).The colloids exhibit relatively high mobility in saturated sand columns,under conditions commonly observed in groundwater ***,under all the tested conditions(i.e.,varying flow velocity,pH,ionic species and ionic strength),the mass of eluted BDE-209 correlates linearly with that of eluted soil colloids,even though the mobility of the colloids varies markedly depending on the specific hydrodynamic and solution chemistry conditions ***,the mass of BDE-209 retained in the columns also correlates strongly with themass of retained ***,the PBDEs remain bound to soil colloids during transport in porous *** in this study indicate that soil colloidsmay significantly promote the transport of PBDEs in groundwater by serving as an effective *** might be the reason why the highly insoluble and adsorptive PBDEs are found in groundwater at some PBDE-contaminated sites.

Aim:Advanced glycation endproducts（AGE）have been implicated in the patho-genesis of diabetic complications,including diabetic cardiovascular dysfunction.3-[2-（4-Bromo-phenyl）-1-methyl-2-oxo-ethyl]-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzothiazol-3-iumbromide（C16）,a novel AGE breaker,was investigated for its effects on the deve-lopment of cardiovascular disease in diabetic ***:Rats that hadstreptozotocin-induced diabetes for 12 weeks were divided into groups receivingC 16 or vehicle by ***:In hemodynamic studies of the left ventricle,C16 treatment（25 or 50 mg/kg）for 4 weeks resulted in a significant increase in leftventricular systolic pressure,+dp/dtmax,and-dp/dtmaxas compared with vehicle-treated diabetic ***,in hemodynamic studies of the cardiovascularsystem,C16（12.5,25,or 50 mg/kg）treatment for 4 weeks resulted in a dose-dependent and significant increase in cardiac output,a reduction of total periph-eral resistance,and an increase in systemic arterial compliance when comparedwith vehicle-treated diabetic *** studies showed that C16 treatmentalso resulted in a significant decrease in immunoglobulin G-red blood cell surfacecrosslink content and an increase in collagen *** and im-munohistochemical examinations indicated that C 16 was able to prevent increasesof the collagen type Ⅲ/Ⅰ ratio in the aorta and decrease the accumulation of AGEin the ***:C16 has the ability to reduce AGE accumulation intissues in vivo,and can restore diabetes-associated cardiovascular disorders *** provides a potential therapeutic approach for cardiovascular diseaseassociated with diabetes and aging in humans.
