BACKGROUNd One of the common late sequela in patients with end-stage renal disease(ESRd)is the calcium phosphate disorder leading to chronic hypercalcemia and hyperphosphatemia causing the precipitation of calcium salt in soft *** calcinosis is an extremely rare clinical manifestation of cyst-like soft tissue deposits in different periarticular regions in patients with ESRd and is characterized by extensive calcium salt containing space-consuming painful *** treatment of ESRd patients with tumoral calcinosis manifestation involves an increase in or switching of renal replacement therapy regimes and the adjustment of oral medication with the goal of improved hypercalcemia and *** SUMMARY We describe a 40-year-old woman with ESRd secondary to IgA-nephritis and severe bilateral manifestation of tumoral calcinosis associated with hypercalcemia,hyperphosphatemia and tertiary *** patient was on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and treatment with vitamin d *** switching her to a daily hemodialysis schedule and adjusting the medical treatment,the patient experienced a significant dissolution of her soft tissue calcifications within a couple of *** remission was achieved 11 mo after the initial *** Reduced patient compliance and subsequent insufficiency of dialysis regime quality contribute to the aggravation of calcium phosphate disorder in a patient with ESRd leading to the manifestation of tumoral ***,the improvement of the treatment strategy and reinforcement of patient compliance enabled complete remission of this rare disease entity.

*** study has examined the relationship between the factor of intolerance of uncertainty and its effects on the cognitive processes among parents of a childhood cancer *** of uncertainty is a central factor in generalized anxiety disorder;an anxiety disorder in which impaired processing of cognitive information in the form of cognitive biases is also *** aim of the study was to measure,via a classical Stroop test and an emotional Stroop test,the orientation of selective attention in relation to the uncertainty intolerance ***.61 parents of a childhood cancer survivor(aged 4 to 6 years)were recruited from hospitals in the Province of Liege(Belgium).Parents completed questionnaires on intolerance of uncertainty and its associated factors(i.e.,usefulness of worry,cognitive avoidance,problem-solving attitude,and ruminations)and performed a Stroop test and an emotional Stroop *** correlations and multiple linear regressions were *** results indicated positive and significant correlations between the emotional Stroop(negative interference index)and intolerance to uncertainty but also with repetitive thoughts(ruminations)and *** regressions showed that depressive symptoms seem to contribute to explaining longer latencies for the interference condition(color word written in another color).*** have been published to improve the management of parents of a childhood cancer survivor,but parent-centered neuropsychological studies are still needed and should be developed to improve prevention and detection initiatives for these families.

This review describes the work of two laboratories in the field of the modification of micro-and mesoporous molecular sieves through reactions with organometallic *** modification of zeolites can occur inside the pore channels or on the external surface,depending on the size of the organometallic *** the modification occurs on the external surface,it results in a decrease of the pore entrance,which will lead in turn to a modification of the sorption properties of the zeolite,by decreasing the rate of the adsorption(mainly by a kinetic control).Such a material can be also used in catalysis,because the external acid sites,which are responsible for side-reactions,have been removed upon *** small organometallic complexes are used,they can fill the channels and cages of the zeolite and react with internal hydroxyl *** to the high acidity of zeolites,the reaction occurs very easily(for example at-100℃ on faujasite),in contrast to what is observed on the external surface,therefore leading to high metal *** that case,the modification of the sorption properties will be mainly related to a thermodynamic *** resulting materials can be useful in catalysis,by combining the activity of the organometallic complex and properties(for example shape-selectivity) of the *** of mesoporous molecular sieves occurs always in the pores and results in altering of the sorption properties of the solid,by changing the interaction type between the sorbent and the *** example the sorption isotherm of alkanes is changed from type II to type III according to the IUPAC nomenclature.

This paper is devoted to the study of the subspace of Wm＇＂ of functions that vanish on a part γ0 of the boundary. The author gives a crucial estimate of the Poincare constant in balls centered on the boundary of γ0. Then, the convolution-translation method, a variant of the standard mollifier technique, can be used to prove the density of smooth functions that vanish in a neighborhood of γ0, in this subspace. The result is first proved for m = 1, then generalized to the case where m 〉 1, in any dimension, in the framework of Lipschitz-continuous domain. However, as may be expected, it is needed to make additional assumptions on the boundary of γ0, namely that it is locally the graph of some Lipschitz-continuous function.

The production and secretion of antibodies by human plasma cells(PCs)are two essential processes of humoral *** secretion process relies on a group of proteins known as soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptors(SNAREs),which are located in the plasma membrane(t-SNAREs)and in the antibody-carrying vesicle membrane(v-SNARE),and mediate the fusion of both *** have previously shown that SNAP23 and STX4 are the t-SNAREs responsible for antibody ***,using human PCs and antibody-secreting cell lines,we studied and characterized the expression and subcellular distribution of vesicle associated membrane protein(VAMP)isoforms,demonstrating that all isoforms(with the exception of VAMP1)are expressed by the referenced ***,the functional role in antibody secretion of each expressed VAMP isoform was tested using *** results show that VAMP2 may be the v-SNARE involved in vesicular antibody *** further support this conclusion,we used tetanus toxin light chain to cleave VAMP2,conducted experiments to verify co-localization of VAMP2 in antibody-carrying vesicles,and demonstrated the coimmunoprecipitation of VAMP2 with STX4 and SNAP23 and the in situ interaction of VAMP2 with *** together,these findings implicate VAMP2 as the main VAMP isoform functionally involved in antibody secretion.
