Impact of Environmental Pressure from Urban Development on the Level of Carbon Emissions in Urban Areas

Due to the increasing and rapid economic and population growth over the past years,urban areas have become the focus of carbon-emission-reduction policies. Meanwhile, they are also continuously subjected to environmental pressure from urban development. Therefore,this study used the STIRPAT model to develop an index to capture the environmental pressure from urban development based on a panel dataset of 284 prefecture cities from 2006 to 2022 in mainland China. Subsequently,a fixed effect model and a quantile regression model were used to test the impact of the environmental pressure from urban development on the level of urban carbon emissions. The results showed a notable relationship between the environmental pressure from urban development and the level of urban carbon emissions. More specifically,for every one-unit increase in the index,the urban carbon emission level increased by 1.4%. This result was found stable after a series of robustness tests. Furthermore,quantile regression showed that before the 50th percentile, the environmental pressure from urban development had a positive impact on the level of urban carbon emissions,whereas after the 50th percentile,it had a negative impact. Finally, heterogeneity analysis indicated that,compared to in large cities,the positive impact of the environmental pressure from urban development on urban carbon emission levels was more significant in small-sized,medium-sized,and megacities. Therefore,it is recommended to continuously optimize the context for business and trading and promote the industrial structure. Carbon emission reduction targets should be differentiated based on development levels of cities. While implementing carbon emission reduction measures in urban areas, population and other conditions should be taken into account. © 2025 Science Press. All rights reserved.

作为边疆社会开展的公益助考活动,宾兴与慈善机构有着类似的发展逻辑和公益性质。清代云南宾兴开展的动因,一方面在于会试盘费政策弊端以及童、乡试中国家资助的缺位,另一方面在于云南士子赴考距离辽远,还面临收取应考费用和陋规的现象。云南宾兴创设采取两种模式,分别为专项基金与附设文教机构,具有小家庭结构特征。作为联结文教治边理念和文教举措的“中层纽带”,宾兴不仅具有推广崇儒尚学之风、净化世风民俗之效,还增加应考人数,惠及广大士子,实际上已通过民众教化和登科入仕缔造国家认同意识,成为维系边疆社会稳定、实现间接治理的有效途径。

Developing a bridge capping layer between perovskite and hole transport layer materials(HTMs)in the n-i-p perovskite solar cells(pero-SCs)is an effective approach to modify the morphology of HTMs and passivate the perovskite ***,we select the quinoxaline-based bifunctional passivation agent,quinoxalin-6-yl-methylamine hydrochloride(Qx MACl),as the bridging layer,and a D-A copolymer PBQ12 containing the same quinoxaline unit as an HTM for the n-i-p *** to theπ-πstacking among the common quinoxaline units in the bridge layer and HTM,Qx MACl induces theπ-πstacking of the PBQ12 film and improves the film morphology of HTMs with better ***,Qx MACl can effectively passivate the perovskite surface,and PBQ12 possesses appropriate energy levels and high hole *** pero-SCs based on FAPbI_(3)with PBQ12/Qx MACl treatment showed a higher power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 24.05%and outstanding stability,maintaining 95.4%and 92.1%of its initial PCE after 750 h of storage and after over 800 h of thermal annealing at 85℃,*** further enhance the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices,we developed a non-metal ion dopant for the PBQ12 *** trace doping of PBQ12 HTM by the non-metal ion dopant,the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices reached 25.24%(the calibrated PCE of 24.55%by the National Institute of Metrology,China).

1857年爆发的印度起义引起了马克思的高度关注。在撰写有关印度起义问题的系列文章中,马克思认为印度人民反对英国殖民统治的起义对于殖民者来说是一种“报应”,而锻造报应工具的正是殖民者自身。这种“报应”主要体现在三个方面:一是英国殖民者为征服和统治印度而建立的土著军队却成为反抗殖民统治的核心力量;二是西帕依在起义中的“暴行”是对英国殖民者在印度所作所为的集中反映;三是英国占领印度的开支可能到了从殖民统治印度的收入无论如何也难以补偿的数目。在殖民主义思维仍未消退、霸权主义和霸凌行径大行其道的当下,回顾马克思的上述评论,对于促进世界的和平安宁具有重要的现实启示意义。

With a broad range of application prospects,hydrogen fuel cell technology is regarded as a clean and efficient energy conversion ***,challenges exist in terms of the safe storage and transportation of *** proposed solution to this problem is the utilization of methanol on-line steam reforming technology for hydrogen *** this paper,an integrated system for in-situ steam reforming of fuel coupled with proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFC) power generation is proposed,and sensitivity analysis and exergy sensitivity analysis are *** the gradual utilization of waste heat and the integration of the system,fuel consumption is reduced and the power generation efficiency of the system is *** the design operating conditions,the power generation efficiency and exergy efficiency of the system are achieved at 44.59% and 39.70%,*** study presents a proven method for the efficient integration of fuel thermochemical conversion for hydrogen production with fuel cells for power generation,highlighting the advantages of complementary utilization of methanol steam reforming and PEMFC.

ObjectiveTo assess the cardioprotective effect and impact of Qishen Granules (QSG) on different ischemic areas of the myocardium in heart failure (HF) rats by evaluating its metabolic pattern, substrate utilization, and mechanistic modulation. MethodsIn vivo, echocardiography and histology were used to assess rat cardiac function;positron emission tomography was performed to assess the abundance of glucose metabolism in the ischemic border and remote areas of the heart;fatty acid metabolism and ATP production levels were assessed by hematologic and biochemical analyses. The above experiments evaluated the cardioprotective effect of QSG on left anterior descending ligation-induced HF in rats and the mode of energy metabolism modulation. In vitro, a hypoxia-induced H9C2 model was established, mitochondrial damage was evaluated by flow cytometry, and nuclear translocation of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1 alpha) was observed by immunofluorescence to assess the mechanism of energy metabolism regulation by QSG in hypoxic and normoxia conditions. ResultsQSG regulated the pattern of glucose and fatty acid metabolism in the border and remote areas of the heart via the HIF-1 alpha pathway, and improved cardiac function in HF rats. Specifically, QSG promoted HIF-1 alpha expression and entry into the nucleus at high levels of hypoxia (P<0.05), thereby promoting increased compensatory glucose metabolism;while reducing nuclear accumulation of HIF-1 alpha at relatively low levels of hypoxia (P<0.05), promoting the increased lipid metabolism. ConclusionsQSG regulates the protein stability of HIF-1 alpha, thereby coordinating energy supply balance between the ischemic border and remote areas of the myocardium. This alleviates the energy metabolism disorder caused by ischemic injury.

In view of the series of problems found in the rural collective economic audit in Zhangdian District of Zibo City in the past five years,this study used empirical research methods to deeply analyze the current situation and existing problems of the village collective audit *** this basis,typical cases were selected for in-depth analysis,the effects of different audit modes were compared,and the reliable paths to improve the efficiency of village collective audit were studied and *** results show that the social governance strategy plays a positive role in improving the efficiency of village collective *** study is expected to provide a reference for the improvement of village collective audit efficiency,and is of great significance to improve the village collective financial management and promote the improvement of the rural governance system.
