Parkinson's disease(PD) has a complex and multifactorial pathophysiology. Various studies, conducted both in pre-clinical models and PD patients, have reported a link between the disruption of calcium(Ca^(2+)) homeostasis and the subsequent development of PD. Ca^(2+) regulation is crucial for neuronal survival, differentiation,exocytosis at synapses,gene transcription,and proliferation.

In recent years,with rapid increases in the number of vehicles in China,the contribution of vehicle exhaust emissions to air pollution has become increasingly prominent.To achieve the precise control of emissions,on-road remote sensing(RS)technology has been developed and applied for law enforcement and supervision.However,data quality is still an existing issue affecting the development and application of RS.In this study,the RS data from a cross-road RS system used at a single site(from 2012 to 2015)were collected,the data screening process was reviewed,the issues with data quality were summarized,a new method of data screening and calibration was proposed,and the effectiveness of the improved data quality control methods was finally evaluated.The results showed that this method reduces the skewness and kurtosis of the data distribution by up to nearly 67%,which restores the actual characteristics of exhaust diffusion and is conducive to the identification of actual clean and high-emission vehicles.The annual variability of emission factors of nitric oxide decreases by 60%-on average-eliminating the annual drift of fleet emissions and improving data reliability.

The mechanism of phthalic acid,a dicarboxylic acid collector,in flotation separation of fluorite and rare earth(RE)was studied in this paper.The experimental data of flotation show that phthalic acid,as the collector,can realize highly efficient separation of fluorite and rare earth under weakly acidic conditions.The adsorption mechanism of phthalic acid on the surface of fluorite and bastnaesite was analyzed in this paper by means of the zeta potential measurement,the Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and the stability constant measurement of active metal ion and phthalic acid coo rdination complex.According to the zeta potential testing results,the surfaces of fluorite adsorb the collector phthalate ion with negative charge under weakly acidic conditions which,in turn,increases its electronegativity and results in the motion of its potential.After the reaction between phthalic acid and fluorite ores under weakly acidic conditions,the peak of the fluorite ores is found to have significant changes in the FT-IR results,indicating strong chemical adsorption on the surfaces of phthalic acid and fluorite ores.According to the XPS analysis,the peak of benzene ring of phthalic acid is as high as 2%on the surface of fluorite,while no obvious characteristic peak of benzene ring is found on the surface of bastnaesite.According to the pH potentiometric titration results,the stability constant Ktotal of calcium phthalate complex within the acid range is higher than the stability constant K’total of cerium phthalate complex,indicating that the complex generated between phthalic acid and Ca^(2+)is more stable than the complex generated between phthalic acid and Ce^(3+).The possible reason is that Ca^(2+),with the highest reticular density,plays a prevailing role in the octahedron structure of fluorite amidst the acidic media.As the active point of flotation,Ca^(2+)works with the carboxyl groups of the collector phthalic acid(-C=O-)to form polycyclic calcium phthalate complex.

MoS_(2) is a promising anode material in sodium-ion battery technologies for possessing high theoretical capacity.However,the sluggish Na^(+) diffusion kinetics and low electronic conductivity hinder the promises.Herein,a unique MoS_(2)/FeS_(2)/C heterojunction with abundant defects and hollow structure(MFCHHS)was constructed.The synergy of defect engineering in MoS_(2),FeS_(2),and the carbon layer of MFCHHS with a larger specific surface area provides multiple storage sites of Na^(+)corresponding to the surface-controlled process.The MoS_(2)/FeS_(2)/C heterostructure and rich defects in MoS_(2) and carbon layer lower the Na^(+) diffusion energy barrier.Additionally,the construction of MoS_(2)/FeS_(2) heterojunction promotes electron transfer at the interface,accompanying with excellent conductivity of the carbon layer to facilitate reversible electrochemical reactions.The abundant defects and mismatches at the interface of MoS_(2)/FeS_(2) and MoS_(2)/C heterojunctions could relieve lattice stress and volume change sequentially.As a result,the MFCHHS anode exhibits the high capacity of 613.1 ma h g^(-1)at 0.5 A g^(-1) and 306.1 ma h g^(-1) at 20 A g^(-1).The capacity retention of 85.0%after 1400 cycles at 5.0 A g^(-1) is achieved.The density functional theory(DFT)calculation and in situ transmission electron microscope(TEM),Raman,ex-situ X-ray photon spectroscopy(XPS)studies confirm the low volume change during intercalation/deintercalation process and the efficient Na^(+)storage in the layered structure of MoS_(2) and carbon layer,as well as the defects and heterostructures in MFCHHS.We believe this work could provide an inspiration for constructing heterojunction with abundant defects to foster fast electron and Na^(+) diffusion kinetics,resulting in excellent rate capability and cycling stability.

针对现有图像去雾方法对不同雾浓度的雾处理不完善、颜色失真、细节恢复不佳等问题,提出一种基于自适应Transformer的单图像去雾方法。该方法包括编码器、自适应Transformer、解码器三个模块。编码器将输入的图像进行局部特征提取,得到细节特征。为更好地对不同雾浓度进行提取,提出自适应Transformer,自适应Transformer可以在提取全局特征的基础上,自适应提取不同尺度颗粒雾度特征。解码器用于图像进行恢复与重建。该方法在SOTS室外测试集进行实验,其PSNR为27.45 dB,SSIM为0.954 6,与对比方法中最高的相比分别提高0.43 dB和0.005 3,从而验证出该方法取得了较好的客观结果。此外主观方面去雾图像有效改善了颜色失真,以及不同雾浓度处理不理想的问题。

It is especially important to coordinately design the structure and composition of the host in lithium–sulfur batteries(LSBs)for improving its physicochemical adsorption and conversion of lithium polysulfide,which can alleviate the harmful shuttle effect.Herein,a self-supporting multichannel nitrogen-doped carbon fibers membrane embedded with TiO nanoparticles(TiO@NC)was constructed as the electrode for LSBs.The inner channels and the embedded TiO nanoparticles offer spatial confinement and chemical binding for polysulfides,respectively.Moreover,the TiO nanoparticles have abundant oxygen vacancies that promote the conversion of polysulfides.In addition,the nitrogen-doped carbon skeleton can not only serve as highly conductive transportation paths for electrons,but also integrate with the inner channels to sustain the morphology and bear volume expansion during cycling processes.Therefore,the fabricated self-supporting quadruple-channel TiO@NC ultrathin fibers electrode exhibits a high initial specific capacity of 1342.8 mah g^(-1)at 0.5 C and high-rate capability of 505.8 mah g^(-1)at 4.0 C.In addition,it maintains 696.0 mah g^(-1)over 500 cycles with only 0.059%capacity decay per cycle at the high current density of 2.0 C.The multichannel configuration combined with TiO nanoparticles provides a synergetic design strategy for fabricating high-performance electrodes in LSBs.

Synthesis and antiviral activity of some novel indole-2-carboxylate derivatives

A series of novel indole-2-carboxylate derivatives were synthesized and assayed to determine their in vitro broad-spectrum antiviral activities.The biological results showed that some of the synthesized compounds exhibited potent broad-spectrum antiviral activity.Notably,compound 8f showed the highest SI value(17.1)to Cox B3 virus.Compound 14f showed both potent inhibitory activity against influenza A(IC_(50)=7.53μmol/L)and the highest SI value(12.1).SAR results showed that the alkyloxy at the 4-position of indole ring was not crucial to the antiviral activities.Incorporation of an acetyl substituent at the amino group disfavored antiviral activity towards RNA viruses.

The influence of temperature on rare earth flotation with naphthyl hydroxamic acid

The influence of temperature on the complex process of Bayan Obo rare earth （RE） ore flotation with a collector of naphthyl hydroxamic acid （LF8#） was investigated. Industrial test data shows that the grade and recovery of RE increase with the temperature. However, the proportion of bastnaesite in the bulk concentrate increases as the RE grade improves. Adsorption mechanism of LF8# on the surfaces of bastnaesite and monazite were confirmed via zeta potential, UV]Vis Spectrophotometer （UV]Vis）, Fourier transform infrared （FIR）, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses （XPS）. Although the results indicate that the total amount of the LF8# adsorption on the surface of bastnaesite and monazite de- creases with increasing the temperature, the amount of stable adsorbed predominance of characteristic bonds （-C（~O）N-] from LF8# uptake on bastnaesite surfaces increases significantly at high tempera- tures. This conclusion indicates that the adsorption stability increases with increasing the temperature. For monazite, the amount of characteristic elements C and N in LF8# does not increase as the temper- ature increases on the mineral surface, but the proportion of characteristic bonds increases, which shows that the adsorption stability of LF8# on the surface of monazite also increases, but it is not as significant as bastnaesite, which may be one of the reasons that the floatability of bastnaesite is better than those of monazite. Pulp dispersion results show that the temperature improve the dispersions of both the gangue and RE minerals. This improved the flotation selectivity so that it favored RE minerals. The calculated bubble size distribution confirms that higher temperatures generate smaller bubbles, thereby increasing the bubble-particle collision probability and the recovery of RE minerals.

As a leading cause of respiratory disease, influenza A virus(IAV) presents a pandemic threat in annual seasonal outbreaks. Given the limitation of existing anti-influenza therapies, there remains to be a requirement for new drugs. Compound Yi-Zhi-Hao pellet(CYZH) is a famous traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) used in the clinic, whose formula has been recorded in Complication of National Standard for Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat common cold. In this study, we found that CYZH exhibited a broad-spectrum anti-influenza activity and inhibited the expression of viral RNA and proteins in vitro. Mechanistically, CYZH had no inhibitory activities against viral protein hemagglutinin and IAV RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. Instead, it induced activation of erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2) and nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB), which subsequently upregulated heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) expression.Also, CYZH protected cells from oxidative damage induced by reactive oxygen series. In conclusions,CYZH inhibits IAV replication in vitro, at least partly by activating expression of the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.
