This study delves into the intricate relationship between iron(Fe)content in kaolinite and its impact on the adsorption behavior of sodium *** effects of different iron concentrations on adsorption energy,hydrogen bond kinetics and adsorption efficiency were studied through simulation and experimental *** results show that the presence of iron in the kaolinite structure significantly improves the adsorption capacity of sodium *** samples with high iron content have better adsorption properties,lower adsorption energy levels and shorter and stronger hydrogen bonds than pure *** optimal concentration of oleic acid ions for achieving maximum adsorption efficiency was identified as 1.2 mmol/L across different kaolinite *** this concentration,the adsorption rates and capacities reach their peak,with Fe-enriched kaolinite samples exhibiting notably higher flotation recovery *** optimal concentration represents a balance between sufficient oleic acid ion availability for surface interactions and the prevention of self-aggregation phenomena that could hinder *** study offers promising avenues for optimizing the flotation process in mineral processing applications.

Energy for water heating accounts for an increasing part in residential energy demand in China. An extensive survey was conducted to analyze the determinants of household energy choices for water heaters among residents in Nanjing, China. Two sets of variables were examined as potential influences： building features and household socio-economic characteristics. Results suggest that building features such as gas availability and building structures, and household characteristics such as household head＇s education degree and energy-conserving sense are crucial determinants in choosing natural gas as water heater energy. Installation permission for solar water heater, building stories, and residential location serve as determining factors in choosing solar water heaters. Based on these, barriers and opportunities are discussed for transitions toward cleaner water heating energies, and suggestions are given for local governments to promote cleaner energy replacement in China.

A simple and rapid dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction(DLLME)technique coupled with gas chromatography–ion trap mass spectrometry(GC–MS)was developed for the extraction and analysis of methamphetamine(MA),pethidine(PD),ketamine(KT)and tramadol(TD)from human *** this study,different parameters affecting the extraction process such as the type and volume of extraction solvent,type and volume of disperser solvent,extraction time and pH value and salt effect were studied and *** optimized conditions,the enrichment factor ranged from 185 to 226 and the average recovery ranged from 80.45%to 95.55%.The linear range was 10.0–1000.0 mg/L,the limit of detection and quantitation were in the range 0.43–1.96 mg/L and 1.44–6.53 mg/L,*** relative standard deviations were in the range 1.98%–3.90%(n=7).The obtained results show that DLLME combined with GC–MS is a fast and simple method for the determination of MA,PD,KT and TD in human urine.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide （NAD） biosynthesis, including synthesis from aspartate via the de novo pathway and from nicotinate （NA） via the Preiss-Handler pathway, is conserved in land plants. Diverse spe-cies of NA conjugates, which are mainly involved in NA detoxification, were also found in all tested land plants. Among these conjugates, MeNA （NA methyl ester） has been widely detected in angiosperm plants, although its physiological function and the underlying mechanism for its production in planta remain largely unknown. Here, we show that MeNA is an NAD precursor undergoing more efficient long-distance trans-port between organs than NA and nicotinamide in Arabidopsis. We found that Arabidopsis has one meth- yltransferase （designated AtNaMT1） capable of catalyzing carboxyl methylation of NA to yield MeNA and one methyl esterase （MES2） predominantly hydrolyzing MeNA back to NA. We further uncovered that the transfer of [^14C]MeNA from the root to leaf was significantly increased in both MES2 knockdown and NaMTl-overexpressing lines, suggesting that both NaMT1 and MES2 fine-tune the long-distance transport of MeNA, which is ultimately utilized for NAD production. Abiotic stress （salt, abscisic acid, and mannitol） treatments, which are known to exacerbate NAD degradation, induce the expression of NaMT1 but sup-press MES2 expression, suggesting that MeNA may play a role in stress adaption. Collectively, our study indicates that reversible methylation of NA controls the biosynthesis of MeNA in Arabidopsis, which pre-sumably functions as a detoxification form of free NA for efficient long-distance transport and eventually NAD production especially under abiotic stress, providing new insights into the relationship between NAD biosynthesis and NA conjugation in plants.

背景:心肌损伤修复过程涉及复杂的细胞和分子机制,尤其是线粒体钙稳态、巨噬细胞的自噬与焦亡途径。中药在改善心肌损伤方面有显著的临床疗效,但其作用机制尚需深入研究。目的:探讨线粒体钙稳态介导的巨噬细胞自噬与焦亡途径在心肌损伤中的作用,并总结中药在这一领域的研究进展。方法:计算机检索Web of Science、PubMed及中国知网等数据库,从建库至2024年3月的相关文献。中文检索词为“线粒体钙稳态,巨噬细胞自噬,巨噬细胞焦亡,中药,心肌损伤,心肌损伤再灌注”等;英文检索词为“Mitochondrial calcium homeostasis,Macrophage autophagy,Macrophage pyroptosis,Traditional Chinese medicine,Myocardial injury”等。通过文献回顾分析线粒体钙稳态与巨噬细胞自噬、焦亡之间的关系,探究其在心肌损伤中的作用机制,总结中药多靶点、多通路影响的途径。结果与结论:①研究发现,线粒体钙稳态的维持与心肌细胞功能的正常运转密切相关。巨噬细胞可通过自噬与焦亡途径参与心肌损伤的修复过程,自噬有助于细胞的清除和炎症反应的调节,而焦亡则可通过释放炎症因子影响心肌修复。②中医药通过多种机制调节线粒体钙稳态和巨噬细胞功能,如黄芪甲苷通过降低线粒体膜电位和抑制细胞色素C来调节钙稳态,淫羊藿苷通过减少β-淀粉样蛋白沉积来发挥作用;中药复方和单味药物通过激活或抑制特定的信号通路,如PI3K/AKT、核因子κB等通路来促进心肌损伤的修复。③未来的研究应关注线粒体钙稳态、自噬与焦亡途径的相互作用,以及中药如何通过这些途径发挥治疗作用,为心肌损伤的治疗提供新的策略和药物。

The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)plays an important role in plant growth and development,for example in seed dormancy and germination,as well as in plant responses to environmental stresses,such as drought and high *** studies have shown that ABA regulates the expression of genes with an ABA-responsive element(ABRE)and their corresponding physiological *** analysis identified a GRAM domain-containing gene family that has a multiple ABRE cis-element,which was termed the ABA-responsive protein(ABR)*** analyze the function of the ABR family,we identified homozygous T-DNA insertion mutants and constructed abr1,2,3 double mutants and triple *** abr1,abr2 and abr3single mutants showed a normal phenotype;however,the germination of seeds of the double mutants and triple mutant were insensitive to ABA,NaCl,mannitol and ***1-GFP was distributed as a punctate structure in the cytosol and may be localized in the endomembrane *** ABR2-GFP and ABR3-GFP proteins localized in the *** addition,ABR1,ABR2 and ABR3 were expressed in various tissues,and could be induced by several abiotic stresses,especially by *** expressions of these genes were significantly suppressed in aba2,abi1 and abi2 null *** results suggested that the ABR family may act downstream of ABI1 and ABI2 in the ABA signal transduction process in plants.

Analysis on Sequence and Elements of Cucumisin Promoter

Abstract Leaves of melon were collected and extracted by the CTAB method for total DNA which was used for PCR amplification, obtaining the gene sequence of cucumisin promoter. The sequence results were processed and analyzed with DNAman, DNAstar and other softwares, and bioinformatic element analysis was performed with PlantCARE and PLACE. The analysis results showed that the cucumisin promoter shared 100%, 99% and 99% homology with AY055805, LN713264 and LN681897, respectively. The promoter sequence contains a variety of c/s-acting elements common in fruit promoters of higher plants such as TATA-Box and CAAT-Box, and light-responsive elements, some of which involved in ABA and VP1 responsiveness and salicylic acid responsiveness. This study provides a scien- tific basis for further research on genetic engineering of fruits.
