Beige fat,a newly discovered adipose tissue featuring high functional flexibility,exhibits the characteristics of white fat at rest,but can be activated to function like brown fat under cold or β-adrenergic stimulation via a process termed‘browning of white fat’.This activation enables beige fat to greatly promote heat production and energy consumption,as well as to improve systemic glucose and lipid metabolism.Beige fat also exists in supraclavicular and paraspinal regions in human adults,which endows its great potential forintervention ofobesityandmetabolic diseases.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether female sub-health conditions and reproductive diseases areassociated with pregnancies and labors.METHODS: A cross-sectional survey was performed by using a structured questionnaire. A total of 1343 women aged 35 years or younger in six urban areas of Chengdu were included in the study.According to the Screening Criteria of sub-health conditions, these women were categorized into three groups: postpartum healthy group,sub-healthy group, and reproductive disease group. Data were double-entered using EpiData and the nanalyzed by SPSS.RESULTS: Pregnancy and labor were correlated with postpartum sub-health conditions. The number of pregnancies was negatively correlated with women's postnatal health but was positively correlated with the incidence of postpartum reproductive diseases.CONCLUSION: The number of pregnancies and labors is probably an important factor leading to sub-health conditions and the occurrence of reproductive diseases in women. Avoiding or reducing unwanted pregnancies and labors, enhancing the awareness of health among child bearing-age women are effective measures for preventing sub-health conditions.

Background:The development and prognosis of breast cancer are intricately linked to psychological stress.In addition,depression is the most common psychological comorbidity among breast cancer survivors,and reportedly,Fang-Xia-Dihuang decoction(FXDH)can effectively manage depression in such patients.However,its pharmacological and molecular mechanisms remain obscure.Methods:Public databases were used for obtaining active components and related targets.Main active components were further verified by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-high-resolution mass spectrometry(UPLC-HRMS).Protein–protein interaction and enrichment analyses were taken to predict potential hub targets and related pathways.Molecule docking was used to understand the interactions between main compounds and hub targets.In addition,an animal model of breast cancer combined with depression was established to evaluate the intervention effect of FXDH and verify the pathways screened by network pharmacology.Results:174 active components of FXDH and 163 intersection targets of FXDH,breast cancer,and depression were identified.Quercetin,methyl ferulate,luteolin,ferulaldehyde,wogonin,and diincarvilone were identified as the principal active components of FXDH.Protein–protein interaction and KEGG enrichment analyses revealed that the phosphoinositide-3-kinase–protein kinase B(PI3K/AKT)and Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription(JAK2/STAT3)signaling pathways played a crucial role in mediating the efficacy of FXDH for inhibiting breast cancer progression induced by depression.In addition,in vivo experiments revealed that FXDH ameliorated depression-like behavior in mice and inhibited excessive tumor growth in mice with breast cancer and depression.FXDH treatment downregulated the expression of epinephrine,PI3K,AKT,STAT3,and JAK2 compared with the control treatment(p<0.05).Molecular docking verified the relationship between the six primary components of FXDH and the three most important targets,including phosphatidylinositol-4

Investigation on microstructure and internal friction for low density TiB_2/ZL114 composites

TiB2/ZL114 composites with the density of 2.733 g/cm^3 were fabricated through reaction of K2TiF4 and KBF4 （LSM method）. The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscope （SEM）. The internal friction measurements were performed on DTM-II-J dynamic modulus damping analyzer and the mechanisms were investigated. Experimental results indicate that reinforced particles are well-distributed in the matrix and the internal friction value of TiB2/ZL114 composites is up to a maximum of 9.04×10^-3, almost twice that of ZL114. The internal friction results form dislocation vibration within the material, the sliding of grain boundary and phase interface, and together with the micro-plastic deformation caused by difference in coefficients of thermal expansion and elasticity modulus of various phases. The average internal friction values of samples with the sizes of 40 mm×4 mm×2 mm, 40 mm×8 mm×2 mm and 40 mm×25 mm×2 mm are 8.83 ×10^-3, 8.89 × 10^-3, and 8.93× 10^-3, respectively. Thus, the developed composites are of low density, high internal friction, and the sizes of samples have no relation to the internal friction behavior.

Herein,we use an oxidation flow reactor,Gothenburg:Potential Aerosol Mass(Go:PAM)reactor,to investigate the secondary organic aerosol(SOA)formation from wheat straw burning.Biomass burning emissions are exposed to high concentrations of hydroxyl radicals(OH)to simulate processes equivalent to atmospheric oxidation of 0-2.55 days.Primary volatile organic compounds(VOCs)were investigated,and particles were measured before and after the Go:PAM reactor.The influence of water content(i.e.5%and 11%)in wheat straw was also explored.Two burning stages,the flaming stage,and non-flaming stages,were identified.Primary particle emission factors(EFs)at a water content of 11%(~3.89 g/kg-fuel)are significantly higher than those at a water content of 5%(~2.26 g/kg-fuel)during the flaming stage.However,the water content showed no significant influence at the non-flaming stage.EFs of aromatics at a non-flaming stage(321.8±46.2 mg/kg-fuel)are larger than that at a flaming stage(130.9±37.1 mg/kg-fuel).The OA enhancement ratios increased with the increase in OH exposure at first and decreased with the additional increment of OH exposure.The maximum OA enhancement ratio is~12 during the non-flaming stages,which is much higher than~1.7 during the flaming stages.The mass spectrum of the primary wheat burning organic aerosols closely resembles that of resolved biomass burning organic aerosols(BBOA)based on measurements in ambient air.Our results show that large gap(0%-90%)still remains to estimate biomass burning SOA if only the oxidation of VOCs were included.

目前我国关闭企业遗留污染场地挤占了大量土地资源,潜在风险极高,需要在进行生态修复后,才能重新开发利用.在当前我国污染治理要求全链接担责的背景下,属地政府通过对违法行为的“严惩重罚”一定程度上可消弭关闭企业治污意愿的缺失,但因成本和技术约束,需要引入第三方参与治理,可能导致信息不对称下企业间合谋行为的发生.为此,研究基于属地政府、关闭企业和第三方生态修复企业的多重委托代理关系,分析了是否存在企业间合谋行为的三方主体利益博弈,构建了基于全链接担责的关闭企业遗留污染场地第三方治理激励模型.研究表明:1)属地政府是否实施企业合谋惩罚取决于生态修复企业的治污努力边际成本和应对风险的能力;2)适当的生态修复标准、强大的企业应对外部环境风险能力,不仅可以有效地激励企业治污,还能防范合谋;3)过于严苛的惩罚并不会带来约束效果的明显提升,运用市场激励、公众参与监督机制,可实现各主体利益均衡.

Chemical characterization and source apportionment of atmospheric submicron particles on the western coast of Taiwan Strait, China

Taiwan Strait is a special channel for subtropical East Asian Monsoon and its western coast is an important economic zone in China. In this study, a suburban site in the city of Xiamen on the western coast of Taiwan Strait was selected for fine aerosol study to improve the understanding of air pollution sources in this region. An Aerodyne high-resolution time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer（HR-To F-AMS） and an Aethalometer were deployed to measure fine aerosol composition with a time resolution of 5 min from May 1to 18, 2015. The average mass concentration of PM1 was 46.2 ± 26.3 μg/m^3 for the entire campaign. Organics（28.3%）, sulfate（24.9%）, and nitrate（20.6%） were the major components in the fine particles, followed by ammonium, black carbon（BC）, and chloride. Evolution of nitrate concentration and size distribution indicated that local NOx emissions played a key role in high fine particle pollution in Xiamen. In addition, organic nitrate was found to account for 9.0%–13.8% of the total measured nitrate. Positive Matrix Factorization（PMF）conducted with high-resolution organic mass spectra dataset differentiated the organic aerosol into three components, including a hydrocarbon-like organic aerosol（HOA） and two oxygenated organic aerosols（SV-OOA and LV-OOA）, which on average accounted for 27.6%,28.8%, and 43.6% of the total organic mass, respectively. The relationship between the mass concentration of submicron particle species and wind further confirmed that all major fine particle species were influenced by both strong local emissions in the southeastern area of Xiamen and regional transport through the Taiwan Strait.

桥跨布置对连续梁桥上轨道地震响应影响规律研究

为探讨桥跨结构布置关键参数对梁轨系统地震相互作用影响规律,基于梁轨相互作用原理,采用地震碰撞大质量法建立非线性约束的桥梁与轨道相互作用有限元模型,分析地震碰撞作用下连续梁桥上无缝线路受力,研究线路纵向阻力、相邻简支梁桥跨数以及支座非顺序布置形式等关键设计参数的桥跨结构布置方式对结构地震响应的影响。研究结果表明:大跨度连续梁上设计钢轨强度检算困难时需采用小阻力扣件方案,地震影响下建议采用仅连续梁范围铺设小阻力扣件,使结构受力及位移均保持在较小限度内。钢轨伸缩调节器是无缝线路中薄弱环节,会引起轨道不平顺,应尽量减少钢轨伸缩调节器的使用,确需设置调节器时,建议仅在连续梁活动端设置,必要时可在对侧边跨及相邻一孔跨简支梁同时铺设小阻力扣件。地震分析时可按连续梁两侧接8跨简支梁进行地震作用简化计算,随着连续梁跨度的增大,钢轨受力大幅增加,两侧相邻一孔跨简支梁落梁几率增加。桥台路基填筑优良时,可将相邻简支梁固定支座靠近连续梁布置,通过减小温度跨度均衡梁轨结构受力与变形。当桥台路基地质不良时,可将简支梁活动支座设置在桥台处,以大幅减小桥台受力。
