This paper mainly studied how to determine the best location of the self-operated flow control valve at the heating system *** the location of regulating valve directly affects the pipe network performance,the simulation and analysis of pressure change in heating system was carried out with Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)*** study shows the best location of regulating valve varies with the change of the supply and return pipe length when the heating area of each user is small,and when the heating area of each user is large(2 000 000～3 000 000 m2),the best location is on the supply pipe.

Copper is a microelement with important physiological functions in the ***,the excess copper ion(Cu^(2+))may cause severe health problems,such as hair cell apoptosis and the resultant hearing ***,the assay of Cu^(2+)is *** integrate ionic imprinting technology(IIT)and structurally colored hydrogel beads to prepare chitosan-based ionically imprinted hydrogel beads(IIHBs)as a low-cost and high-specificity platform for Cu^(2+)*** IIHBs have a macroporous microstructure,uniform size,vivid structural color,and magnetic *** incubated in solution,IIHBs recognize Cu^(2+)and exhibit a reflective peak change,thereby achieving label-free *** addition,benefiting from the IIT,the IIHBs display good specificity and selectivity and have an imprinting factor of 19.14 at 100μmol·L^(-1).These features indicated that the developed IIHBs are promising candidates for Cu^(2+)detection,particularly for the prevention of hearing loss.

A trajectory imaging based method for measuring the velocity and diameter of coal particles was *** using an industrial charge-coupled device(CCD)camera and a low power semiconductor laser,the images of coal particles under relatively long exposure time were recorded and then processed to yield both the velocities and *** research on this method with special attention to recording parameters,e.g.,magnification factor and exposure time,was carried *** most of the test cases,the results agree with those obtained by particle image velocimetry(PIV)and shadow imaging *** with good accuracy can be obtained when the imaging magnification factor and exposure time are set appropriately,making N be larger than 3.5,and R between 5-7,where N and R are the number of pixels occupied by the average width and the ratio of length to width of particle trajectory on the image,*** work indicates the feasibility and potential application of the present measurement method for online measurement of coal powder in pipes in industrial power plants.

Southwest China is a tectonically and seismically active region,witnessing strong deformation due to the collision between the Indian and Eurasian *** the subsurface velocity structure of this region is thus important in understanding the tectonics and geodynamic processes of continental collision and in mitigating seismic *** studies have provided various 3D seismic velocity models in southwest ***,discrepancies exist among these models,and less effort has been made to quantify the reliability and accuracy of these existing velocity *** this study,we use regional 3D waveform simulation to evaluate the performance of various regional crustal 3D velocity models in reproducing observed *** particularly focus on two recent earthquake sequence in the region,the 2021 Yunnan Yangbi MS_(6.4) earthquake sequence and the 2022 Sichuan Luding MS_(6.8) earthquake *** tested 3D velocity models include the Southwest China Community Velocity model V1.0,the Unified Seismic Tomography Models for Continental China Lithosphere V2.0,the adjoint full waveform tomography model of the crustal and upper mantle beneath Eastern Tibetan Plateau,and the shallow seismic structure model beneath continental *** results show that the tested 3D velocity models generally capture well long-period(<0.2 Hz)waveforms,indicating that the 3D models adequately resolve overall large-scale subsurface ***,the 3D synthetics show discrepancies in higher frequencies(0.05–0.3 Hz)and the performance of the 3D velocity models varies from region to region,suggesting that smaller scale heterogeneities are not well *** shallow velocity structures(<10 km)can improve the waveform fitting,emphasizing the importance of incorporating shallow structures in waveform *** full-waveform tomography model shows a slighter better performance than the other models,especially for the body-waves,highlighting the advantages

Polysaccharide-based membranes with excellent mechanical properties are highly desired. However, severe mechanical deterioration under wet conditions limits their biomedical applications. Here, inspired by the structural heterogeneity of strong yet hydrated biological materials, we propose a strategy based on heterogeneous crosslink-and-hydration（HCH） of a molecule/nano dual-scale network to fabricate polysaccharide-based nanocomposites with robust wet mechanical properties. The heterogeneity lies in that the crosslink-and-hydration occurs in the molecule-network while the stress-bearing nanofiber-network remains unaffected. As one demonstration, a membrane assembled by bacterial cellulose nanofiber-network and Ca2+-crosslinked and hydrated sodium alginate molecule-network is designed. Studies show that the crosslinked-and-hydrated molecule-network restricts water invasion and boosts stress transfer of the nanofiber-network by serving as interfibrous bridge. Overall, the molecule-network makes the membrane hydrated and flexible; the nanofiber-network as stress-bearing component provides strength and *** HCH dual-scale network featuring a cooperative effect stimulates the design of advanced biomaterials applied under wet conditions such as guided bone regeneration membranes.

A two-step multi-frequency receiver function inversion method for shallow crustal S-wave velocity structure and its application across the basin-mountain range belts in Northeast China

A shallow crustal velocity structure(above 10 km depth) is essential for understanding the crustal structures and deformation and assessing the exploration prospect of natural resources, and also provides priori information for imaging deeper crustal and mantle structure. Passive-source seismic methods are cost-effective and advantageous for regional-scale imaging of shallow crustal structures compared to active-source methods. Among these passive methods, techniques utilizing receiver function waveforms and/or body-wave amplitude ratios have recently gained prominence due to their relatively high spatial resolution. However, in basin regions, reverberations caused by near-surface unconsolidated sedimentary layers often introduce strong non-uniqueness and uncertainty, limiting the applicability of such methods. To address these challenges, we propose a two-step inversion method that uses multi-frequency P-RF waveforms and P-RF horizontal-to-vertical amplitude ratios. Synthetic tests indicate that our two-step inversion method can mitigate the non-uniqueness of the inversion and enhance the stability of the results. Applying this method to teleseismic data from a linear seismic array across the sedimentary basins in Northeast China, we obtain a high-resolution image of the shallow crustal S-wave velocity structure along the array. Our results reveal significant differences between the basins and mountains. The identification of low-velocity anomalies(<2.8 km s^(-1)) at depths less than 1.0 km beneath the Erlian Basin and less than 2.5 km beneath the Songliao Basin suggests the existence of sedimentary layers. Moreover, the high-velocity anomalies(~3.4–3.8 km s^(-1)) occurring at depths greater than 7 km in the Songliao Basin may reflect mafic intrusions emplaced during the Early Cretaceous. Rehabilitation Effect of Systematic Exercise on Breast Cancer Patients after Adjuvant Chemotherapy

OBJECTIVE To investigate the rehabilitation e. ect of systematic exercise on breast cancer patients a er adjuvant *** One hundred and ten subjects were randomly divided into 2 groups. The patients in the control group received original exercise. The others in the intervention group received systematic exercise including aerobics and 24 postures of Taichi for 4 months besides the original *** After the systematic exercise, the limb muscle strength, maximal oxygen uptake and lung capacity of the patients in intervention group were increased compared with those before the systematic exercise （P 〈 0.05）. The lung capacity of patients in the intervention group was signifi cantly increased than the control group after the exercise （P 〈 0.05）. The body mass index （BMI）,the ratio of waist and hip （WHR） of the patients in intervention group were decreased compared with those before the systematic exercise （P 〈 0.05）. The bone mineral density of control group was decreased comparing with pre-exercise （P 〈 0.05）, but there was no signifi cant di. erence in the intervention group between pre-exercise and pro-exercise （P 〉 0.05）. There was no significant dierence in the quality of life between the 2 groups a er the systematic exercise （P 〉 0.05）.CONCLUSION Systematic exercise can not only promote the restoration of limb function in patients with breast cancer after treatments, but also improve pulmonary function of the patients and lower the BMI and WHR of the patients. Systematic exercisecan improve the outcomes of overall rehabilitation.
