Modification of Maxwell model for conductivity prediction of carbon nanotubes-filled polymer composites with tunneling effect

Introduction:MicroRNA(miRNA) plays critical roles in a large number of cellular processes,including neural development,cell survival and cell *** previous work showed a link between miRNA expression and hypoxia,a neural stem/progenitor cells(NPCs) microenvironment ***-based expression profiles revealed that a specific spectrum of miRNAs in NPCs were up-regulated under hypoxic conditions,including miR-210,which via a hypoxia inducible factor-1(HIF-1)-dependent ***,we demonstrate that besides the HIF-1 pathway,the expression of miR-210 in NPCs is also regulated by DNA methylation under ***:First,we detectd the expression level of miR-210 in NPCs treated with the DNA-demethylation agent 5-aza-2’-deoxycytidine(AZA) by ***,we detected the methylation rate of miR-210 in NPCs exposed to different oxygen concentration by bisulfite *** then determined the cell survival and apoptosis after miR-210 over-expression in NPCs by Cell Counting kit-8 and TUNEL ***:MiR-210 is embedded in a CpG island,and its expression level is increased in NPCs treated with DNA methylation inhibitor(AZA) even under *** sequencing of multiple independent miR-210 clones show a decrease from 24% methylation in NPCs under 20%O to 18%under 3%O,or 12%under 0.3%*** find a CpG dinucleotide especially changed from hemimethylation under 20%O to approach little-methylation under 3%or 0.3%O. Hypoxia results in demethylation of miR-210,and hypomethylation can lead to epigenetic activation of the *** addition,overexpression of miR-210 increases the survival rate of NPCs exposed to extreme ***: These results demonstrate that hypoxia can up-regulate the expression of miR-210 by decreasing the methylation level of the genome DNA,which is an important element of NPCs response to extreme hypoxia by affecting cell survival.

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) have garnered great attention in recent years due to their outstanding electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. The incorporation of small amounts of CNTs in polymers can substantially improve the sensitivity of the polymer's electrical conductivity. This paper presents a modified Maxwell model to evaluate the electrical conductivity of CNTs-filled polymer composites by introducing a transition zone to account for the tunneling effect. In this modified Maxwell model, the CNTs-filled polymer composite is modeled as a three-phase composite, consisting of a matrix(polymer), inclusions(CNTs), and a transition zone(tunneling zone). The effective electrical conductivity(EEC) of the composite is calculated based on the volume fractions and electrical conductivities of the matrix, inclusions, and transition zone. The model's validity is confirmed through the use of available test data, which demonstrates its capability to accurately capture the nonlinear conductivity behavior observed in CNTs-polymer composites. This study offers valuable insights into the design of high-performance conductive polymer nanocomposites, and enhances the understanding of electrical conduction mechanisms in CNT-dispersed polymer composites.

The skin is the largest organ of the *** establishment of immunological memory in the skin is a crucial component of the adaptive immune *** naive T cells are activated by antigen-presenting cells,a small fraction of them differentiate into precursor memory T *** precursor cells ultimately develop into several subsets of memory T cells,including central memory T(TCM)cells,effector memory T(TEM)cells,and tissue resident memory T(TRM)*** cells have a unique transcriptional profile,and their most striking characteristics are their long-term survival(longevity)and low migration in peripheral tissues,including the *** physiological conditions,TRM cells that reside in the skin can respond rapidly to pathogenic ***,there is emerging evidence to support the vital role of TRM cells in the recurrence of chronic inflammatory skin disorders,including psoriasis,vitiligo,and fixed drug eruption,under pathological or uncontrolled *** and characterizing the mechanisms that are involved in skin TRM cells will help provide promising strategies for reducing the frequency and magnitude of skin inflammation ***,we discuss recent insights into the generation,homing,retention,and survival of TRM cells and share our perspectives on the biological characteristics of TRM cells in the recurrence of inflammatory skin disorders.

Organic electron-transport materials are an essential component to boost performances and stability of organic light-emitting diodes. We present a robust organic electron-transport compound 3-(6-(3-(4,6-bis(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)phenyl)pyridin-2-yl)phenyldiphenylphosphine oxide by facilely coupling the triphenylphosphine oxide moiety to the 2-phenyl-4,6-bis(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,5-triazine unit via a 2,6-pyridinylene linker. It is well soluble in weakly polar solvents and possesses a high Tg of 123 ℃ with an exceptional Td≈470 ℃ at 1% weight loss and deep HOMO/LUMO levels of ca.-6.45/-3.06 eV. The phosphorescent spectrum measured in solid state at 77 K reveals a notable triplet energy of 2.88 eV. n-Doping with 8-hydroxyquinolatolithium(Liq) produces the electron mobility value of 4.66×10-5–3.21×10-4 cm2 V-1 s-1@(2–5)×105 V ***, the contrasting solubility of the bromo reaction intermediate and the new compound in alcoholic solvents facilitates separation. The characterizations of bottom-and top-emission green phosphorescent OLEDs involving this single Liq-doped electron-transport layer reveal long stability. In particular, the latter provides outstanding performances with 77.4 cd A–1(corresponding to an EQE of 18.7%) and 86.8 lm W–1@ca. 1000 cd m-2, based on the green emitter bis(2-phenylpyridine)(2-(4-methyl-3-phenylphenyl)pyridine)iridium(Ⅲ). Moreover, driven by a constant current for ca. 640 h, the initial luminance of 1000 cd m–2 appears almost no decay.

Configurational information entropy(CIE)analysis has been shown to be applicable for determining the neutron skin thickness(δnp)of neutron-rich nuclei from fragment production in projectile fragmentation *** BNN+FRACS machine learning model was adopted to predict the fragment mass cross-sections(σ_(A))of the projectile fragmentation reactions induced by calcium isotopes from ^(36)Ca to ^(56)Ca on a ^(9)Be target at 140MeV/*** fast Fourier transform was adopted to decompose the possible information compositions inσA distributions and determine the quantity of CIE(S_(A)[f]).It was found that the range of fragments significantly influences the quantity of S_(A)[f],which results in different trends of S_(A)[f]~δnp *** linear S_(A)[f]~δnp correlation in a previous study[***.33,6(2022)]could be reproduced using fragments with relatively large mass fragments,which verifies that S_(A)[f]determined from fragmentσAis sensitive to the neutron skin thickness of neutron-rich isotopes.

Since the discovery of the founding member of the Phytochrome Interacting Factors （PIF3）, PIFs have been shown to be ＇hubs＇ for multiple signaling pathways and have taken center stage in many conferences and publica- tions （Leivar and Monte, 2014）. PIF3 was originally discov- ered from a yeast two-hybrid screen using the C-terminal domain of a class of photoreceptor called phytochromes （phys） that specifically sense the red and far-red regions of ambient sunlight （Leivar and Quail, 2011）. The Arabiclopsis thaliana genome encodes five phytochromes （phyA-phyE） and seven PIFs （PIF1, PIF3-PIFS）（Leivar and Quail, 2011）.

Hepatitis A, which is a major global health problem （Nainan et al., 2006）, is caused by hepatitis A virus （HAV）. Approxi- mately 1.4 cases of hepatitis A have been reported annually. HAV belongs to the family of Picomaviridae and genus He- patovirus, which is a sole member of this family. HAV has radically different properties from those of other picomavi- ruses. First, HAV is extremely resistant to degradation caused by environmental conditions.

A hands-free method is proposed to control an electric powered wheelchair （EPW） based on surface electromyography （sEMG） signals. A CyberLink device is deployed to obtain and analyze forehead sEMG signals generated by the facial movements. The autoregressive （AR） model is used to extract sEMG features. Then, the back-propagation artificial neural network （BPANN） is proposed to recognize different facial movement patterns and improved by Bayesian regularization and Levenberg-Marquardt （LM） algorithm. A sEMG based human-machine interface （HMI） is designed to map facial movement patterns into corresponding control commands. The experimental results show that the method is simple, real-time and have a high recognition rate.

The dominant annual cycle of sea surface temperature(SST)in the tropical Pacific exhibits an antisymmetric mode,which explains 83.4%total variance,and serves as a background of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO).However,there is no consensus yet on its anomalous impacts on the phase and amplitude of *** on data during 1982-2022,results show that anomalies of the antisymmetric mode can affect the evolution of ENSO on the interannual scale via Bjerknes feedback,in which the positive(negative)phase of the antisymmetric mode can strengthen El Niño(La Niña)in boreal winter via an earlier(delayed)seasonal cycle transition and larger(smaller)annual *** magnitude of the SST anomalies in the equatorial eastern Pacific can reach more than±0.3◦C,regulated by the changes in the antisymmetric mode based on random sensitivity *** reveal the spatial pattern of the annual cycle associated with the seasonal phase-locking of ENSO evolution and provide new insight into the impact of the annual cycle of background SST on ENSO,which possibly carries important implications for forecasting ENSO.
