Partial multi-label learning（PML） allows learning from rich-semantic objects with inaccurate annotations, where a set of candidate labels are assigned to each training example but only some of them are valid. Existing approaches rely on disambiguation to tackle the PML problem, which aims to correct noisy candidate labels by recovering the ground-truth labeling information ahead of prediction model induction. however, this dominant strategy might be suboptimal as it usually needs extra assumptions that cannot be fully satisfied in real-world scenarios. Instead of label correction, we investigate another strategy to tackle the PML problem, where the potential ambiguity in PML data is eliminated by correcting instance features in a label-specific manner. Accordingly, a simple yet effective approach named PASE, i.e., partial multi-label learning via label-specific feature corrections, is proposed. Under a meta-learning framework, PASElearns to exert label-specific feature corrections so that potential ambiguity specific to each class label can be eliminated and the desired prediction model can be induced on these corrected instance features with the provided candidate labels. Comprehensive experiments on a wide range of synthetic and real-world data sets validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Forestry waste(FW)is a significant renewable energy source in *** substitution of coal blends(BC)with forestry waste to produce metallurgical coke was investigated aiming at expanding alternative resources and reducing CO_(2)emissions in ironmaking *** BC with different ratios of FW were carbonized in a fixed bed reactor,and the physicochemical structure of the coke derived from FW/BC co-carbonization was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,solid-state^(13)C nuclear magnetic resonance,optical microscopy,and scanning electron *** results reveal that the suitable incorporation of FW in BC is 10 wt.%,and the index of coke quality exhibits a good correlation with the optical anisotropy index and the aromaticity of the as-obtained *** partial substitution of BC with FW exhibits potential benefits for colloid formation,owing to the higher hydrogen in ***,as the substitution ratio of BC with FW increases,it inhibits coke agglomeration due to more tortuous stacked structures formation during volatile releasing ***,it was identified that the substitution of higher BC ratios with FW results in the partial replacement of aromatic carbons by oxygenlinked carbons and aliphatic *** substitution leads to a reduction in the aromaticity of the as-obtained coke.

Zirconium-based metal-organic cages(Zr-MOCs)typically exhibit high stability,but their structural and application reports are scarce due to stringent crystallization *** have successfully fluorinated the classical Zr-MOCs(ZrT-3)for the first time,obtaining the fluorinated MOCs(ZrT-3-F).Notably,ZrT-3-F not only inherits the high stability of its parent structure,but also acts as a catalyst for the effective oxidation of benzyl thioether for the first *** reaction can reach a conversion rate of 99%in 6 h,and the selectivity reaches 95%,which far exceeds the non-fluorinated *** work proves that the specific functionalization of the classical Zr-MOCs can further expand their application potential,such as catalysis.

The durability of wear-resistant tetrahedral amorphous carbon（ta-C） coatings is intimately linked to their thickness and the concentration of *** enhance the lifespan of the coatings,we have prepared a multilayer coating consisting of alternating layers of Ti and ta-C,denoted as（Ti/ta-C）_n,using arc ion plating.A multi-layer structure in conjunction with stage cooling is employed to enhance the thickness and promote *** results indicate that the ID/IGvalue,representing the ratio of the intensity of the D peak to that of the G peak in Raman spectroscopy,decreases from 0.85 when no stage cooling is applied to 0.35 when stage cooling is employed,suggesting an enhancement in the fraction of sp3bonds within the *** obtained（Ti/ta-C）_n multilayer coating without peeling off has a maximum thickness of 1.14 μm,which is almost double that of the ta-C coating single layer *** the same time,the coating has a low coefficient of friction,down to 0.069,and maintains excellent friction properties with a wear rate of 3.4×10-6mm3·N-1·*** results conclusively show that the preparation technology can enhance both thickness and sp3bonding in ta-C coatings,significantly expanding their utility across tools,molds,and precision engineering components.

The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of a Fe-0.12C-0.2Si-1.6Mn-0.3Cr-0.0025B(wt.%)steel with different initial microstructures,i.e.,hot rolled(HR)and cold rolled-annealed(CRA),were studied through optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy,electron channeling contrast imaging,microhardness and room temperature uniaxial tensile *** water quenching from 930℃ to room temperature,a fully martensitic microstructure was obtained in both as-quenched HR and CRA specimens,which shows a microhardness of 480±5 HV,and no significant difference in microstructure and microhardness was *** test results show that the product of tensile strength and total elongation(UTS×TE)of the as-quenched HR specimen,i.e.,24.1 GPa%,is higher than that of the as-quenched CRA specimen,i.e.,18.9 GPa%.While,after being tempered at 300℃,the martensitic microstructures and mechanical properties of the two as-quenched specimens change significantly due to the synergy role of the matrix phase softening and the precipitation *** the maximum UTS×TE,it is 18.9 GPa%obtained in the as-quenched CRA one,while that is 24.4 GPa%obtained in the HR specimen after tempered at 300℃ for 5 min.

The manipulation of single atom within the metallic kernel of nanoclusters has attracted considerable attention due to its potentials to elucidate kernel-based structure-property relationships at the single-atom ***,new-designed chiral bialkynyl ligands,have been chosen as protective agents to isolate two pairs of 8-electron superatomic silver nanoclusters,R/S-Ag39 and R/S-Ag40.X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that Ag39 and Ag40 with the same number of chiral ligands,possess a closely analogous silver skeleton but a single-atomic *** incorporation of an extra Ag40th atom into Ag40 evokes two significant changes of structure and property compared to Ag39:(i)a reduction in the symmetry of the entire nanocluster,resulting in an enhancement of kernel-related asymmetry g-factor;(ii)a regulation of the transitions(1P→1D and Ligand(π)→1D)of excited state,leading to a second near-infrared(NIR-II,1000-1700 nm)phosphorescent emission red-shift from 1088 to 1150 *** work not only provides vital insights into the relationship between structures and ground/excited states chiroptical activities at the single-atom level,but also presents bialkynyl as a promising stabilizing agent for building superatomic metal nanoclusters.

The compositions and distributions of monoterpenes, isoprene, aromatics and sesquiterpene SOA tracers (SOAM, SOAI, SOAA and SOAS, respectively) at an island site (Da Wan Shan Island, DWS) were investigated in the context of the influence of continental and marine air masses over the Pearl River Estuary (PRE) region in winter 2021. The sum concentration of SOA tracers was 6.2-132.8 ng m-3, with SOAM and SOAI as the main components in both continental (scenarios A1 and A2) and marine air masses (scenario A3), as well as their combination (scenario A4). The highest and lowest levels of SOAM were observed in A1 and A3, respectively, which were mainly related to the variations in meteorological conditions, precursor concentrations, and the degree of photochemical processes. Higher MBTCA/HGA (3-methyl-1,2,3-butanetricarboxylic acid/3-hydroxyglutaric acid) ratios suggested a less significant contribution from alpha-pinene to SOAM. The variations of SOAI in the different scenarios were associated with differences in relative humidity, particle acidity, and isoprene/NOx ratios. The respective highest and lowest concentrations of aromatics SOA tracers in A1 and A3 revealed the influence of anthropogenic precursors from upwind continental areas, which was confirmed by the correlation among biogenic and anthropogenic precursors. The results of the tracer-based-method suggested dominant contributions of SOAs from aromatics and monoterpenes, with the highest concentrations in A1. A WRF-Chem simulation revealed that the SOAs from the above precursors only contributed 12%-25% to the total SOA at DWS, while the spatial distributions of SOAs further highlighted that the abundance of SOAs over the PRE region in winter is highly associated with air masses transported from upwind continental areas.

BACKGROUND Rectal cancer is prevalent and associated with substantial morbidity and *** To develop a nomogram prediction model for overall survival(OS)in patients with rectal cancer by leveraging a comprehensive analysis of demographic,clinicopathological,haematological,and follow-up data to identify independent prognostic *** We conducted a prospective cohort study in China involving rectal cancer patients and applied Cox regression and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression to assess the significance of various variables as independent prognostic factors for *** identified factors were integrated into a nomogram model,which was evaluated for predictive accuracy via the C-index,area under the curve(AUC),calibration curve,and decision curve analysis(DCA).RESULTS Multivariate analysis revealed independent predictors of OS,including the Karnofsky performance status,age,sex,TNM stage,chemotherapy,surgery,targeted therapy,β2-microglobulin,lactate dehydrogenase,and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte *** nomogram demonstrated a C-index of 0.80 for the training and validation cohorts,with AUC values indicating high predictive accuracy for 1-year,3-year,and 5-year *** calibration curves confirmed the model's excellent agreement with the observed survival rates,and DCA revealed the superior clinical utility of the nomogram over the TNM staging *** In this study,a novel prognostic model that accurately predicts the OS of rectal cancer patients was *** model exhibited excellent discriminatory and calibration capabilities,thus offering a reliable tool for health care professionals to estimate patient survival.
