A novel electrochemical detection approach for platelet-derived growth factor（PDGF） via ＂sandwich＂structure is reported in this paper. 3D-4MgCO3 Mg（OH）2 4H2O-Au NPs inorganic hybrid composite was utilized as immobilized substrate for sensitive PDGF detection and Pt-Au bimetallic nanoparticles were labelled on PDGF aptamer to indirectly detect PDGF for the first time. The proposed aptasensor exhibited a high catalytic efficiency towards reduction of H2O2, hence the sensitive detection of PDGF was *** showed that the aptasensor exhibited excellent linear response to PDGF, in the range of 0.1 pg/m L–10 ng/m L（4 fmol/L–400 pmol/L）, with detection limit of 0.03 pg/m L（1.2 fmol/L）.

The amino-functionalization of TS-1 zeolite followed by immobilization of phosphotungstic acid(HPW)was presented to prepare a strong solid acid catalyst for the synthesis of bio-based tributyl citrate from the esterification of citric acid and n-butanol.γ-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES)was first grafted on the TS-1 zeolite via the condensation reactions with surface hydroxyl groups,and subsequently the HPW was immobilized via the reaction between the amino groups and the protons from HPW-forming strong ionic *** Keggin structure of HPW and MFI topology of TS-1 zeolite were well maintained after the *** amino-functionalization generated abundant uniformly distributed active sites on TS-1 for HPW immobilization,which promoted the dispersity,abundance,as well as the stability of the acid *** tetrahedrally coordinated framework titanium and non-framework titania behaved as weak Lewis acid sites,and the protons from the immobilized HPW acted as the moderate or strong Brønsted acid *** optimized TBC yield of 96.2%(mol)with a conversion of-COOH of 98.1%(mol)was achieved at 150℃for 6 h over the HPW immobilized on amino-functionalized *** catalyst exhibited good stability after four consecutive reaction runs,where the activity leveled off at still a relatively high level after somewhat deactivation possibly caused by the leaching of a small portion of weakly anchored APTES or HPW.

Isosorbide is a novel bio-based material derived as a secondary dehydration product of *** work focuses on the kinetics of sulfuric acid-catalyzed dehydration of sorbitol under conditions of nonconstant ***,the effects of stirring rate,catalyst dosage,reaction temperature,and reaction time on the dehydration reaction of sorbitol were *** yield of isosorbide up to 77.13%was obtained after 1.5 h of reaction time under conditions of 2 kPa,1.0%(mass)catalyst dosage,and 413.15 *** on the sorbitol dehydration reaction mechanism and a simplified reaction network,a kinetic model was developed in this work.A good agreement was accomplished between kinetic modeling and experiments between 393.15 and 423.15 *** fitting results indicate that side reactions with higher activation energies are more affected by reaction temperatures,and the main side reaction that influences the selectivity of isosorbide is the oligomerization reaction among the primary dehydration products of *** model fitting of the catalyst amounts effect shows that the effective concentration of sulfuric acid would be reduced with the increase of dosage due to the molecular agglomeration ***,the kinetic experiments and modeling results obtained in this work will be helpful to the design and optimization of the industrial sorbitol dehydration process.

EMD has its own interpretation of combinations of pure tones, and mode mixing is one of the problems because of the noise and multi component. We give a solution involving wavelet packet decomposition with EMD. The improved signal method is based on wavelet packet decomposition, the noise of the signal is eliminated and we get the IMF without mode mixing. The method also allows EMD to be used to separate components that are similar in frequency that would be inseparable with standard EMD techniques. The experiment shows the method to improve EMD is practical and effective.

This paper presents a literature review focused on the material performance of cold-formed, carbon steel, hollow structural sections under impulsive （highly dynamic） loading. Impulsive loading, represented by impact and blast, is characterized by a very rapid, time-dependent loading regime in the affected members and materials. Thus, the effect of high-strain-rate loading is initially reviewed. Next the material toughness, an important energy-absorption property and one measure of a material＇s ability to arrest fracture, is considered by means of studying the Charpy V-notch behavior. The response of hollow sections under axial and lateral impact loading is then reviewed. Studies of blast on hollow sections, most of which fall under the categories of contact/near-field loading or far-field loading are presented. Under large-scale field blast experiments, cold-formed hollow sections have shown excellent behavior. Software for modeling blast loading and structural response, the latter including single degree of freedom analysis and explicit finite element analysis, is described and discussed.

The flow loss of a helical channel Magnetohydrodynamic （MHD） thruster without MHD effect was numerically studied with 3-D simulations, and a flow loss coefficient （ was defined to quantify the flow loss and its influencing factors were studied. The results show that （ decreases in a first-order exponential manner with the pitch of a helical wall and the Reynolds number, and it declines slowly when t / T 〉 0.2 and Re 〉 10^5, a flow guide makes the flow more smooth and uniform, especially in the flow guide and helical wall sub-regions and thus reduces the flow loss greatly, by about 30% with the averaged value of （ from 0.0385 to 0.027, a rectifier weakens the helical flow and strengthens the axial one in the rectifier and outlet sub-regions, thus reduces the rotational kinetic pressure with the averaged value of ξ declining about 4% from 0.0385 to 0.037, and ξ decreases with a rectifier＇s axial length when Re 〉 10^5 .

Biohydrometallurgy is a novel method to recycle discarded batteries,in which sewage sludge is used as microorganisms and culture due to the presence of indigenous Thiobacilli.A two-step continuous flow leaching system consisting of an acidifying reactor and a leaching reactor was introduced to achieve the bioleaching of spent nickel-cadmium(Ni-Cd)*** acid supernatant produced in the acidifying reactor by the microorganisms with ferrous ions as the substrate was conducted into the leaching reactor to dissolve electrode *** efficiency of a batch treatment of batteries was *** results showed that the complete dissolution of two AA-sized Ni-Cd batteries with 0.6 L/d acid supernatant took about 30,20,and 35 days for Ni,Cd,and Co,*** the dissolution ability of the three metals was *** and Co can be leached mostly for pH below 4.0 while the complete dissolution of Ni can be achieved for pH below ***,a strain(named ***)accounting for the reduction of pH in the acidified sludge was isolated and *** was identified to be 100%similar to Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans strain Tf-49 based on 16S rDNA sequence *** relevant phylogenetic tree constructed indicates that the strain should be classified into genus Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans.

BACKGROUND Protein glycosylated hemoglobin,hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)binds hemoglobin(Hb)in red blood cells to blood ***,the relationship between Hb and HbA1c remains *** To elucidate their relationship in a nondiabetic population aged≥16 years in the United States,using data from the 1999-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination *** This study was based on data from 44560 adults aged≥16 years,excluding those with *** relationship was estimated using a multivariate *** also used piecewise linear regression for subgroup analysis based on age and sex stratification and analysis of the threshold effects of Hb on *** Hb and HbA1c levels were negatively correlated in the unadjusted model(β=-0.01;95%CI:-0.01,-0.01).The correlation was significantly negative when the regression model was minimally regulated and stratified by age and sex,and remained negative when the model was further regulated(more than 10%)to identify covariates with the HbA1c level influence *** subgroup analyses based on age and sex stratification,the association remained negative when the covariates were controlled.A nonlinear relationship was observed between them when the Hb levels reached the tipping point(13.2 g/dL)(adjusted odds ratio,-0.04;95%CI:-0.05,-0.03)and when the Hb levels exceeded 13.2 g/dL(adjusted odds ratio,-0.10;95%CI:-0.10,-0.09).CONCLUSION Our study shows that normal Hb levels are negatively correlated with HbA1c in nondiabetic Americans aged≥16 years.
