First-principles calculations have recently been used to develop comprehensive databases of nonmagnetic topological materials that are protected by time-reversal or crystalline ***,owing to the low symmetry requirement of Weyl points,a symmetry-based approach to identifying topological states cannot be applied to Weyl semimetals(WSMs).To date,WSMs with Weyl points in arbitrary positions are absent from the well-known databases.

Species of the genus Myceliophthora and its teleomorph Corynascus have attracted increasing interest due to their potential to produce thermostable *** study re-assessed the phylogenetic relationship of 49 isolates of nine species belonging to Myceliophthora and *** species,***,was shown not to belong to the genus Myceliophthora and should be placed in the genus *** other species belonged to two phylogenetic clusters:mesophilic fungi with the type species *** and ***,and thermophilic fungi with ***,*** and *** phylogenetic data provides no clear separation of the two genera Corynascus and *** avoid confusion in future taxonomic studies,it is proposed that all existing Corynascus species be renamed to Myceliophthora,which is the old name and the one more frequently ***,this study identified two groups within the isolates listed as *** and assigned one group(five isolates)to *** based on AFLP analysis and mating *** study provides new insights into the genetic differences within the genus Myceliophthora and will therefore be essential for the interpretation of future genomic and physiological studies of these species.

AIM: To characterize the expression and dynamic changes of bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)-2 in hepatocytes in the regenerating liver in rats after partial hepatectomy (PH), and examine the effects of BMP-2 on proliferation of human Huh7 hepatoma cells. METHODS: Fifty-four adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: A normal control (NC) group, a partial hepatectomized (PH) group and a sham operated (SO) group. To study the effect of liver regeneration on BMP-2 expression, rats were sacrificed before and at different time points after PH or the sham intervention (6, 12, 24 and 48 h). For each time point, six rats were used in parallel. Expression and distribution of BMP-2 protein were determined in regenerating liver tissue by Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry. Effects of BMP-2 on cell proliferation of human Huh7 hepatoma cell line were assessed using an MTT ***: In the normal liver strong BMP-2 expression was observed around the central and portal veins. The expression of BMP-2 decreased rapidly as measured by both immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis. This decrease was at a maximum of 3.22 fold after 12 h and returned to normal levels at 48 h after PH. No significant changes in BMP-2 immunoreactivity were observed in the SO group. BMP-2 inhibited serum induced Huh7 cell ***: BMP-2 is expressed in normal adult rat liver and negatively regulates hepatocyte proliferation. The observed down regulation of BMP-2 following partial hepatectomy suggests that such down regulation may be necessary for hepatocyte proliferation.

AIM: To investigate if azathioprine could reduce adenoma formation in ApcMin/+, a mouse model of sporadic intestinal ***:Azathioprine was administered via drinking water(estimated 6-20 mg/kg body weight per day)to ApcMin/+and wildtype *** animals received vehicle only(DMSO)dissolved in drinking *** 15wk of age all mice were sacrificed and intestines of ApcMin/+were harvested for evaluation of polyp *** induced toxicity was investigated by immunohistochemical analysis on ***:All azathioprine treated mice showed signs of drug-associated toxicity such as weight loss and development of splenic T-cell *** this suggests that the thiopurine concentration was clearly in the therapeutic range,it did not reduce tumor formation(48±3.1 adenomas vs 59±5.7 adenomas,P=0.148).CONCLUSION:We conclude that in the absence of inflammation,azathioprine does not affect intestinal tumorigenesis.

PURPOSE: This study was designed to describe the consequences of diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer for paid and unpaid labor over time and to identify sociodemographic-related factors, treatment-related factors, and quality of life-related factors associated with paid and unpaid labor. METHODS: Data were assessed prospectively in two samples of patients with primary rectal cancer, participating in a multicenter clinical trial, who were randomized to receive surgery with or without 5 ×5Gy preoperative radiotherapy. For paid labor, 292 patients who indicated paid labor before treatment filled out quality of life questionnaires, which included questions on paid labor at 3, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months after surgery. For unpaid labor, another sample of 92 patients also filled out the Health and Labor questionnaire, which included questions on unpaid labor, before treatment, and at 3 and 12 months after treatment. RESULTS: From 3 to 18 months after surgery, paid labor resumption increased from 19 to 63 percent (P < 0.001). At 24 months after surgery, paid labor resumption was 61 percent. In a multivariate analysis, age older than 55 years (P ≤0.001), lower education level (P ≤0.003), shorter time since surgery (P < 0.001), preoperative radiotherapy (P = 0.02), lower valuation of overall health (P < 0.01), more physical symptom distress (P < 0.001), and more limitations in daily activities (P < 0.001) were all associated with less or later resumption of paid labor. The average amount of unpaid labor increased from 17.3 hours per week at 3 months to 21 hours per week at 12 months after surgery. In a multivariate analysis, only shorter time since surgery (P = 0.03) and male gender (P < 0.001) were related to less unpaid labor. CONCLUSIONS: Diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer affect paid and unpaid labor. The impact on paid labor is most pronounced. 2019年3月Neurology上发表了一篇探讨脑微梗死与血管性认知障碍临床相关性的研究,题目是“Clinical relevance of acute cerebral microinfarcts in vascular cognitive impairment”。1研究介绍1.1研究背景急性微梗死(acute cerebral microinfarcts,ACMI)为DWI显示的幕上高信号病灶,对应T2*等/高信号,最长直径<5 mm。随着MRI技术的日益先进,在DWI序列上可以清晰观察到大约2周内发生的ACMI。既往研究发现,在脑淀粉样变患者、脑出血患者及记忆门诊患者中更容易观察到ACMI病灶;但ACMI与血管危险因素、认知水平及临床预后的关系尚未被阐明,存在ACMI的患者,其脑脊液生物标志物水平和影像学相关特征尚无定论。
