Resilience Enhancement of Urban Energy Systems via Coordinated Vehicle-to-grid Control Strategies

Coordinated vehicle-to-grid(V2G)control strategies can sustain essential loads of an energy system during islanding,thereby increasing *** this context,this paper investigates the resilience enhancement benefits of smart V2G control,the value of electric vehicle(EV)owner cooperation on system resilience,as well as the complementary effects of PV and EV interaction in an urban multi-energy microgrid(MEMG).By using a rolling horizon approach to optimize day-ahead operation of the MEMG and subsequently dispatching EVs,uncertainties in outage start time,EV arrival/departure times,and initial state of charge(SOC)are *** show that smart V2G control can provide a substantial essential load curtailment reduction compared to a non-EV scenario,meanwhile,non-coordinated grid-to-vehicle(G2V)operation was shown to slightly burden the system with a slight increase in non-essential load *** into the influence of EV cooperation on resilience showed that a high percentage of system-prioritized(SP)EVs could help greatly further reduce essential load curtailment compared to individual-prioritized(IP)***,the complementary benefits of smart V2G control and PV were demonstrated,showing a reduction in both PV and essential load curtailments with increasing numbers of ***,the application of smart V2G control,especially with cooperation of EV owners,can drive significant resilience enhancement during islanding,while further benefits can be obtained through having a sufficient number of EVs to utilize high PV penetration.

Iron isotopic analyses of geological reference materials on MC-ICP-MS with instrumental mass bias corrected by three independent methods

Here we report iron(Fe) isotopic data of three pure Fe solution standards(IRMM-014, GSB Fe, and NIST3126a) and five widely used geological reference materials(RMs) from the United States Geological Survey and Geological Survey of Japan obtained on a Neptune Plus multi-collector–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometer(MC-ICP-MS) in our laboratory over the past 3 years. The instrumental mass bias was corrected by three independent methods: sample-standard bracketing(SSB),Ni doping + SSB, and ^(57)Fe–^(58)Fe double spike + *** reveal that both the Ni doping and double spike methods helped calibrate short-term fluctuations in mass bias. Collectively, almost all measurements of RMs yielded δ^(56)Fe within ± 0.05 of recommended values,provided that each sample was measured four times on MC-ICP-MS. For the first time, new recommended values for NIST SRM3126a are reported(δ^(56)Fe = 0.363 ± 0.006,2SE, 95% CI; and δ^(57)Fe = 0.534 ± 0.010, 2SE).

Characterization of Genome-Wide Microsatellites of Saccharina japonica Based on a Preliminary Assembly of Illumina Sequencing Reads

Microsatellites or simple sequence repeats(SSR) function widely and locate dependently in genome. However, their characteristics are often ignored due to the lack of genomic sequences of most species. Kelp(Saccharina japonica), a brown macroalga, is extensively cultured in China. In this study, the genome of S. japonica was surveyed using an Illumina sequencing platform, and its microsatellites were characterized. The preliminarily assembled genome was 469.4 Mb in size, with a scaffold N_(50) of 20529 bp. Among the 128370 identified microsatellites, 90671, 25726 and 11973 were found in intergenic regions, introns and exons, averaging 339.3, 178.8 and 205.4 microsatellites per Mb, respectively. These microsatellites distributed unevenly in S. japonica genome. Mononucleotide motifs were the most abundant in the genome, while trinucleotide ones were the most prevalent in exons. The microsatellite abundance decreased significantly with the increase of motif repeat numbers, and the microsatellites with a small number of repeats accounted for a higher proportion of the exons than those of the intergenic regions and introns. C/G-rich motifs were more common in exons than in intergenic regions and introns. These characteristics of microsatellites in S. japonica genome may associate with their functions, and ultimately their adaptation and evolution. Among the 120140 pairs of designed microsatellite primers, approximately 75% were predicted to be able to amplify S. japonica DNA. These microsatellite markers will be extremely useful for the genetic breeding and population evolution studies of kelp.

Introduction:Sediment and nutrient retention have significant impacts on agricultural productivity and water *** changes of climate and land-use have deeply affected freshwater ecosystem services in the last several ***,it is unclear what the differences are in the impact of climate and land-use changes on freshwater ecosystem ***:The impacts of climate and land-use change on sediment and nutrient retention(two essential freshwater ecosystem services)were evaluated with the help of the Integrated Valuation of Environmental Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST)*** results from the study area suggest a decreasing trend in sediment and nutrient retention from 1995 to 2015 when climate and land-use were changed simultaneously.A decreasing trend in sediment retention and an increasing trend in nutrient retention were presented under scenario A(climate change from 1995 to 2015 with land-use unchanged),while the sediment exported and nutrient retention exhibited a decreasing trend except sediment retained under scenario B(land-use change from 1995 to 2015 with unchanged climate).Rainfall erosivity and soil erodibility were more sensitive to the output of sediment retention,while retention efficiency produced more of an effect on nutrient *** and Conclusion:Climate change played a dominant role in the change in sediment retention,while land-use change had a more significant effect on nutrient retention change than climate *** results of this study provide explicitinformation for land-use managers to reduce the negative effects associated with sediment and nutrient retention.

Morphometric measurement of the patella on 3D model reconstructed from CT scan images for the southern Chinese population

样本前处理是影响离子选择电极测土时效性的关键环节。以缩短静置时间为目的,该文探讨了高分子絮凝剂Superfloc127用于土壤硝态氮浸提前处理操作的可行性。首先,基于相界电位模型对Superfloc127加入土样硝态氮浸提液后电极反应动力学过程进行建模分析,理论可行性验证后,开展测土试验,分析其对自制全固态电极(PPy-NSISE)及商用电极(PVC-NISE)电化学性能的影响。结果表明:使用Superfloc127后,样本制备时间由1.5 h缩短至10 s;PPy-NSISE及PVC-NISE响应斜率分别为-51.4和-52.1 m V/Decade,检测灵敏度无明显改变,测土结果与标准结果之间的决定系数分别为0.69和0.31;连续测定12 h后,PPy-NSISE和PVC-NISE的响应斜率分别降低至-35.1和-25.4 m V/Decade,性能不可恢复。通过理论解析及大量分析试验证明,絮凝剂Superfloc127无法应用在基于离子选择电极法的土壤硝态氮快速分析,提高土壤前处理效率的研究工作仍需深入开展。
