The practical applications of carbon anode for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)are largely obstructed by their moderate rate capability and cyclic stability.Herein,we report a N,S-codoped porous carbon nanosheet(NSC)decorated with Fe_(3)C nanoparticles(Fe_(3)C/NSC)by a one-pot pyrolysis process.The high surface area and abundant defects of NSC can not only promote electrons and ions transfer,but also induce high pseudocapacitive contribution.More importantly,the synergistic catalysis effect of Fe-Nx and Fe_(3)C can catalyze the reversible conversion of some solid electrolyte interface(SEI)components to offer excess capacity during cycling.As expected,the Fe_(3)C-NSC anode delivers a discharge capacity of750 mAh·g^(-1)under a current density of 0.5 A·g^(-1)through 500 cycles and retains a dis-charge capacity of 366 mAh·g^(-1)at 4 A·g^(-1)after 1600 cycles,respectively.Most importantly,the lithium-ion capacitors based on Fe_(3)C/NSC anode demonstrate a high energy density of 249.5 Wh·kg^(-1)at 560 W·kg^(-1).

Nanopipette-based sensors are one of the most effective tools for detecting nanoparticles,bioparticles,and biomolecules.Quantitative analysis of nanoparticles with different shapes and electrical charges is achieved through measurement of the blockage currents that occur when particles pass through the nanopore.However,typical nanopipette sensors fabricated using a conventional needle-pulling method have a typical pore-diameter limitation of around 100 nm.Herein,we report a novel conductive hydrogel-composited nanopipette sensor with a tunable inner-pore diameter.This is made by electrodepositing poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate onto the surface of a nanopipette with a prefabricated sacrificial copper layer.Because of the presence of copper ions,the conductive polymer can stably adhere to the tip of the nanopipette to form a nanopore;when nanoparticles pass through the conductive nanopore,more distinct blocking events are observed.The size of the nanopore can be changed simply by adjusting the electrodeposition time.In this way,suitable nanopores can be obtained for highly sensitive screening of a series of particles with diameters of the order of tens of nanometers.

Determining security/stability boundaries is a common and critical means of preventing cascading failures induced by voltage-related issues,which represents one of the major challenges in bulk power systems.However,traditional approaches suffer from conservative issues and heavy computational burdens.To address these challenges,the concept of an autonomous-synergic voltage security region(AS-VSR)and the corresponding dynamic constraint coefficient pruning(DCCP)computation method,which fully consider the volt/var characteristics of bulk power systems,are proposed in this letter.Both linearized and nonlinearized robust optimization problems are introduced to obtain accurate results.The computational accuracy,time cost,and advantages of autonomous-synergic control are observed in the simulation results.

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things(IoT),there are several challenges pertaining to security in IoT applications.Compared with the characteristics of the traditional Internet,the IoT has many problems,such as large assets,complex and diverse structures,and lack of computing resources.Traditional network intrusion detection systems cannot meet the security needs of IoT applications.In view of this situation,this study applies cloud computing and machine learning to the intrusion detection system of IoT to improve detection performance.Usually,traditional intrusion detection algorithms require considerable time for training,and these intrusion detection algorithms are not suitable for cloud computing due to the limited computing power and storage capacity of cloud nodes;therefore,it is necessary to study intrusion detection algorithms with low weights,short training time,and high detection accuracy for deployment and application on cloud nodes.An appropriate classification algorithm is a primary factor for deploying cloud computing intrusion prevention systems and a prerequisite for the system to respond to intrusion and reduce intrusion threats.This paper discusses the problems related to IoT intrusion prevention in cloud computing environments.Based on the analysis of cloud computing security threats,this study extensively explores IoT intrusion detection,cloud node monitoring,and intrusion response in cloud computing environments by using cloud computing,an improved extreme learning machine,and other methods.We use the Multi-Feature Extraction Extreme Learning Machine(MFE-ELM)algorithm for cloud computing,which adds a multi-feature extraction process to cloud servers,and use the deployed MFE-ELM algorithm on cloud nodes to detect and discover network intrusions to cloud nodes.In our simulation experiments,a classical dataset for intrusion detection is selected as a test,and test steps such as data preprocessing,feature engineering,model training,and result analysis are performed.The experimental

Wind-farm-side modular multilevel converters(WFMMCs) used in modular multilevel converter based highvoltage direct current(MMC-HVDC) transmission systems must be able to control the AC grid voltage in offshore wind farms. Different AC voltage control strategies can significantly affect the dynamic characteristics of WFMMCs. However, existing studies have not provided a general methodology of controller parameter design, and few comparative studies have been conducted on control performance under varying operating conditions as well as the effects of different AC voltage control modes(AVCMs) on the stability of MMC-HVDCs with offshore wind farms. This paper provides a controller parameter design method for AVCMs, which is tested in various operating scenarios. Sequence impedance models of offshore wind farms and WFMMCs under different AVCMs are then developed. The effects of AVCMs on the small-signal stability of the interconnected system are then analyzed and compared using the impedance-based method. Finally, case studies are conducted on a practical MMC-HVDC system with offshore wind farms to verify the theoretical analysis.

For facing the challenges brought by large-scale renewable energy having access to the system and considering the key technologies of energy Internet,it is very necessary to put forward the location method of distribution network equipment and capacity from the perspective of life cycle cost.Compared with the traditional energy network,the equipment capacity problem of energy interconnected distribution network which involves in electricity network,thermal energy network and natural gas network is comprehensively considered in this paper.On this basis,firstly,the operation architecture of energy interconnected distribution network is designed.Secondly,taking the grid connection location and configuration capacity of key equipment in the system as the control variables and the operation cost of system comprehensive planning in the whole life cycle as the goal,the equipment location and capacity optimization model of energy interconnected distribution network is established.Finally,an IEEE 33 bus energy mutual distribution grid system is taken for example analysis,and the improved chaotic particle swarmoptimization algorithm is used to solve it.The simulation results show that the method proposed in this paper is suitable for the equipment location and capacity planning of energy interconnected distribution network,and it can effectively improve the social and economic benefits of system operation.

BACKGROUND:Diverse models of automated external defibrillators(AEDs)possess distinctive features.This study aimed to investigate whether laypersons trained with one type of AED could intelligently use another initial contact type of AED with varying features.METHODS:This was a prospective crossover simulation experimental study conducted among college students.Subjects were randomly trained with either AED1(AED1 group)or AED2(AED2 group),and the AED operation performance was evaluated individually(Phase I test).At the 6-month follow-up AED performance test(Phase II test),half of the subjects were randomly switched to use another type of AED,which formed two switches(Switch A:AED1-1 group vs.AED2-1 group;Switch B:AED2-2 group vs.AED1-2 group).RESULTS:A total of 224 college students participated in the study.In the phase I test,a significantly higher proportion of successful defibrillation and shorter shock delivery time to achieve successful defibrillation was observed in the AED2 group than in the AED1 group.In the phase II test,no statistical differences were observed in the proportion of successful defibrillation in Switch A(51.4%vs.36.6%,P=0.19)and Switch B(78.0%vs.53.7%,P=0.08).The median shock delivery time within participants achieving successful defibrillation was significantly longer in the switched group than that of the initial group in both Switch A(89[81-107]s vs.124[95-135]s,P=0.006)and Switch B(68[61.5-81.5]s vs.95.5[55-131]s,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:College students were able to effectively use AEDs different from those used in the initial training after six months,although the time to shock delivery was prolonged.

Anaerobic sludge from a sewage treatment plant was used to acclimatize microbial colonies capable of anaerobic oxidation of methane(AOM) coupled to sulfate reduction. Clone libraries and fluorescence in situ hybridization were used to investigate the microbial population.Sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)(e.g., Desulfotomaculum arcticum and Desulfobulbus propionicus)and anaerobic methanotrophic archaea(ANME)(e.g., Methanosaeta sp. and Methanolinea sp.)coexisted in the enrichment. The archaeal and bacterial cells were randomly or evenly distributed throughout the consortia. Accompanied by sulfate reduction, methane was oxidized anaerobically by the consortia of methane-oxidizing archaea and SRB. Moreover, CH_4 and SO_4^(2-) were consumed by methanotrophs and sulfate reducers with CO_2 and H_2S as products. The H_3CSH produced by methanotrophy was an intermediate product during the process. The methanotrophic enrichment was inoculated in a down-flow biofilter for the treatment of methane and H_2S from a landfill site. On average, 93.33% of H_2S and 10.71% of methane was successfully reduced in the biofilter. This study tries to provide effective method for the synergistic treatment of waste gas containing sulfur compounds and CH_4.

Incidence of injuries in professional snow sports:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Purpose:The study aimed to conduct a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis of injury incidence in professional skiers and snowboarders.Methods:We systematically searched PubMed,Web of Science,and MEDlinE for studies on injury incidence published from inception to April 2020.Injury data were extracted,alongside information on injury location,severity,type,cause,and sport discipline.Incidence of injuries was presented per 1000 athlete-days,with 95%confidence intervals(95%CIs).Results:The search identified 462 articles,and 22 were included in our review.The overall incidence of injuries among professional skiers and snowboarders was 3.49 per 1000 athlete-days(95%CI:2.97-4.01).Lower extremity had the highest injury incidence(1.54 per 1000 athletedays,95%CI:1.24-1.84).Incidence rates of slight,mild,moderate,and severe injuries were 0.26,0.31,0.57,and 0.59 per 1000 athlete-days,respectively.Contusion had the highest incidence rate(1.82 per 1000 athlete-days,95%CI:1.01-2.63).The most common cause of injury was contact trauma(3.20 per 1000 athlete-days,95%CI:1.32-5.08).Freestyle skiing had the highest incidence rate(6.83 per 1000 athlete-days,95%CI:4.00-9.66),and Nordic skiing had the lowest rate(2.70 per 1000 athlete-days,95%CI:1.94-3.46).Conclusion:Professional skiers and snowboarders have a substantial risk of sustaining injuries.Our findings can be used to inform the planning and provision of healthcare for elite participants in different snow sports.
