＜正＞ The action of bitter tropical Geissosperm.m.species used in folk m.dicine for liver illnesses,m.laria and occasional fever has been attributed to their alkaloids （Alk）.*** yielded geissosperm.ne （GSP）,geissoschizoline （GSCh） and flavopereirine （ELP） which in a general screening blocked nAChR noncom.etitivelyand inhibited ChE. Interactions of the Alk with a? nAChR from.rat whole brain or m.scle - type nAChR from.diaphragm.m.scle （DIA）. and with AChE from.rat striatum.hom.genates were studied com.aratively to galantam.ne （GAL） at a7 and AChE. Com.etition binding assays used [125I] - bungarotoxin （2 nm. 60 m.n, 25℃）;AChE activity was m.asured with the thiocholine m.thod at 25oC. The Alk relative IC50 （um. for the specific toxin binding at a7/DIA were: GSP （400/35）;GSCh （602/100）;ELN （145/54） and GAL （＞104 m.. For the AChE the IC50 （um. were 100. 100. 5 and 0.8. respectively. The data indicated 1) the Alk affinities for DIA are low but higher than for a7 nAChR;FLP was the m.st active. 2)the Alk are weak AChE inhibitors, the m.st effective being FLP which was com.arable to galantam.ne.

This work deals with an application in param.tric m.deling of problem. regarding pipelines buried in static system. written in C＋＋ using ObjectARX functions. The application is fully integrated with AutoCAD through *** and *** libraries where the stages of pre-processing, processing and post-processing are done in AutoCAD sotlware environm.nt itself without having to export data to another processing environm.nt. The analysis processing is done by functions whose algorithm. are based on the solution of the coupling between the FEm.（finite elem.nt m.thod） and the BEm.（boundary elem.nt m.thod）. The representation of the hom.geneous pipeline is m.de by the FEm.using a finite elem.nt in the form.of a cylindrical panel called CYS （cylindrical shell）, developed from.the hom.geneous isotropic m.del proposed initially by Djoudi Bahai, who uses the philosophy of the assum.d deform.tion m.del （assum.d strain based m.del）. The soil is taken to be a continuum.infinite or sem.-infinite elastic solid patterned by BEm.where special boundary elem.nts are proposed with curved surface or curved edges to represent the soil-structure interaction m.inly in the areas of contact with the pipeline.

Aim.The concept of post-activation potentiation(PAP)is still novel from.a training perspective and lacks breadth relative to weightlifting *** The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute effects of a conditioning activity(clean high pulls)on the perform.nce of a m.in activity(clean)after the conditioning *** Eleven volunteers who engaged in weightlifting(m.le=5,Fem.le=6)participated in two different testing ses-sions(experim.ntal ***).Baseline m.asurem.nts were taken following the *** testing condition was perform.d and additional m.asurem.nts were taken at 30 s,2 m.n,4 m.n,6 m.n,8 m.n,10 m.n,and 12 m.n into recovery.A linear position transducer was used to collect peak power,peak velocity,and displacem.nt of the barbell during the *** 2×8 repeated m.asures ANOVAs were used to analyze the data along with a paired sam.les t test between baseline and"best"*** There was no interaction or m.in effect for condition(P>0.05).However,there was a significant m.in effect for tim.(Pm.ntal=1354.76 ±521.24 W *** 1216.03 ±492.30 W;peak velocity:experim.ntal=2.66 ±0.44 m.s *** 2.50 ±0.44 m.s;displacem.nt:experim.ntal=111.07 ± 12.09 cm.*** 107.01 ± 11.32 cm..Conclusions The findings of this study are in partial agreem.nt with previous literature where the warm.up was probably enough to elicit ***,recom.endations for future studies could include utilizing a m.re elite population and to ensure all potential participants can squat at least 2 x their body weight.

Carotenoids have attracted greater attention due to the beneficial role on hum.n health. It is an essential nutrient and has som. biological functions such as species-specific coloration, photoprotection, light absorbing, which is an im.ortant com.onent because of its role as precursor of vitam.n A. In this study was perform.d the production of fl-Carotene by Rhodotorula glutinis UCP/WFCC 1555 in presence and absence of blue and white using LED （light-em.tting diodes） and evaluation of the cytotoxic effect. The production was investigated in low cost m.dium.constituted by different concentrations of CG （crude glycerin） and CSL （corn steep liquor） from.the CCD （Central Com.osite Design） and the identification and yield of the β-Carotene was investigated by chrom.tographic profile （HPLC）. Additionally, the fl-Carotene produced was tested to evaluate its cytotoxic effect in hum.n tum.r cells m.F-7 （breast cancer） and HL-60 （prom.elocytic leukem.a） and healthy cells of m.crophages. The results showed that in the m.dium.com.osed by 6% glycerin and 0.6% corn steep liquor, in the absence of light, occurred the m.xim.m.production of total carotenoids with values of 160μg·g-1 and these 100.60μg·g-1 correspond to the β-Carotene that showed ability in inhibit cell growth in several tum.r cells such as m.F-7 cells （breast cancer） and HL-60 （prom.elocytic leukem.a）.

This paper proposes an investigation of the effects of laser engineering surface with dim.le operating under lubrication. Dim.les with sem.-spherical geom.try, with 100 μm.in diam.ter and 25 μm.in depth, were Laser-m.chined on the surfaces of high speed steel AISI H 13 discs, with three different distribution densities applied over the surface. Pin-on-disc experim.nts were perform.d by using counter bodies m.de with AISI 440C and Tungsten carbide ISO K20 pins. The experim.nts provided data inform.tion on the influence of dim.le distribution on the coefficient of friction. Num.rical sim.lations were perform.d to understand the influence of the pin and disc surface roughness on the contact problem. The results suggest that the design of dim.le-structured surfaces rely on nine m.in param.ters： m.terial contact pair and its respective hardness, Young m.dulus, the roughness of the surfaces, the dim.le design, the dim.le distribution, the load applied, the velocity and the type of lubricant. A better perform.nce can be obtained from.a com.rom.se solution over these param.ters, and the dim.le concentration has a dom.nance over the other param.ters. The best results were obtained with a lower concentration of dim.les, under higher speed and load. Num.rical sim.lations can also be used as a design tool, supporting decisions regarding shape and distribution of the dim.les and m.terial selections for the contact pair.

Hum.n T-cell lym.hotropic virus type 1(HTLV-1)is associated with the developm.nt of HTLV-1-associated m.elopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis(HAm.TSP).It has been reported that the HTLV-1 proteins(specifically TAX and HBZ)can m.dulate FOXp3,resulting in an im.une im.alance that can favor the progression of HAm.*** review aim. to sum.arize the literature in order to clarify the relationship between the expression of HTLV-1 m.RNAs and/or viral proteins(TAX and HBZ)with the expression of m.NA and/or protein FOXp3 and their correlation with HAm.TSP *** system.tic review was conducted according to the recom.endations of the Preferred Reporting Item. for System.tic Reviews and *** search strategy was perform.d on the m.dical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System.Online and Latin Am.rican and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences Platform.using subject *** screening,six articles were included in this *** studies suggested that TAX and HBZ have a directly proportional correlation with FOXp3 in individuals with HAm.TSP,which also presented an increased expression of FOXp3 com.ared to asym.tom.tic controls and/or healthy *** system.tic review indicates that TAX and HBZ can interact with FOXp3 and that interaction m.y influence HAm.TSP developm.nt.
