Application of nanotechnology in agriculture has been expanded to improve crop *** impact of nanomaterials(Nms)on factors that influence the survival and function of beneficial microorganisms is a less studied aspect that needs to be better *** a few studies have assessed the effects of Nms on beneficial soil *** study was conducted to assess the effects of nanofertilizer FertiGroe?N(FG-N)and nano-plant hormone HormoGroe?auxin(HG-A)on the chemical properties and microbial communities of two contrasting soils,Lipa clay loam(CL)and Sariaya sandy loam(SL),over a 35-d incubation period in the *** and fungal communities were evaluated using amplicon sequencing analysis within the 16S and internal transcribed spacer regions,*** application of FG-N significantly decreased soil pH,but did not affect total N and available P for both soil types.A significant increase in exchangeable K was observed only in Lipa *** application of HG-A had no significant effect on soil chemical *** the bacterial community after incubation,the relative abundances of Acidobacteriia,Chthonomonadetes,and Saccharimonadia decreased,whereas Acidimicrobiia,Chloroflexia,and Gemmatimonadetes increased with FG-N application in Lipa *** application of HG-A increased the relative abundance of Rubrobacteria,Chthonomonadetes,and Chloroflexia in Lipa *** the fungal community,FG-N application increased the relative abundance of Sordariomycetes,Agaricomycetes,and Eurotiomycetes,whereas Dothideomycetes and mortierellomycetes decreased in Lipa CL after *** Sariaya SL,FG-N application increased the relative abundance of Dothideomycetes,Eurotiomycetes,and mortierellomycetes,but decreased that of Sordariomycetes and *** classes observed in the control samples were not detected in the HG-A treatment,but were recovered after incubation in Lipa *** microbial diversity in both soil types showed sl

We report the theoretical prediction of two high-performing hydride superconductors BaSiH_(8)and SrSiH_(8).They are thermodynamically stable above pressures of 130 and 174 GPa,respectively,and metastable below *** anharmonic phonon calculations,we determine the minimum pressures of dynamical stability to be around 3 GPa for BaSiH8 and 27 GPa for SrSiH_(8),and using the fully anisotropic migdal-Eliashberg theory,we predict Tc’s around 71 and 126 K,*** also introduce a method to estimate the lowest pressure of synthesis,based on the calculation of the enthalpy barriers protecting the BaSiH_(8)Fm3¯m structure from decomposition at various *** kinetic pressure threshold is sensibly higher than the one based on dynamic stability,but gives a much more rigorous limit for synthesizability.

Age-Dependent Comparative Study of 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF Exposure on Heart muscle Tissue Hydration of Rats

Previously we have shown that 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF exposures have depressing effect on the thermodynamic activity of water, which decreases peroxide formation. It has also been shown that 4 Hz EmF-treated physiological solution modulates the growth and development of microbes and heart muscle contractility, but 8 Hz EmF has pronounced inhibitory effect on bacterial growth and development. Therefore, in order to elucidate the possible mechanism of 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF effects on heart muscle function, in the present work the effects of 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF exposures on heart muscle tissue hydration, the sensitivity of 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF-induced tissue hydration to 10−4 m ouabain (Na+/K+ pump inhibition) and 10−9 m ouabain (activation of intracellular signaling system) as well as the effects of 4 Hz and 8 Hz EmF exposures on the number of Na+/K+ pump units in the membrane of both young and old rats have been studied. The obtained data allow us to suggest that 8 Hz EmF exposure has more pronounced age-dependent modulation effect on tissue hydration of heart muscle than 4 Hz EmF and this effect is sensitive to Na+/K+ pump activity and intracellular signaling system.

This research is framed within the affective computing, which explains the importance of emotions in human cognition (decision making, perception, interaction and human intelligence). Applying this approach to a pedagogical agent is an essential part to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process of an intelligent learning system. This work focuses on the design of the inference engine that will give life to the interface, where the latter is represented by a pedagogical agent. The inference engine is based on an affective-motivational model. This model is implemented by using artificial intelligence technique called fuzzy cognitive maps.

An overview of forensic operations performed following the terrorist attacks on November 13,2015,in Paris

Recycling of Electronic Waste, Using Basic and Acid Leaching

This recycling of printed circuit board (TCI) for the production of metals, given the environmental degradation that can cause toxic substances of these, is the reuse of valuable materials recovered from the TCI, this being an economic engine that promotes the recycling of this waste. This paper presents a methodology for evaluating the reaction kinetics and leaching of metals that form the metal substrate, which have environmental and energy advantages, so the generation of new recovery techniques metals from the TCI low environmental and energy impact is increasingly necessary, for it is essential to establish the parameters affecting the reaction rate and identify design alternatives to determine whether or not sustainable, economically viable and that does not pollute. The method adopted was a leaching acid samples, where the full factorial method employed two experimental levels to evaluate the influence of: leaching time, temperature of the aqueous leach solution, reaction kinetics and solid/liquid, on the percentage of metal extraction. Subsequently, the metals are obtained by calcining and smelting the resulting salts by addition of acid liquor.
