Engineering hollow core-shell hetero-structure box to induce interfacial charge modulation for promoting bidirectional sulfur conversion in lithium-sulfur batteries

Severe polysulfide shuttling and sluggish sulfur redox kinetics significantly decrease sulfur utilization and cycling stability in lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs).Herein,we develop a hollow CoO/CoP-Box core-shell heterostructure as a model and multifunctional catalyst modified on separators to induce interfacial charge modulation and expose more active sites for promoting the adsorption and catalytic conversion ability of sulfur *** and experimental findings verify that the in-situ formed core-shell hetero-interface induces the formation of P-Co-O binding and charge redistribution to activate surface O active sites for binding lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)via strong Li-O bonding,thus strongly adsorbing with Li ***,the strong Li-O bonding weakens the competing Li-S bonding in LiPSs or Li2S adsorbed on CoO/CoP-Box surface,plus the hollow heterostructure provides abundant active sites and fast electron/Li+transfer,so reducing Li2S nucleation/dissolution activation *** expected,LSBs with CoO/CoP-Box modified separator and traditional sulfur/carbon black cathode display a large initial capacity of 1240 mA h g^(-1)and a long cycling stability with 300 cycles(~60.1%capacity retention)at ***,the thick sulfur cathode(sulfur loading:5.2 mg cm^(-2))displays a high initial areal capacity of 6.9 mA h cm^(-2).This work verifies a deep mechanism understanding and an effective strategy to induce interfacial charge modulation and enhance active sites for designing efficient dual-directional Li-S catalysts via engineering hollow core-shell hetero-structure.

Experimental Investigation on the Development Process of Large-Scale Low-Speed Stall Disturbance in Contra-Rotating Compressor

In order to better understand the stall process of a contra-rotating compressor,the detailed characteristic and multi-channel unsteady pressure signals have been achieved by a special layout of high-frequency response pressure *** array consists of thirty-one high-frequency response dynamic sensors coupled with two optical fiber sensors that were installed on the compressor casing in the direction of circumferential and chordwise of the upstream and downstream of the contra-rotating rotors.A significant hysteresis loop during the stall-recovery process of the contra-rotating compressor was captured *** time series of unsteady signals when the compressor was working on the point of stall occurrence,the period of fully stall,and recovery stall were studied and *** show a large scale,and low-speed disturbance occurred abruptly at the leading-edge plane of the rear rotor and expands until it passes through both *** single stall cell occupied a circumferential range of 135° and moved in the direction of the rear rotor with an 8.3%shaft *** the mass flow rate dropped,the stall cell speed *** the stall recovery process,the rotational speed of disturbance suddenly increased from 7.5%to 18%and even increased to 47%just before the moment when flow recovered *** with the rear rotor,the front one dropped out unstable conditions earlier.

A biobased flame retardant towards improvement of flame retardancy and mechanical property of ethylene vinyl acetate

A new biobased flame retardant(MHPA)with remarkable compatibility was synthesized via a facile and low-cost neutralization reaction of magnesium hydroxide(MH)and phytic acid(PA).By blending the prepared MHPA into ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA),the fire retardancy,smoke suppression and mechanical properties of the composites were significantly *** 50 wt%of MH was added into EVA matrix,the value of limiting oxygen index(LOI)reached 26.1%.Whereas,when 10 wt%MH in the EVA composites(with initial 50 wt%MH)was replaced by MHPA,the resulted EVA composites had a LOI value of 30.8%,indicating high efficiency of addition of MHPA to improve flame ***,the heat release rate(HRR)and total smoke production(TSP)of the EVA composites reduced by 54.4%and 27.6%,respectively,suggesting that incorporation of MHPA could effectively hinder rapid degradation of EVA composites during burning *** fire-retardant mechanism may reside in that the MHPA combined with MH can present the excellent carbonization and expansion *** study illustrates that the biobased MHPA has a broad application prospect to develop flame-retardant EVA composites.

The interfaces of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)are well known to be rich in deep-level carrier traps,which serve as non-radiative recombination centers and limit the open-circuit voltage(Voc)and power conversion efficiency(PCE)of *** chemistry and surface passivators have been researched extensively and mainly focused on the neutralization of uncoordinated lead or anion ***,a novel brominated passivator 2-bromophenethylammonium iodide(2-Br-PEAI)is introduced for a multi-functional passivation effect at the perovskite *** brominated species readily form 2D perovskite on top of the 3D perovskite and multi-interact with the 3D perovskite *** from the halide vacancy filling and anion bonding ability,the Br atoms on the benzene ring can interact with the FA cations via strong hydrogen bonding N-H…Br and interact with the[PbI_(6)]^(4−)inorganic *** interface defects in the PSCs are well passivated,minimizing non-radiative recombination and enhancing device *** a result,a champion PCE of 24.22%was achieved with high V_(oc)and fill *** addition,modified devices also showed enhanced operational stability(retention of>95%initial PCE after 400 h)and humidity resistance(>90%initial PCE maintained after 1500 h under~50%RH).

为了解决单纯非负矩阵分解计算繁复,收敛速度慢的问题,本文提出了一种基于自然梯度下降的体积最小及丰度稀疏约束的非负矩阵分解方法。该方法在目标函数中加入体积最小和丰度稀疏约束,可以对混合图像进行较好地分解;采用自然梯度下降的方法进行迭代,加快了算法收敛速度。实验结果表明:该方法能有效克服最小体积约束非负矩阵分解法速度慢且不稀疏的缺陷,相对于解混效果(SAD)相近的方法提速100倍,相对于解混时间相近的算法,此方法的解混精度提高0.02°;此方法尤其适用于像元较多的高光谱图像。

Safety signs are an important guarantee for the safe operation of a substation. The proper placements of all safety signs in a substation as well as accurate detection and identification of them provide the basis for future defect detection of safety signs. With the use of LABVIEW programming language and MATLAB mathematical software, a method of detecting and recognizing security signs is proposed. First of all, the returned images during the substation inspection will be preprocessed. Then the warning signs will be extracted by color features, and each part of the warning signs will be segmented. Finally, the safety signs will be identified by neural network matching.

As a weak low-frequency time-varying signal in plants, plant electrical signals are easily affected by various noise signals during the detection process. In order to obtain plant electrical signals accurately, this paper builds a plant electrical signal detection platform in a controlled environment, and the applications of wavelet hard threshold denoising, wavelet soft threshold denoising and unbiased risk estimation denoising are compared and analyzed in the denoising of plant electrical signals. The research results show that the soft national noise reduction method based on the wavelet analysis method has the largest SNR value and good noise reduction effect, which can be used as one of the ideal noise reduction methods in the study of plant electrical signals.
