In this study,the truncated octahedral CeO_(2)(CeO_(2)-to)with special morphology was prepared by the solvothermal method with oleic acid(OA)and oleamine(OM)as the morphology-directing ***-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)results show that CeO_(2)-to exposes composite{100}and{111}facets,while CeO_(2)cubic(CeO_(2)-c)and CeO_(2)octahedral(CeO_(2)-o)only expose single crystal facets of{100}plane and{111}plane,***,this CeO_(2)-to photocatalyst exhibits remarkable photooxidation performance of gaseous acetaldehyde(CH_(3.CHO)degradation,in which CO_(2)generation value reaches 1.78 and 7.97-times greater than that of CeO_(2)-c and CeO_(2)-o,*** addition,the active species trapping experiment signifies that superoxide(·O_(2)^(-))and holes(h^(+))are the main reactive substances during the CH_(3.CHO degradation process,and the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectra indicates that the former is the major ***,the electron transfer mechanism between CeO_(2)-to{100}and{111}facets and the surface oxygen adsorption ability are revealed via density functional theory(DFT)*** is also confirmed that{100}facets are more conducive to the absorption of acetaldehyde than{111}***,a reasonable mechanism for improved photocatalytic CH_(3.CHO degradation on CeO_(2)-to is proposed based on relevant experiments and DFT *** study demonstrates that the systematic development of surface homojunction structured photocatalysts can efficiently increase the degradation activity for volatile organic compounds(VOCs).It also offers additional direction for optimizing the photocatalytic activity of other ceriumbased photocatalysts.

Marine umbilical is one of the key equipment for subsea oil and gas exploitation,which is usually integrated by a great number of different functional components with *** layout of these components directly affects manufacturing,operation and storage performances of the *** the multi-layer cross-sectional layout design of the umbilical,a quantifiable multi-objective optimization model is established according to the operation and storage *** the manufacturing factors,the multi-layering strategy based on contact point identification is introduced for a great number of functional ***,the GA-GLM global optimization algorithm is proposed combining the genetic algorithm and the generalized multiplier method,and the selection operator of the genetic algorithm is improved based on the steepest descent *** algorithm is used to find the optimal solution in the global space,which can converge from any initial layout to the feasible layout *** feasible layout solution is taken as the initial value of the generalized multiplier method for fast and accurate ***,taking umbilicals with a great number of components as examples,the results show that the cross-sectional performance of the umbilical obtained by optimization algorithm is better and the solution efficiency is ***,the multi-layering strategy is effective and *** design method proposed in this paper can quickly obtain the optimal multi-layer cross-sectional layout,which replaces the manual design,and provides useful reference and guidance for the umbilical industry.

Recent research on photothermal therapy(PTT) has sparked significant interest in the development of new organic photothermal agents(PTAs),ranging from single-molecule to aggregated ***,controlling aggregation pathways for PTAs with ultrahigh photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE) remains a major ***,a two-pronged approach utilizing “Haggregation” and “intramolecular motion” was employed to enhance the PCE of an acceptor-substituted squaraine dye(NSQs).The C2vmolecular symmetry of the NSQs,which possess a ground state dipole moment(μg),promotes H-dimeric aggregates through dipole-dipole *** triphenylethylene or diphenylamine groups were added to this H-dimeric *** was done to enhance intramolecular motions for heat generation and also to extend conjugation,which redshifted the optical absorption and balanced the blue-shift induced by *** this technique,an organic PTA with NIR-II absorption was developed,and its nanoparticle achieved a remarkable PCE of 86.3. under 1,064 nm laser *** transient absorption spectroscopy and quantum mechanical calculations demonstrated the accelerated internal conversion process in NIR-II PTAs for rapid heat *** NSQs nanoparticles exhibit superior photothermal therapeutic properties for in vivo photoacoustic imaging-guided PTT,demonstrating the potential of bottom-up design to enable synergistic engineering strategies towards efficient phototheranostic agents.

Metabolically healthy obesity refers to obese individuals who do not develop metabolic *** people store fat in subcutaneous adipose tissue(SAT)rather than in visceral adipose tissue(VAT).However,the molecules participating in this specific scenario remain ***18,a lipid droplet(LD)-associated protein,mediates the contact between the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)and LDs to facilitate LD growth and *** the present study,we show that the protein level of Rab18 is specifically upregulated in the SAT of obese people and ***18 adipocyte-specific knockout(Rab18 AKO)mice had a decreased volume ratio of SAT to VAT compared with wildtype *** subjected to high-fat diet(HFD),Rab18 AKO mice had increased ER stress and inflammation,reduced adiponectin,and decreased triacylglycerol(TAG)accumulation in *** contrast,TAG accumulation in VAT,brown adipose tissue(BAT)or liver of Rab18AKO mice had a moderate increase without ER stress ***18 AKO mice developed insulin resistance and systematic ***18 AKO mice maintained body temperature in response to acute and chronic cold induction with a thermogenic SAT,similar to the counterpart ***,Rab18-deficient 3.3.L1 adipocytes were more prone to palmitate-induced ER stress,indicating the involvement of Rab18 in alleviating lipid ***18 AKO mice provide a good animal model to investigate metabolic disorders such as impaired *** conclusion,our studies reveal that Rab18 is a key and specific regulator that maintains the proper functions of SAT by alleviating lipid-induced ER stress.

Here we report new approaches of recovering the Earth gravitational field from GOCE (Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer) gradiometric data with the help of the gradient tensor’s invariants. Our results only depend on GOCE satellite’s position and gradiometry, in other words, they are completely independent of the satellite attitude. First, starting from the invariants, linearization models are established, which can be referred as the general boundary conditions on the satellite’s orbit. Then, the spherical approximation expressions for the models are derived, and the corresponding solving methods for them are discussed. Furthermore, considering effects of J2-term, the spherical approximation models are improved so that the accuracies of the boundary conditions can be theoretically raised to O ( J 2/2 T), which is approximately equivalent to O(T2). Finally, some arithmetic examples are constructed from EGM96 model based on the derived theories, and the computational results illustrate that the spherical models have accuracies of 10-7 and the order recovering the gravitational field can reach up to 200, and the models with regard to effect of J2-term have accuracies of 10-8 and the order can reach up to 280.

With the implementation of the 10-year fishing ban policy， the fish diversity and the niche characteristics of dominant species in the spawning grounds of the national Nature Reserve of rare and endemic fish in the upper reaches of the yangtze River may change. In this study， undamaged spawning grounds of natural viscous egg-producing fish in the reserve were continuously investigated since February 2022， and the characteristics of fish species composition， biodiversity and dominant species niche were analyzed. The results showed that a total of 45 species of fish belonging to 3. genera， 13.families， and 3.orders were detected through environmental DNA （eDNA） in this survey， including 10 species endemic to the upper reaches of the yangtze River， such as Procypris rabaudi and Myxocyprinus asiaticus. The fish community was mainly composed of bottom-dwelling， settling ovum-producing， omnivorous fish. The variation ranges of the Chao1 index， ACE index， Shannon index， and Simpson index are 73.-996， 719-965， 1.58-3.23. and 0.83.0.99， respectively， indicating that fish species in spawning sites are abundant and community distribution uniformity is high. All indexes are highest at ZT1 monitoring points. Cluster analysis showed that， at a certain similarity level， fish community types in spawning sites could be basically divided into two groups: ZT1， ZT3. and ZT5 clustered together， and ZT2 and ZT4 clustered together， indicating similar fish community habitats. There are 9 dominant fish species in typical deep pool habitats in the reserve， with niche widths (Bi) ranging from 1.13.to 3.87. The dominant fish species are broad and medium niche fish， such as Cyprinus carpio and Hemiculter tchangi， with the niche overlap index (Oik) of some dominant fish species reaching more than 0.95. The statistical modeling of extraordinary loads on buildings has been stagnant for decades due to the laborious and error-prone nature of existing survey methods,such as questionnaires and verbal *** study proposes a new vision-based survey method for collecting extraordinary load data by automatically analyzing surveillance *** this purpose,a crowd head tracking framework is developed that integrates crowd head detection and reidentification models based on convolutional neural networks to obtain head trajectories of the crowd in the survey *** crowd head trajectories are then analyzed to extract crowd quantity and velocities,which are the essential factors for extraordinary *** survey areas with frequent crowd movements during temporary events,the equivalent dynamic load factor can be further estimated using crowd velocity to consider dynamic effects.A crowd quantity investigation experiment and a crowd walking experiment are conducted to validate the proposed survey *** experimental results prove that the proposed survey method is effective and accurate in collecting load data and reasonable in considering dynamic effects during extraordinary *** proposed survey method is easy to deploy and has the potential to collect substantial and reliable extraordinary load data for determining design load on buildings.

To address the problem that model uncertainty and unknown time-varying system noise hinder the filtering accuracy of the autonomous navigation system of satellite constellation,an autonomous navigation method of satellite constellation based on the Unscented Kalman Filter with Adaptive Forgetting Factors(UKF-AFF)is *** process noise covariance matrix is estimated online with the strategy that combines covariance matching and adaptive adjustment of forgetting *** adaptive adjustment coefficient based on squared Mahalanobis distance of state residual is employed to achieve online regulation of forgetting factors,equipping this method with more *** intersatellite direction vector obtained from photographic observations is introduced to determine the constellation satellite orbit together with the distance measurement to avoid rank deficiency *** that the number of available measurements varies online with intersatellite visibility in practical applications such as time-varying constellation configurations,the smooth covariance matrix of state correction determined by innovation and gain is adopted and constructed *** analysis of the proposed method is also *** effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the Monte Carlo simulation and comparison *** estimation accuracy of constellation position and velocity of UKF-AFF is improved by 3.%and 44%respectively compared to those of the extended Kalman filter,and the method proposed is also better than other several adaptive filtering methods in the presence of significant model uncertainty.
