Using the Skyrme density functional theory,potential energy surfaces of^(240)Pu with constraints on the axial quadrupole and octupole deformations(q_(20)and q_(3.))were *** volume-like and surface-like pairing forces,as well as a combination of these two forces,were used for the Hartree–Fock–Bogoliubov *** in the least-energy fission path,fission barrier,pairing energy,total kinetic energy,scission line,and mass distribution of the fission fragments based on the different forms of the pairing forces were analyzed and *** fission dynamics were studied based on the timedependent generator coordinate method plus the Gaussian overlap *** results demonstrated a sensitivity of the mass and charge distributions of the fission fragments on the form of the pairing *** on the investigation of the neutron-induced fission of^(23.)Pu,among the volume,mixed,and surface pairing forces,the mixed pairing force presented a good reproduction of the experimental data.

Understanding the trajectories and driving mechanisms behind land use/land cover(luLC)changes is essential for effective watershed planning and *** study quantified the net change,exchange,total change,and transfer rate of luLC in the Jinghe River Basin(JRB),china using luLC data from 2000 to *** trajectory analysis,knowledge maps,chord diagrams,and standard deviation ellipse method,we examined the spatiotemporal characteristics of luLC *** further established an index system encompassing natural factors(digital elevation model(DEM),slope,aspect,and curvature),socio-economic factors(gross domestic product(GDP)and population),and accessibility factors(distance from railways,distance from highways,distance from water,and distance from residents)to investigate the driving mechanisms of luLC changes using factor detector and interaction detector in the geographical detector(Geodetector).The key findings indicate that from 2000 to 2020,the JRB experienced significant luLC changes,particularly for farmland,forest,and *** the study period,luLC change trajectories were categorized into stable,early-stage,late-stage,repeated,and continuous change *** the stable change type,the late-stage change type predominated the luLC change trajectories,comprising 83.3.% of the total change *** period 2010-2020 witnessed more active luLC changes compared to the period *** luLC changes exhibited a discrete spatial expansion trend during 2000-2020,predominantly extending from southeast to northwest of the *** driving factors on luLC changes included slope,GDP,and distance from *** interaction detection results imply either bilinear or nonlinear enhancement for any two driving factors impacting the luLC changes from 2000 to *** comprehensive understanding of the spatiotemporal characteristics and driving mechanisms of luLC changes offers valuable insights for the planning and sustainable management

Picking velocities from semblances manually is laborious and necessitates experience. Although various methods for automatic velocity picking have been developed, there remains a challenge in efficiently incorporating information from nearby gathers to ensure picked velocity aligns with seismic horizons while also improving picking accuracy. The conventional method of velocity picking from a semblance volume is computationally demanding, highlighting a need for a more efficient strategy. In this study, we introduce a novel method for automatic velocity picking based on multi-object tracking. This dynamic tracking process across different semblance panels can integrate information from nearby gathers effectively while maintaining computational efficiency. First, we employ accelerated density clustering on the velocity spectrum to discern cluster centers without the requirement for prior knowledge regarding the number of clusters. These cluster centers embody the maximum likelihood velocities of the main subsurface structures. Second, our proposed method tracks key points within the semblance volume. Kalman filter is adopted to adjust the tracking process, followed by interpolation on these tracked points to construct the final velocity model. Our synthetic data example demonstrates that our proposed algorithm can effectively rectify the picking errors of the clustering algorithm. We further compare the performances of the clustering method(CM), the proposed tracking method(TM), and the variational method(VM) on a field dataset from the Gulf of Mexico. The results attest that our method offers superior accuracy than CM, achieves comparable accuracy with VM, and benefits from a reduced computational cost.

Membrane gas separation is considered an energy-saving technique to extract He from natural gas due to no phase change and room temperature ***,the membrane performance was strongly limited by the trade-off between permeance and ***,novel 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)-2,2′-bis(3.amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane(APAF)-5-amino-2-(4-aminobenzene)benzimidazole(BIA)asymmetric membranes with a thickness of 3.0 nm were successfully prepared by the non-solvent induced phase separation *** membrane performance was modulated by regulating dope solution compositions(e.g.,tetrahydrofuran and polymer concentration).The ideal He/CH_(4) selectivity was 124 and the optimized He permeance reached 87 GPU,beyond the current upper ***/CH_(4) selectivity was 75 and He permeance was 73.GPU for the binary mixture feed containing 0.2 mol%*** membrane showed good resistance to CO_(2) and C_(2)H_(6),which are the typical impurities in natural *** 6FDA-APAF-BIA membranes have good stability(>160 h),which can provide great potential in He extraction from natural gas.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73.young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.

Ten novel isocoumarins,including four pairs of enantiomers,were isolated from Artemisia dubia ***(Asteraceae).Compounds 1,2 and 3./3. possessed a unique 6/6/6-tricyclic system comprising an unusual 1-(2-methylcyclohexyl)propan-1-one moiety fused with isocoumarin core *** 4a/4b were characterized as an unexpected 2,5-dimethylcyclohexan-1-one scaffold,and compounds 5a/5b and 6a/6b were rare 1,*** structures and absolute configurations were elucidated through spectroscopic data,X-ray crystallography,ECD and NMR calculations with DP4+*** biosynthetic pathways were proposed from the naturally occurring *** pharmacological analysis suggested that the targets of compound 1 were significantly enriched in the cell cycle and Pl3.-Akt signaling *** molecular docking revealed that compound 1 had high binding affinity with CDK2(total score:6.8717).Furthermore,compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibitory activity on three human hepatoma cell lines,with inhibitory ratios of 85.1% and 84.5%(HepG2),88.2% and 87.3.(Huh7),and 69.2% and 69.1%(SK-Hep-1)at 200μmol·L^(-1),respectively.

Reasonably constructing an atomic interface is pronouncedly essential for surface-related gas-sensing ***,we present an ingen-ious feedback-regulation system by changing the interactional mode between single Pt atoms and adjacent S species for high-efficiency SO_(2)*** found that the single Pt sites on the MoS_(2)surface can induce easier volatiliza-tion of adjacent S species to activate the whole inert S ***,the activated S species can provide a feedback role in tailoring the antibonding-orbital electronic occupancy state of Pt atoms,thus creating a combined system involving S vacancy-assisted single Pt sites(Pt-Vs)to synergistically improve the adsorption ability of SO_(2)gas ***-more,in situ Raman,ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy testing and density functional theory analysis demonstrate the intact feedback-regulation system can expand the electron transfer path from single Pt sites to whole Pt-MoS_(2)supports in SO_(2)gas *** with wireless-sensing modules,the final Pt1-MoS_(2)-def sensors array can further realize real-time monitoring of SO_(2)levels and cloud-data storage for plant *** a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic link between atomic interface and sensing mechanism is thus expected to broaden the rational design of highly effective gas sensors.

The biosynthesis of isoprene offers a more sustainable alternative to fossil fuel-based approaches,yet its success has been largely limited to pure organic compounds and the cost remains a *** study proposes a waste-to-wealth strategy for isoprene biosynthesis utilizing genetically engineered *** bacteria to convert organic waste from real food *** impact of organic compounds present in wastewater on *** growth and isoprene production was systematically *** results demonstrated that with filtration pretreatment of wastewater,isoprene yield,and production achieved 115 mg/g COD and 7.1 mg/(L·h),***,even without pretreatment,isoprene yield only decreased by~24%,indicating promising ***,maltose,glycerol,and lactate are effective substrates for isoprene biosynthesis,whereas starch,protein,and acetate do not support *** *** optimum C/N ratio for isoprene production was found to be 8:***,augmenting essential nutrients in wastewater elevated the isoprene yield increased to 159 mg/g *** wastewater biosynthesis significantly reduced the cost(44%–53.decrease,p-valuelue<0.01)compared with both sugar fermentation and fossil fuel–based *** study introduced a more sustainable and economically viable approach to isoprene synthesis,offering an avenue for resource recovery from wastewater.
