In this study, a series of random conjugated polymers (PBDB-TBTn) as donors were designed and synthesized. In these polymers, benzodithiophene unit with thiophene conjugated side chains (BDT) are donor part, and two different content of benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c']dithiophene-4,8-dione (BDD) and difluorobenzothiadizole (BT) linked alkylthiophene are acceptor unit. Polymer solar cells (PSCs) were fabricated with ITIC as an acceptor, and over the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9%was obtained, with open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.86 V, short-circuit current density (Jsc) of 16.84 mA/cm^2, and fill factor (FF) of 62.5%. These random conjugated polymers based solar cells are insensitive to solvent additives and thermal annealing. The performance of the device decreases gradually with the increasing of the proportion of fluorinated acceptor unit. The declining efficiency is due to the excessive fluorinated acceptor unit, which leads to over aggregated topography, destroys the effective charge transport pathways, and affects phase separation domain size between the donor and the acceptor. The phenomena are explained by the charge carrier recombination, atomic force microscope (AFM), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). These results indicate that proper addition of fluorinated acceptor units to build random copolymers can enhance the efficiency of organic photovoltaics toward additive-free and thermal annealing-free PSCs.

Single-phase SrM ultrafine powders with single-domain particle ranging from 200 to 400 nm in size were successfully synthesized by a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide（CTAB）-as sis ted co-precipitation method,and excellent magnetic properties with saturation magnetization of 68.6 A·m^2·kg^（-1） and coercive field of 0.5250 T are *** CTAB content exceeds 5.0 wt%,the impurities emerge due to the deterioration of simultaneous precipitations of the starting materials and the deviation of Sr/Fe molar ratio from stoichiometry ratio in the local microdomains by employing CTAB in co-precipitation ***,the use of CTAB can effectively improve the homogeneities of Fe-precursor particles with Sr-precursor particles,exert surface barriers to inhibit interdiffusion,and constrain the crystal growth in the local microdomains during sintering,resulting in smaller particle sizes and more uniform particle size distribution.

Efficient light absorption and trapping are of vital importance for the solar water evaporation by hydrogel-based photothermal conversion *** strategies are focused on the development of the composition and structure of the hydrogers internal *** our point of view,the importance of the surface structure of hydrogel has usually been underestimated or *** inspired by the excellent absorbance and water transportation ability of biological surface structure,the hierarchical structured hydrogel evaporators(HSEs)increased the light absorption,trapping,water transportation and water-air interface,which is the beneficial photothermal conversion and water *** HSEs showed a rapid evaporation rate of 1.77 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1)at about 92%energy efficiency under one sun(1 kW·m^(-2)).Furthermore,the superhydrophilic window device was used in this work to collect the condensed water,which avoids the light-blocking caused by the water mist formed by the small droplets and the problem of the droplets stick on the device dropping back to the bulk *** with the excellent photothermal conversion hydrogel and superhydrophilic window equipment,this work provides efficient evaporation and desalination of hydrogel-based solar evaporators in practical large-scale applications.

All-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)have made significant progress recently,but few studies have been conducted to investigate the lab-to-manufacturing translation from the spin-coating method to the printing ***,the random copolymerization method and non-conjugated backbone approach are integrated to manipulate the morphology and photoelectric properties of the active layer for large-area printed all-PSCs.A series of non-conjugated terpolymer acceptors PYSe-TC_(6)T(x)(x=5,10,and 20,refers to the molar ratio of TC_(6)T unit)are developed by covalently introducing non-conjugated unit TC_(6)T into the PYSe host bipolymer by random *** spin-coated PYSe-TC_(6)T(10)-based all-PSC demonstrates the best power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 13.54%,superior to the PYSe-based one(12.45%).More intriguingly,morphological studies reveal that a combination of the random polymerization and non-conjugated backbone strategy can effectively prevent the active layer from overaggregation and improve the film quality during the printing process,thereby minimizing the efficiency and technology gap between spin-coated small-area devices and blade-coated large-area *** directly using the same preparation condition of spin-coating,the blade-coated small-area(0.04 cm^(2))delivers a PCE of 12.83%and the large-area(1.21 cm^(2))device achieves a PCE of 11.96%with a small PCE *** PCE value and PCE loss are one of the most outstanding performances of the bladecoated *** findings reveal that a combination of the non-conjugated flexible backbone with random copolymerization to develop non-conjugated terpolymers is an attractive design concept to smoothly realize the lab-to-manufacturing translation.

Hydrogels, composed mainly of water trapped in three dimensional cross-linked polymer networks, have been widely utilized to construct underwater superoleophobic surfaces. However, the swelling nature and instability of hydrogels under complex marine environment will weaken their underwater superoleophobicity. Herein, we synthesize structured poly （2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate）（PHEMA） hydrogels by using sandpaper as templates. The robust non-swelling of PHEMA hydrogel ensures that micro/nano-structures on the surface of PHEMA hydrogels can be well maintained. Moreover, when roughness Ra of about 3-4 bun, the surface has superior oil-repellency. Additionally, even after immersing in seawater for one-month, their breaking strength and toughness can be well kept. The non-swellable hydrogels with long-term stable under seawater superoleophobicity will promote the development of robust superoleophobic materials in marine antifouling coatings, biomedical devices and oil/water separation.

Liquid-crystalline and light-emitting poly(2-alkyne)s containing terphenyl cores with hexamethyleneoxy spacers,and cyano or n-propoxy tails -[CH3C=C(CH2)6O-terphenyl-R]n-,where R=CN,CH3PA6CN,R=OCH2CH2CH3,CH3PA6OPr,were *** effects of the substitution and terminal groups on the properties,especially the mesomorphic and optical properties of the polymers,were *** disubstituted acetylene monomers (CH3A6CN,CH3A6OPr) were pre- pared through multistep reaction routes and were polymerized by WCl6-Ph4Sn in good yields (up to 82%).All the monomers and CH3PA6CN exhibited the enantiotropic SmA phase with a monolayer arrangement at elevated temperatures,whereas CH3PA6OPr formed a bilayer SmAd packing *** excitation at 330 nm,strong UV and blue emission peaks at 362 and 411 nm were observed in CH3PA6OPr and CH3PA6CN,*** luminescent properties of CH3PA6CN and CH3PA6OPr have been improved by introducing the methyl substituted group,and the quantum yield of the polymer with cyano tail CH3PA6CN (φ= 74%) was found to be higher than that of CH3PA6OPr (φ= 60%).Compared to polyacety- lene parents,both CH3PA6OPr and CH3PA6CN showed a narrower energy *** demonstrated that the electrical con- ductivities of polyacetylenes could be enhanced by attaching appropriate pendants to the conjugated polyene backbones.

Double-microbridge de superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs)have been fabricated from the postannealed Y_(1)Ba_(2)Cu_(3)O_(y) and Tl_(2)-Ba_(2)Ca_(2)Cu_(3)O_(y) thin films by chemical etching and ion milling patterning *** applied magnetic field dependences of the voltage of the YBCO and TBCCO SQUIDs have been studied at temperature ranging from 4.2 to 23K and at *** largest output voltage of the devices were 3.4μV/Φ_(0 )(at 5K)for YBCO and 60μV/Φ_(0)(at 77K)for *** properties of the output of these devices have been discussed.
