The unsteady magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)flow on a horizontal preamble surface with hybrid nanoparticles in the presence of the first order velocity and thermal slip conditions are ***(Al_(2)O_(3))and copper(Cu)are considered as hybrid nanoparticles that have been dispersed in water in order to make hybrid nanofluid(Cu-Al_(2)O_(3)/water).The system of similarity equations is derived from the system of partial differential equations(PDEs)by using variables of similarity,and their solutions are gotten with shooting method in the Maple *** certain ranges of unsteadiness and magnetic parameters,the presence of dual solutions can be ***,it is examined that layer separation is deferred due to the effect of the hybrid ***,the capacity of the thermal enhancement of Cu-Al_(2)O_(3)/water hybrid nanofluid is higher as compared to Al_(2)O_(3)/water based nanofluid and enhancements inCu are caused to rise the fluid temperature in both *** the last,solutions stability analyzes were also carried out and the first solution was found to be stable.

Model of Casson nanofluid flow over a nonlinear shrinking surface is *** of Tiwari and Das is applied to nanofluid comprising of sodium alginate with copper and *** governing nonlinear equations incorporating the effects of the viscous dissipation are transformed into boundary value problems (BVPs) of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by using appropriate similarity *** resulting equations are converted into initial value problems (IVPs) using the shooting method which are then solved by Runge-Kutta method of fourth *** order to determine the stability of the dual solutions obtained,stability analysis is performed and discovered that the first (second) solution is stable (unstable) and physically realizable (unrealizable).Both the thickness of the thermal boundary layer as well as temperature increase when the Casson parameter (β) is increased in the second solution.

Extracting information about emerging events in large study areas through spatiotemporal and textual analysis of geotagged tweets provides the possibility of monitoring the current state of a *** study proposes dynamic spatio-temporal tweet mining as a method for dynamic event extraction from geotagged tweets in large study *** introduces the use of a modified version of ordering points to identify the clustering structure to address the intrinsic heterogeneity of Twitter *** precisely calculate the textual similarity,three state-of-theart text embedding methods of Word2vec,GloVe,and Fast Text were used to capture both syntactic and semantic *** impact of selected embedding algorithms on the quality of the outputs was *** combinations of spatial and temporal distances with the textual similarity measure were investigated to improve the event detection *** proposed method was applied to a case study related to 2018 Hurricane *** method was able to precisely identify events of varied sizes and densities before,during,and after the *** feasibility of the proposed method was qualitatively evaluated using the Silhouette coefficient and qualitatively *** proposed method was also compared to an implementation based on the standard density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise algorithm,where it showed more promising results.

The amount of volunteered geographic information(VGI)has increased over the past decade,and several studies have been conducted to evaluate the quality of VGI *** this study,we evaluate the completeness of the road network in the VGI data set OpenStreetMap(OSM).The evaluation is based on an accurate and efficient network-matching *** study begins with a comparison of the two main strategies for network matching:segment-based and nodebased *** comparison shows that the result quality is comparable for the two strategies,but the node-based result is considerably more computationally ***,we improve the accuracy of node-based algorithm by handling topological relationships and detecting patterns of complicated network ***,we conduct a case study on the extended node-based algorithm in which we match OSM to the Swedish National Road Database(NVDB)in Scania,*** case study reveals that OSM has a completeness of 87%in the urban areas and 69%in the rural areas of *** accuracy of the matching process is approximately 95%.The conclusion is that the extended node-based algorithm is sufficiently accurate and efficient for conducting surveys of the quality of OSM and other VGI road data sets in large geographic regions.

There exist major challenges in accelerating the spatial data infrastructure(SDI)planning process in the developing countries as well as advocating for politicians to support the development of SDI,due to the high complexity of SDI,lack of knowledge and experience,and limited insight in the *** address these challenges,a methodology for SDI planning in Tanzania,based on the system dynamics technique and the communities of practice concept,was adopted and applied within a community consisting of experts from stakeholder *** groups gathered to develop an SDI plan,while they shared their knowledge and discussed their ideas that helped their understanding of *** running the system dynamics model,the development of SDI over time could be simulated that gave the planning community an insight about the future effects of today’s plans and ***,an optimum model could be developed by refinements and improvements done with the consensus of the SDI *** model included the components and policies that are essential for a successful SDI implementation in Tanzania and can be used as a basis for SDI planning and help to gain political *** learnt from this research were promising regarding the usability of the methodology for SDI planning in comparable countries.

Articular cartilage is a connective tissue consisting of a specialized extracellular matrix （ECM） that dominates the bulk of its wet and dry weight. Type Ⅱ collagen and aggrecan are the main ECM proteins in cartilage. However, little attention has been paid to less abundant molecular components, especially minor collagens, including type Ⅳ, Ⅵ, Ⅸ, Ⅹ, Ⅺ, Ⅻ, ⅩⅢ, and ⅩⅣ, etc. Although accounting for only a small fraction of the mature matrix, these minor collagens not only play essential structural roles in the mechanical properties, organization, and shape of articular cartilage, but also fulfil specific biological functions. Genetic studies of these minor collagens have revealed that they are associated with multiple connective tissue diseases, especially degenerative joint disease. The progressive destruction of cartilage involves the degradation of matrix constituents including these minor collagens. The generation and release of fragmented molecules could generate novel biochemical markers with the capacity to monitor disease progression, facilitate drug development and add to the existing toolbox for in vitro studies, preclinical research and clinical trials.

We study through electromagnetic modeling the absorption of light of a given wavelength in an array of horizontal In P nanowires of diameter less than 100 nm. Such absorption is performed most efficiently by using polarized light and by exciting a coupled optical resonance in a sparse array. In that case, we excite a resonance in the individual nanowires and couple the resonances in neighboring nanowires through a lattice resonance of the periodic *** such a resonance, an array with nanowires of 80 nm in diameter can absorb more than eight times more strongly than a tight-packed array, despite containing a seven times smaller amount of the absorbing InP material.

We report on electrical and optical properties of p＋-i-n＋ photodetectors/solar cells based on square millimeter arrays of InP nanowires （NWs） grown on InP substrates. The study includes a sample series where the p＋-segment length was varied between 0 and 250 nm, as well as solar cells with 9.3% efficiency with similar design. The electrical data for all devices display clear rectifying behavior with an ideality factor between 1.8 and 2.5 at 300 K. From spectrally resolved photocurrent measurements, we conclude that the photocurrent generation process depends strongly on the p^-segment length. Without a p＋-segment, photogenerated carriers funneled from the substrate into the NWs contribute strongly to the photocurrent. Adding a p＋-segment decouples the substrate and shifts the depletion region, and collection of photogenerated carriers, to the NWs, in agreement with theoretical modeling. In optimized solar cells, clear spectral signatures of interband transitions in the zinc blende and wurtzite InP layers of the mixed-phase i-segments are observed. Complementary electroluminescence, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, as well as measurements of the dependence of the photocurrent on angle of incidence and polarization, support our interpretations.
