Soil erosion is a crucial geo-environmental hazard worldwide that affects water quality and agriculture,decreases reservoir storage capacity due to sedimentation,and increases the danger of flooding and ***,this study uses geospatial modeling to produce soil erosion susceptibility maps(SESM)for the Hangu region,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KPK),*** Hangu region,located in the Kohat Plateau of KPK,Pakistan,is particularly susceptible to soil erosion due to its unique geomorphological and climatic ***,the Hangu region is characterized by a combination of steep slopes,variable rainfall patterns,diverse land use,and distinct soil types,all of which contribute to the complexity and severity of soil erosion *** factors necessitate a detailed and region-specific study to develop effective soil conservation *** this research,we detected and mapped 1013 soil erosion points and prepared 12 predisposing factors(elevation,aspect,slope,Normalized Differentiate Vegetation Index(NDVI),drainage network,curvature,Land Use Land Cover(LULC),rainfall,lithology,contour,soil texture,and road network)of soil erosion using GIS ***,GIS-based statistical models like the weight of evidence(WOE)and frequency ratio(FR)were applied to produce the SESM for the study *** SESM was reclassified into four classes,i.e.,low,medium,high,and very high *** results of WOE for SESM show that 16.39%,33.02%,29.27%,and 21.30%of areas are covered by low,medium,high,and very high zones,*** contrast,the FR results revealed that 16.50%,24.33%,35.55%,and 23.59%of the areas are occupied by low,medium,high,and very high ***,the reliability of applied models was evaluated using the Area Under Curve(AUC)*** validation results utilizing the area under curve showed that the success rate curve(SRC)and predicted rate curve(PRC)for WOE are 82%and 86%,respectively,while SRC and PRC for FR are 85%and 96%,res

The Zhob ophiolite comprises the Naweoba, Omzha and ali Khanzai blocks, which are surrounded by the sediments of the Alozai Group and Loralai Formation. The ali Khanzai Block contains metamorphic, ultramafic, gabbroic, volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks with associated chert. The Zhob manganese deposits found in the ali Khanzai Block, occur in banded, lenticular and massive forms within red to brown coloured metachert. Braunite and pyrolusite are the main constituent manganese-bearing minerals with minor hausmannite, hematite and barite while quartz is the major gangue mineral with some carbonate minerals. Geochemical evidence from the major oxides indicates that the manganese mineralization and associated metachert at Zhob were formed by hydrothermal activity with little contribution from contemporaneous volcanic materials and this is confirmed by high Fe/Mn and low Co/Zn ratios and trace element patterns. These deposits formed along with seafloor spreading centres and were later obducted as part of ali Khanzai Block of Zhob ophiolite.

Natural Propulsion with Lorentz Force and Nanoparticles in a Bioinspired Lopsided Ciliated Channel

The transportation of biological and industrial nanofluids by natural propulsion like cilia movement and self-generated contraction-relaxation of flexible walls has tremendous applications in various fields. Inspired by multidisciplinary invention in this direction, a fuid mechanical model is proposed to study the Magneto-hydrodynamics （MHD） and heat transfer for nanofluids fabricated by the dispersion of nanoparticles in water as base fluid. The steady flow is induced by metachronal wave propulsion due to beating cilia. The flow regime is asymmetric channel. The flow is restricted under the low Reynolds number and long wavelength approximations. Cilia boundary conditions for velocity components are employed to find the exact solutions. The impacts of pertinent physical parameters on temperature profile, velocity profile, pressure, and stream lines are computed numerically. It is observed that velocity is inversely proportional to magnetic Reynolds number, Reynolds number, Strommer＇s number and velocity is directly proportional to flow rate. It is analyzed that temperature is inversely proportional to Strommer＇s number and magnetic Reynolds number and directly proportional to Brinkmann number and flow rate. The temperature is maximum at the center of the channel and it starts decreasing towards the boundary walls.

Dementia is a disorder with high societal impact and severe consequences for its patients who suffer from a progressive cognitive decline that leads to increased morbidity,mortality,and *** there is a consensus that dementia is a multifactorial disorder,which portrays changes in the brain of the affected individual as early as 15 years before its onset,prediction models that aim at its early detection and risk identification should consider these *** study aims at presenting a novel method for ten years prediction of dementia using on multifactorial data,which comprised 75 *** are two automated diagnostic systems developed that use genetic algorithms for feature selection,while artificial neural network and deep neural network are used for dementia *** proposed model based on genetic algorithm and deep neural network had achieved the best accuracy of 93.36%,sensitivity of 93.15%,specificity of 91.59%,MCC of 0.4788,and performed superior to other 11 machine learning techniques which were presented in the past for dementia *** identified best predictors were:age,past smoking habit,history of infarct,depression,hip fracture,single leg standing test with right leg,score in the physical component summary and history of TIA/*** identification of risk factors is imperative in the dementia research as an effort to prevent or delay its onset.

Infield superconducting properties of nano-sized Ag added Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca2Cu3O10-δ

Infield superconducting properties of {(Ag)/CUTl-1223};(x = 0, 0.5,1.***.2.0 and 4.0 wt %) nanoparticlessuperconductor composites were investigated under different applied magnetic field up to H = 8 T. The increase in critical temperature {T(0)} and decrease in normal state resistivity(p) were observed with increasing contents of Ag nanoparticles in CuTl-1223 superconducting matrix. The value of T(K) remained almost unaffected by applying external magnetic field, but a decreasing trend in T(0) was observed by increasing the value of external applied magnetic field. The transition region below T(K) showed Arrhenius behavior due to thermally activated flow of magnetic vortices. Enhancement in flux flow activation energy(U) and suppression in transition width(ΔT) of CuTl-1223 phase with addition of Ag nanoparticles showed the improvement in flux pinning strength of superconductor.

Dielectric properties of (Zn)x/CuTl-1223 nanoparticle-superconductor composites

Zinc (Zn) nanoparticles and (Cu_(0.5)Tl_(0.5))Ba2Ca2Cu3O_(10-δ)(CuTl-1223) superconducting phase were prepared separately by sol-gel and solid-state reaction methods, respectively. Zn nanoparticles were added in CuTl-1223 superconducting matrix with different weight percentage during the final sintering process to obtain (Zn)_x/CuTl-1223 (x = 0-4 wt%) nanoparticle-superconductor composites. The effect of Zn nanoparticles on structural, morphological, superconducting, and dielectric properties of CuTl-1223 phase was investigated. The addition of these Zn nanoparticles has not affected the crystal structure of host CuTl-1223 superconducting phase. Superconducting properties were enhanced after the addition of Zn nanoparticles up to certain optimum content (i.e., x = 1 wt%), which were due to improved inter-grain connectivity by healing up of micro-cracks and reduction of defects like oxygen deficiencies, etc. The activation energy (U) was increased after the addition of Zn nanoparticles in CuTl-1223 phase. The dielectric properties of these samples (i.e., dielectric constant, dielectric loss) were determined by experimentally measured capacitance (C) and conductance (G) as a function of frequency at room temperature. The addition of metallic Zn nanoparticles in CuTl-1223 matrix has overall suppressed the dielectric parameters of (ZnVCuTl-1223 nanoparticle-superconductor composites. The metallic Zn nanoparticles played a significant role in inter-grain couplings by filling the voids and pores.

Correction of array failure using grey wolf optimizer hybridized with an interior point algorithm

We design a grey wolf optimizer hybridized with an interior point algorithm to correct a faulty antenna array. If a single sensor fails, the radiation power pattern of the entire array is disturbed in terms of sidelobe level（SLL） and null depth level（NDL）, and nulls are damaged and shifted from their original locations. All these issues can be solved by designing a new fitness function to reduce the error between the preferred and expected radiation power patterns and the null limitations. The hybrid algorithm has been designed to control the array＇s faulty radiation power pattern. Antenna arrays composed of 21 sensors are used in an example simulation scenario. The MATLAB simulation results confirm the good performance of the proposed method, compared with the existing methods in terms of SLL and NDL.

The putative Jambil meta-carbonatites of Swat,northern Pakistan,occur as discrete intrusions into the Proterozoic Manglaur Formation,which are difficult to be distinguished from nearby calc-silicate marble because both rock types experienced regional metamorphism during Himalayan orogenesis that resulted in similar mosaic textures and mineral *** are often significant repositories of economic mineral resources and,therefore,are important to be distinguished from calc-silicate *** present new geochemical and geochronology data to distinguish between the two rock types and interpret the petrogenesis and tectonic evolution of the Jambil *** rock chemical data from the Jambil meta-carbonatites show characteristically high rare earth element(REE),Sr contents and lack of negative Eu anomaly,consistent with average calcio-carbonatite values worldwide and an igneous *** than 0.5 wt.% SrO in the metacarbonatites and SrO> 0.15 wt.% in constituent rock forming calcite are discriminating signatures of the Jambil ***,the Jambil meta-carbonatites are relatively depleted in Rb,Nb,Ta,Ti,Zr and Hf,relatively enriched in Ba,Th,Sr,and have a high LREE/HREE ratio when normalized to primitive *** carbon and oxygen isotope compositions vary from-3.5‰ to-4.3‰and from 9.7‰ to 12.3‰,*** geochemical characteristics indicate generation of the carbonatites through small degree of partial melting from a carbonated eclogitic ***-situ,U/Pb analysis of titanite indicates that the Jambil meta-carbonatites were emplacement at 438 ±3 *** combined with regional geological observations,we interpret the emplacement of the Jambil metacarbonatites to have taken place during the Silurian back arc extension within greater Gondwana and mark a transition from a compressional tectonic regime,brought about by collision of microcontinental blocks along the northern margin of Gondwana,to post-orogenic
