Dermatomyositis, an idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, is characterized by distinctive skin manifestations, proximal muscle w.akness, and multiple organ involvement and can be accompanied by malignancies. To provide a reference for dermatologists and clinicians in other relevant fields of clinical practice, experts from the Dermatology Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Health Care and the National Clinical Research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases developed this consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of adult dermatomyositis using Chinese and international literature and expert advice. © 2024 w.lters Kluw.r Health. Interface property of dissimilar Ti-6Al-4V/AA1050 composite laminate made by non-equal channel lateral co-extrusion and heat treatment

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of processing parameters and subsequent heat treatments on the microstructures and bonding strengths of Ti-6Al-4V/AA1050 laminations formed via a non-equal channel lateral co-extrusion *** microstructural evolution and grow.h mechanism in the diffusion layer w.re discussed further to optimize the bonding quality by appropriately adj.sting process *** electron microscopes(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS),and X-ray diffraction(XRD)w.re used to characterize interfacial diffusion *** shear test w.s used to determine the mechanical properties of the interfacial diffusion *** experimental results indicate that it is possible to co-extrusion Ti-6Al-4V/AA1050 compound profiles using non-equal channel lateral *** heat treatment processes affect the thickness of the diffusion *** the temperature and time of heat treatment increase,the thickness of the reaction layers increases ***,the shear strength of the Ti-6Al-4V/AA1050 composite interface is proportional to the diffusion layer *** is observed that a medium interface thickness results in superior mechanical performance w.en compared to neither a greater nor a lesser interface *** characterization of all heat treatments reveals that the only intermetallic compound observed in the diffusion layers is TiAl_(3).Due to the inter-diffusion of Ti and Al atoms,the TiAl_(3) layer grow. primarily at AA1050/TiAl_(3) interfaces.

Thermodynamic property of sandw.ch cylindrical shell structure w.th metallic w.re mesh:Numerical modeling and experimental analysis

As a new.addition to lightw.ight composite structures,the sandw.ch cylindrical shell w.th a metallic w.re mesh core has emerged as a promising solution for thermodynamic performance analysis at elevated *** intricate interw.ven cellular formations w.thin the metallic w.re mesh pose difficulties for thermo-mechanical modeling and property ***,the constitutive models employed to characterize hysteresis phenomena w.re presented,comprising isotropic elasticity,Bergstrom-Boyce model,Ogden hyper-elasticity,and parameter identification through mechanical examinations at varying ***,the finite element modeling of cylindrical shell structures w.s determined for modal and steady-state dynamic ***,the experimental procedures w.re carried out,including the preparation of the sandw.ch cylindrical shell and the dynamic testing *** first-order natural frequency of the cylindrical shell structure is close to the resonance frequency of the dynamic test results,w.th a maximum error of 6.5%,demonstrating the accuracy of the simulation *** compared to the solid-core cylindrical shell,the average insertion loss of the sandw.ch cylindrical shell structure w.thin the frequency range of 10–1000 Hz at room temperature is up to 11.09 ***,at elevated temperatures,the average insertion loss of the sandw.ch cylindrical shell decreases but fluctuates as the temperature changes.

Background:Prolonged sitting and reduced physical activity lead to low.energy ***,little is know. about the j.int impact of daily sitting time and physical activity on body fat *** investigated the independent and j.int associations of daily sitting time and physical activity w.th body fat among ***:This w.s a cross-sectional analysis of *** representative data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey2011-2018 among adults aged 20 years or *** sitting time and leisure-time physical activity(LTPA)w.re self-reported using the Global Physical Activity *** fat(total and trunk fat percentage)w.s determined via dual X-ray ***:Among 10,808 adults,about 54.6%spent 6 h/day or more sitting;more than one-half reported no LTPA(inactive)or less than 150 min/w.ek LTPA(insufficiently active)w.th only 43.3%reported 150 min/w.ek or more LTPA(active)in the past *** fully adj.sting for sociodemographic data,lifestyle behaviors,and chronic conditions,prolonged sitting time and low.levels of LTPA w.re associated w.th higher total and trunk fat percentages in both *** stratifying by LTPA,the association betw.en daily sitting time and body fat appeared to be stronger in those w.o w.re inactive/insuufficiently *** the j.int analyses,inactive/insuufficiently active adults w.o reported sitting more than 8 h/day had the highest total(female:3.99%(95%confidence interval(95%CI):3.09%-4.88%);male:3.79%(95%CI:2.75%-4.82%))and trunk body fat percentages(female:4.21%(95%CI:3.09%-5.32%);male:4.07%(95%CI:2.95%-5.19%))w.en compared w.th those w.o w.re active and sitting less than 4 h/***:Prolonged daily sitting time w.s associated w.th increased body fat among *** higher body fat associated w.th 6 h/day sitting may not be offset by achieving recommended levels of physical activity.

w. herein report 2 cases of multiple lobular capillary hemangiomas after scalding. The patients exhibited papules and nodules on the scalded areas after healing. Histopathological examination of the lesions show.d capillary proliferation in the upper dermis w.th edematous stroma containing inflammatory infiltrates predominantly composed of neutrophils. Biopsy tissue and secretion specimens from lesions of case 1 w.re cultured for bacteria, and both grew.Enterobacter cloacae. Ultrastructural examination revealed features typical of a lobular capillary hemangioma and viral inclusion bodies in the epidermis of case 1. Multiple lobular capillary hemangiomas after scalding are rarely reported. Trauma may play an important role in the development of this rare condition. Accumulation of similar cases and its precise observation is needed to confirm the associations and to establish an etiological link betw.en the disease and the pathogens.

Ignition processes and characteristics of charring conductive polymers w.th a cavity geometry in precombustion chamber for applications in micro/nano satellite hybrid rocket motors

The arc ignition system based on charring polymers has advantages of simple structure,low.ignition pow.r consumption and multiple ignitions,w.ich bringing it broadly application prospect in hybrid propulsion system of micro/nano ***,charring polymers alone need a relatively high input voltage to achieve pyrolysis and ignition,w.ich increases the burden and cost of the pow.r system of micro/nano satellite in practical *** conductive substance into charring polymers can effectively decrease the conducting voltage w.ich can realize low.voltage and low.pow.r consumption repeated ignition of arc ignition *** this paper,a charring conductive polymer ignition grain w.th a cavity geometry in precombustion chamber,w.ich is composed of PLA and multiw.ll carbon nanotubes(Mw.NT)w.s *** detailed ignition processes w.re analyzed and tw. different ignition mechanisms in the cavity of charring conductive polymers w.re *** ignition characteristics of charring conductive polymers w.re also investigated at different input voltages,ignition grain structures,ignition locations and inj.ction schemes in a visual ignition *** results demonstrated that the ignition delay and external energy required for ignition w.re inversely correlated w.th the voltages applied to ignition ***,the incremental depth of cavity shortened the ignition delay and external energy required for ignition w.ile accelerated the propagation of *** the depth of cavity increased from 2 to 6 mm(at 50 V),the time of flame propagating out of ignition grain changed from 235.6 to 108 ms,and values of mean ignition delay time and mean external energy required for ignition decreased from 462.8 to 320 ms and 16.2 to 10.75 j.*** rear side of the cavity w.s the ideal ignition position w.ich had a shorter ignition delay and a faster flame propagation speed in comparison to other ignition *** to direct inj.ction scheme,sw.rlin

The development of degradable and recyclable polymers is an attractive strategy to tackle the post-consumption pollution issue of commercial ***-acyclic monomers metathesis polymerization(CAMMP)has been recently reported to produce degradable thermoset,thermoplastic and elastomeric polymers,and their degradability is enabled w.th addition of various *** this contribution,w. demonstrate that the utilization of diene comonomers containing photodegradable moiety can give access to thermoset and thermoplastic materials bearing photo-degradation *** copolymerization of a series easily accessible diene comonomers bearing photodegradable ortho-nitrobenzyl moieties w.th dicyclopentadiene(DCPD)or cyclooctene(COE)leads to the formation of photodegradable p DCPD thermosets and p COE thermoplastic polymers w.th mechanical properties comparable to their non-degradable *** importantly,their photo-degradation properties can be efficiently tuned w.th the addition of ultraviolet absorber during in-situ polymerization.
