The frictional rupture mechanisms of rock discontinuities considering the dynamic load disturbance still remain *** paper investigates the transitional behaviors of slip events happened on a planar granite fracture under cyclic normal stress with diferent oscillation *** experimental results show that the activations of fast slips always correlate with unloading of normal ***,the intensive normal stress oscillation can weaken the shear strength which is recoverable when the normal stress return to *** rupture patterns are quantifed by stress drop,slip length and slip *** the efect of small oscillation amplitudes,the slip events show chaotic shapes,compared to the regular and predictable style under constant normal *** the amplitude is large enough,the big and small slip events emerge alternately,showing a compound slip *** amplitude of the cyclic normal stress also widens the interval diferences of the slip *** work provides experimental supports for a convincible link between the dynamic stress disturbance and the slip behavior of rock fractures.

The two-dimensional(2D)C3 N has emerged as a material with promising applications in high performance device owing to its intrinsic bandgap and tunable electronic *** there are several reports about the bandgap tuning of C3 N via stacking or forming nanoribbon,bandgap modulation of bilayer C3 N nanoribbons(C3NNRS)with various edge structures is still far from well ***,based on extensive first-principles calculations,we demonstrated the effective bandgap engineering of C3 N by cutting it into hydrogen passivated C3 NNRS and stacking them into bilayer *** was found that armchair(AC)C3 NNRS with three types of edge structures are all semiconductors,while only zigzag(ZZ)C3NNRS with edges composed of both C and N atoms(ZZCN/CN)are *** bandgaps of all semiconducting C3 NNRS are larger than that of C3 N *** interestingly,AC-C3 NNRS with CN/CN edges(AC-CN/CN)possess direct bandgap while ZZ-CN/CN have indirect *** with the monolayer C3 NNR,the bandgaps of bilayer C3NNRS can be greatly modulated via different stacking orders and edge structures,varying from 0.43 eV for ZZ-CN/CN with AB’-stacking to 0.04 eV for AC-CN/CN with ***,transition from direct to indirect bandgap was observed in the bilayer AC-CN/CN heterostructure with AA^stacking,and the indirect-to-direct transition was found in the bilayer ZZ-CN/CN with *** work provides insights into the effective bandgap engineering of C3 N and offers a new opportunity for its applications in nano-electronics and optoelectronic devices.

This study proposed a measurement platform for continuous blood pressure estimation based on dual photoplethysmography(PPG)sensors and a deep learning(DL)that can be used for continuous and rapid measurement of blood pressure and analysis of cardiovascular-related *** proposed platform measured the signal changes in PPG and converted them into physiological indicators,such as pulse transit time(PTT),pulse wave velocity(PWV),perfusion index(PI)and heart rate(HR);these indicators were then fed into the DL to calculate blood *** hardware of the experiment comprised 2 PPG components(i.e.,Raspberry Pi 3 Model B and analog-todigital converter[MCP3008]),which were connected using a serial peripheral *** DL algorithm converted the stable dual PPG signals acquired from the strictly standardized experimental process into various physiological indicators as input parameters and finally obtained the systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and mean arterial pressure(MAP).To increase the robustness of the DL model,this study input data of 100 Asian participants into the training database,including those with and without cardiovascular disease,each with a proportion of approximately 50%.The experimental results revealed that the mean absolute error and standard deviation of SBP was 0.17±0.46 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of DBP was 0.27±0.52 *** mean absolute error and standard deviation of MAP was 0.16±0.40 mmHg.

Nanocrystalline silicon embedded SiO2 matrix is formed by annealing the SiOx films fabricated by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition technique. In conjunction with the micro-Raman spectra, the absorption spectra of the films have been investigated. The blue-shift of absorption edge with decreasing size of silicon crystallites is due to quantum confinement effect. It is found that nanocrystalline silicon is of an indirect band structure, and that the absorption presents an exponential dependence of absorption coefficient on photon energy in the range of 2.0-3.0eV, and a sub-band appears in the range of 1.0-1.5eV. We believe that the exponential absorption is due to the indirect band-to-band transition of electrons in silicon nanocrystallites, while the sub-band absorption is ascribed to transitions between the amorphous silicon states existing in the films.

This paper discussed the pathogenesis and the principle of treatment of the dry cough with yellow greasy coating. Combined the clinic observation with the TCM theory, we found that the main reasons about this dry cough are dryness in lung and stagnated phlegm. And heavy dosages herbs which can nourish Yin and clear away the heat should be adopted.

AIM： To evaluate the predictive value of neutrophil in- filtration as a marker of Helicobacter pylori （H. pyloni） infection. METHODS： A total of 315 patients with dyspepsia symptoms who underwent upper gastrointestinal en- doscopy were enrolled in this study. Biopsies were evaluated using the updated Sydney system. The medication history of all patients in the preceding 4 wk was recorded. The diagnosis of H. pylori infection was based on 13C-urea breath test at least 4 wk after with- drawal of antisecretory drugs, antibiotics and related drugs. For the patients with subtotal gastrectomy, the diagnosis of H. pylori infection was based on anti-H. pylori immunoglobulin G （IgG） antibody. Serum anti-H. pylori IgG antibody was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays （Biohit, Finland）. RESULTS： The sensitivity, specificity, positive predic- tive value and negative predictive value of neutrophil infiltration in the diagnosis ofH, pylorlinfection were 92.3%, 83.5%, 77.4% and 94.7%, respectively. Neu- trophil infiltration of gastric mucosa in the histological analysis was strongly associated withH, pylorlinfection （77.4% vs 5.3% in the neutrophil infiltration negative group, P = 0.000）. Moderate neutrophil infiltration was more frequent in H. pylorl infection when compared to mild infiltration （81.8% and 75%, respectively）, but did not reach statistical significance. For those patients with negative rapid urease test, H. pylori was detected in 73.2% of patients with positive neutrophil infiltration on histology. In patients with subtotal gastrectomy, the diagnostic accuracy of neutrophil infiltration in H. pylori infection was 50%. CONCLUSION： Neutrophil infiltration is closely associ- ated withH, pylori and may be recognized as a sign of this infection.

The photocatalytic performances in the photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride(TC) of ZnSb2O4 and ZnSb2O6 synthesized by hydrothermal method were *** effects of synthesis conditions including reaction temperature, reaction time, precursor solution pH, and the amount of hydrazine hydrate on the photocatalytic activity were *** ZnSb2O4 and ZnSb2O6 photocatalysts prepared under optimal conditions exhibited similar photocatalytic activities for the degradation of TC. However, the areal photoctalytic activity of ZnSb2O4 was 12 times higher than that of ZnSb2O6 because of their different electronic and geometric structures. The photocatalytic degradation mechanisms of TC over ZnSb2O4 and ZnSb2O6 were proposed. Our work will facilitate the development of composite oxides consisting of p-block metal ions as new semiconductor photocatalysts.
