Oxidative stress-induced circSOD2 inhibits osteogenesis through sponging miR-29b in metabolic-associated fatty liver disease

Automatic pectoral muscle boundary detection in mammograms based on Markov chain and active contour model

Automatic pectoral muscle removal on medio-lateral oblique (MLO) view of mammogram is an essential step for many mammographic processing algorithms. However,it is still a very difficult task since the sizes,the shapes and the intensity contrasts of pectoral muscles change greatly from one MLO view to another. In this paper,we propose a novel method based on a discrete time Markov chain (DTMC) and an active contour model to automatically detect the pectoral muscle boundary. DTMC is used to model two important characteristics of the pectoral muscle edge,i.e.,continuity and uncertainty. After obtaining a rough boundary,an active contour model is applied to refine the detection results. The experimental results on images from the Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM) showed that our method can overcome many limitations of existing algorithms. The false positive (FP) and false negative (FN) pixel percentages are less than 5% in 77.5% mammograms. The detection precision of 91% meets the clinical requirement.

Expression of BC047440 protein in hepatocellular carcinoma and its relationship to prognosis

Background and Objective: BC047440 is a new gene related to cancer growth and proliferation. Due to the lack of specific antibodies, how BC047440 protein influences the liver cancer growth is unclear. This study aimed to determine the relationship between BC047440 protein expression and clinicopathologic parameters of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and to evaluate the prognostic value of BC047440 for HCC patients. Methods: We prepared the polyclonal antibodies of BC047440, and used Western blot and immunohistochemical staining to detect BC047440 expression in 68 specimens of HCC. The correlations of BC047440 expression to clinicopathologic features and prognosis of HCC patients were analyzed. Results: The polyclonal antibodies could effectively recognize endogenous BC047440 in HCC tissues. The positive rate of BC047440 protein was significantly higher in HCCs than in adjacent tissues (44.1% vs. 23.5%, P < 0.05); the rate was significantly higher in patients with larger tumor (P < 0.05) and portal vein invasion (P <0.01). The HCC patients with high BC047440 expression showed a significantly poorer prognosis than those with low BC047440 expression (P < 0.05). Conclusion: BC047440 can promote the growth and invasion of HCC.

铁电陶瓷材料在外场加载下的畴变所引起的材料结构变化,是导致材料性能衰变和破坏的主要原因,Raman光谱技术是一种研究铁电材料畴变和微结构变化的无损伤性及原位微区的观测方法。采用传统固相法合成Zr/Ti原子比为53/478的掺镧锆钛酸铅(PLZT)铁电陶瓷材料,采用X射线衍射仪和扫描电子显微镜及Precision_LC铁电测试系统分别对试样进行结构形貌表征和铁电物理性能测试,利用自制的应力加载装置与Raman光谱仪联用,实现不同压应力场作用下试样的原位Raman谱测试,考察和分析Raman谱软模E(2TO)和E(3TO+2LO)+B1的峰强和峰位随散射偏振方向的变化规律。结果表明,不同压应力场下Raman软模E(2TO)和E(3TO+2LO)+B1的峰强均随散射偏振角度呈现正弦式的变化规律,在60°偏振角度上软模峰强最大,在150°偏振角度上软模峰强最小。随着压应力场的增加,在0°和60°偏振角度获得的软模峰强随应力场的增加呈现明显的下降趋势,而在90°和150°偏振角度获得的软模峰强基本不变。压应力场变化对PLZT陶瓷的Raman软模E(2TO)和E(3TO+2LO)+B1的峰位均不产生影响。

Reversible li plating regulation on graphite anode through a barium sulfate nanofibers-based dielectric separator for fast charging and high-safety lithium-ion battery

Poor li plating reversibility and high thermal runaway risks are key challenges for fast charging lithiumion batteries with graphite ***,a dielectric and fire-resistant separator based on hybrid nanofibers of barium sulfate（BS） and bacterial cellulose（BC） is developed to synchronously enhance the battery's fast charging and thermal-safety *** regulation mechanism of the dielectric BS/BC separator in enhancing the li+ion transport and li plating reversibility is revealed.（1） The Max-Wagner polarization electric field of the dielectric BS/BC separator can accelerate the desolvation of solvated li+ions,enhancing their transport kinetics.（2） Moreover,due to the charge balancing effect,the dielectric BS/BC separator homogenizes the electric field/li+ion flux at the graphite anode-separator interface,facilitating uniform li plating and suppressing li dendrite ***,the fast-charge graphite anode with the BS/BC separator shows higher Coulombic efficiency（99.0% vs.96.9%） and longer cycling lifespan（100 cycles vs.59 cycles） than that with the polypropylene（PP） separator in the constantlithiation cycling test at 2 mA *** high-loading liFePO4(15.5 mg cm-2)//graphite(7.5 mg cm-2) full cell with the BS/BC separator exhibits excellent fast charging performance,retaining 70% of its capacity after 500 cycles at a high rate of 2C,which is significantly better than that of the cell with the PP separator（retaining only 27% of its capacity after 500 cycles）.More importantly,the thermally stable BS/BC separator effectively elevates the critical temperature and reduces the heat release rate during thermal runaway,thereby significantly enhancing the battery's safety.

“One stone, two birds”: Salt template enabling porosity engineering and single metal atom coordinating toward high-performance zinc-ion capacitors

Zinc-ion hybrid capacitors (ZIHCs) have received increasing attention as energy storage devices owing to their low cost,high safety,and environmental ***,their progress has been hampered by low energy and power density,as well as unsatisfactory long-cycle stability,mainly due to the lack of suitable electrode *** this context,we have developed manganese single atoms implanted in nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanosheets (MnSAs/NCNs) using a metal salt template method as cathodes for *** metal salt serves a dual purpose in the synthesis process:It facilitates the uniform dispersion of Mn atoms within the carbon matrix and acts as an activating agent to create the porous *** applied in ZIHCs,the MnSAs/NCNs electrode demonstrates exceptional performance,including a high capacity of 203 m Ah g^(-1),an energy density of 138 Wh kg^(-1)at 68 W kg^(-1),and excellent cycle stability with 91%retention over 10,000 *** calculations indicate that the introduced Mn atoms modulate the local charge distribution of carbon materials,thereby improving the electrochemical *** work demonstrates the significant potential of carbon materials with metal atoms in zinc-ion hybrid capacitors,not only in enhancing electrochemical performance but also in providing new insights and methods for developing high-performance energy storage devices.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:variation and optimization of bed resistance

As the bed depth increases,sintering yield increases,but the productivity *** reveal the reasons for the decrease in productivity and explore targeted solutions,the bed resistance of mixtures,wet zone,and combustion zone was analyzed in the *** results showed that the decreased porosity of mixture resulted in the increased bed resistance by 160.56%when the bed depth increased from 600 to 1000 *** improving porosity of 1%by adding loosening bars with optimized size and distribution,the bed resistance decreased,and the productivity increased by 5%.The increase in bed depth increased the thickness of the wet zone from 120 to 680 mm and the resistance from 1.56 to 8.83 *** using a three-stage intensive mixer and pre-adding water for granulation,the moisture of mixture was reduced by 0.6%,and the sintering productivity increased by 4%.Besides,the high bed resistance is mainly caused by the increase in the thickness of the combustion zone from 31.9 to 132.7 mm,and the bed resistance increased from 0.70 to 5.62 *** bed resistance of the combustion zone at 900 mm was increased by 90.51%compared to 700 *** optimization of the distribution of coke breeze,the thickness of combustion zone at the lower layer decreased from 132.7 to 106.84 mm and permeability improved significantly.
