Based on the potential-energy-surface calculation,the impact of different deformation degrees of freedom on a single-particle structure and binding energies in nuclei around^(152)Nd,located on one of the hexadecapole-deformation islands,is analyzed in a multi-dimensional deformation *** energy maps,curves and tables are presented to indicate nuclear *** calculated equilibrium deformations and binding energies with different potential parameters are compared with experimental data and other *** is found that the inclusion of the hexadecapole deformations,especially the axial one,can improve the theoretical description of both nuclear shapes and *** addition,our calculated potential-energy curve shows that a critical deformation-point,β_(2)≈0.4,exists—the triaxial(hexadecapole)deformation effect can be neglectable but the hexadecapole(triaxial)one plays an important role before(after)such a critical point.

Brassicaceae represents an important plant family from both a scientific and economic ***,genomic features related to the early diversification of this family have not been fully characterized,especially upon the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau,which was followed by increasing aridity in the Asian interior,intensifying monsoons in Eastern Asia,and significantly fluctuating daily ***,we reveal the genomic architecture that accompanied early Brassicaceae diversification by analyzing two high-quality chromosome-level genomes for Meniocus linifolius(Arabodae;clade D)and Tetracme quadricornis(Hesperodae;clade E),together with genomes representing all major Brassicaceae clades and the basal *** reconstructed an ancestral core Brassicaceae karyotype(CBK)containing 9 pseudochromosomes with 65 conserved syntenic genomic blocks and identified 9702 conserved genes in *** detected pervasive conflicting phylogenomic signals accompanied by widespread ancient hybridization events,which correlate well with the early divergence of core *** identified a successive Brassicaceae-specific expansion of the class I TREHALOSE-6-PHOSPHATE SYNTHASE 1(TPS1)gene family,which encodes enzymes with essential regulatory roles in flowering time and embryo *** TPS1s were mainly randomly amplified,followed by expression *** results provide fresh insights into historical genomic features coupled with Brassicaceae evolution and offer a potential model for broad-scale studies of adaptive radiation under an ever-changing environment.

The level spectra of neutron-rich Sb isotopes have been investigated within a shell-model space containing cross-shell excitations and the intruder orbit i_(13/2).High-spin levels(27/2^(-))and(29/2^(-))in 135 Sb are taken over by the monopole effect induced by orbit i_(13/2).The ground state and excited levels in ^(136)Sb are well improved by considering the monopole correction between neutron orbits f_(7/2) and h_(9/2).The energy shrinking of the first excited state 5/2^(+)in ^(135,137)Sb isotopes is explained by theπd_(5/2) shift due to the attractiveπd5/2νf_(7/2) monopole interaction when increasingly more neutrons occupy orbit f_(7/2).The ground state of ^(139)Sb is predicted as 5/2^(+)owing to the shrinking of the 5/2^(+)states in Sb isotopes that causes ground state inversion when N=*** monopole effects extend the applicable range of the present Hamiltonian to nuclei with more neutrons above the N=82 *** Hamiltonian will be public,and researchers are encouraged to contact the authors.

Based on the Monte Carlo approach and conventional error analysis theory,taking the heaviest doubly magic nucleus 208Pb as an example,we first evaluate the propagated uncertainties of universal potential parameters for three typical types of single-particle energy in the phenomenological Woods–Saxon mean *** the Woods–Saxon modeling with uncorrelated model parameters,we found that the standard deviations of singleparticle energy obtained through the Monte Carlo simulation and the error propagation rules are in good *** seems that the energy uncertainty of the single-particle levels regularly evoluate with certain quantum numbers to a large extent for the given parameter ***,the correlation properties of the single-particle levels within the domain of input parameter uncertainties are statistically analyzed,for example,with the aid of Pearson’s correlation *** was found that a positive,negative,or unrelated relationship may appear between two selected single-particle levels,which will be extremely helpful for evaluating the theoretical uncertainty related to the single-particle levels(e.g.,K isomer)in nuclear structural calculations.

Large specific surface area is critical for Li4Ti5O12 to achieve good rate capacity and cycling stability, since it can increase the contact area between electrolyte/ electrode and shorten the transport paths for electrons and lithium ions. In this study, hierarchical hollow Li4Ti5O12 urchin-like microspheres with ultra-high specific surface area of over 140 m2·g^-1 and diameter more than 500 nm have been successfully synthesized by combining the versatile sol-gel process and a hydrothermal reaction, and exhibit excellent electrochemical performance with a high specific capacity of 120 mA-h.g-1 at 20 C and long cycling stability of 〈 2% decay after 100 cycles. Ex situ electron energy loss spectroscopy （EELS） analysis of Li4Ti5O12 microspheres at different charge-discharge stages indicates that only a fraction of the TP＊ ions are reduced to Ti3＋ and a phase transformation occurs whereby the spinel phase Li4TisO12 is converted into the rock-salt phase Li7Ti5O12. Even after 100 cycles, the oxidation-reduction reaction between Ti3＋ and Ti4＋ can be carried out much more effectively on the surface of Li4Ti5O12 nanosheets than on commercially available Li4Ti5O12 particles. All the results suggest that these Li4Ti5O12 microspheres may be attractive candidate anode materials for lithium ion batteries.

The level structure in neutron-deficient nucleus 91Ru was investigated via the 58Ni(36Ar,2 plnγ)Ru reaction at a beam energy of 111 *** particles,neutrons,and y-rays were emitted in this reaction and detected by the DIAMANT CsI ball,Neutron Wall,and the EXOGAM Ge clover array,*** addition to the previously reported levels in 91Ru,new low-to-medium spin states were *** correlation and linear polarization measurements were performed to unambiguously determine spins and parities of the excited states in 91 *** low-spin states of 91 Ru exhibit a scheme of multi-quasiparticle excitations,which is very similar to that of the neighboring N=47 *** excitations have been interpreted in terms of the shell *** calculations performed in the configuration space(p3/2,f5/2,p1/2,g9/2)reproduce the experimental excitation energies reasonably well,supporting the interpretation of the newly assigned positive-parity states in terms of the three quasiparticle configurationsπ(g9/2)^-2v(g9/2^-1 and v(g9/2)^-3.

We propose and test a new method of estimating the model parameters of the phenomenological BetheWeizsacker mass *** on the Monte Carlo sampling of a large dataset,we obtain,for the first time,a Cauchy-type parameter distribution formed by the exact solutions of linear equation *** the maximum likelihood estimation,the location and scale parameters are *** estimated results are compared with those obtained by solving overdetermined systems,e.g.,the solutions of the traditional least-squares *** correlations and uncertainty propagation are briefly *** expected,it is also found that improvements in theoretical modeling(e.g.,considering microscopic corrections)decrease the parameter and propagation uncertainties.

For wastewater treatment in rural areas, a novel three-stage step-feed wastewater treatment system, combined with a drop-aeration biofilm process, was tested in the laboratory to investigate its performance in removing suspended solids （SS）, chemical oxygen demand （COD）, NH4＋-N, total nitrogen （TN）, and total phosphorus （TP）. The removal rates of SS, COD and NH4＋-N were 90%, 80%, and 90% in efluent concentrations less than 10 mg/L, 50 mg/L and 8 mg/L, respectively. The TP removal rate was less satisfactory. The C/N ratio in the raw wastewater was often less than 3.5, and the removal efficiency of TN was therefore limited. A carbon-release batch experiment was carried out to measure the feasibility of enhancing denitrification at low influent C/N ratios. The result showed that the C/N could be over 9.0 in the supernatant. Polymerase chain reaction denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis technology was used to reveal the changes in the bacterial community during different stages of the integrated step-feed biofilm process. The results showed that banding patterns and the distribution of dominant bands for the same experimental period in different aerobic zones were similar. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that lanes 10, 11 and 12, which presented three aerobic zones at the same operation period, had the closest phylogenetic relationship among the lanes.
