In this paper, we propose a hardware design for an effective real time indoor localization system for staff working in high-risk manufacturing areas. Because of the special requirements of our system, the chirp spread spectrum （CSS） is the most suitable indoor localization technology. The details of the new localization system are described. The system involves several anchors, tags, and a gateway, all of which use the nanoLOC TRX transceiver （NASTR1） RF chip （Nanotron Co., Germany）, which is based on the CSS technology. To validate the effectiveness of our system, both ranging and localization tests were carried out. The difference between the ranging accuracy indoors and outdoors was small. The localization system can position indoor mobile staffprecisely, enabling the establishment of an emergency rescue mechanism.

The phytohormone auxin plays a central role in coordinating plant growth and ***3 is one of the three gene families that respond rapidly during auxin ***,we report the identification and characterization of the GH3 gene family in maize.A total of 12 GH3 genes were identified,which are not evenly distributed over the 10 maize *** GH3 protein sequences share a conserved domain which occupies nearly the entire *** c/＇s-elements were found in promoters of maize GH3 *** this study,the 12 maize GH3 proteins were primarily classified into two phylogenetic groups,similar to the 13 rice GH3 proteins,while 9 of the 19 Arabidopsis GH3 proteins were observed in the third phylogenetic *** analysis showed that expression of maize GH3 genes is temporally and spatially ***,maize GH3 genes displayed variable changes at transcript level upon pathogen *** presented here provide insight into the diversification and evolution of GH3 proteins,and lay a foundation for the functional characterization of these GH3 genes in future,especially for elucidating the mechanisms of GH3-mediated pathogenesis.

A New Type of Automotive Braking Actuator for Decentralized Electro-hydraulic Braking System

This paper presents a new type of automotive braking actuator for a kind of brake-by-wire system called decentralized electro-hydraulic braking system( DEHB) to replace the traditional automobile braking system. The actuator of this system is driven by an electrical motor instead of the conventional vacuum booster to make the brake pressure be linearity controlled quickly. Therefore,the system has the advantages of quick response speed,good control performance and simple structure. Firstly,an overview of the actuator and the whole DEHB system is shown. Secondly,the possibility of this new kind of actuator working for the system is ensured based on some braking theories. Thirdly,the appropriate dynamic simulations are done to get some results to show the relations of different parameters and the effect of braking. Eventually,the proper parameters are determined to build a test bench which shows that DEHB system can achieve the maximum pressure of 13 MPa within 100 ms after parametric optimization,and meanwhile,the actuator is able to reduce pressure quickly after maintaining high pressure. All of the bench test results can meet with the design requirements and real demand of vehicle and this actuator may improve vehicle braking effect in the future. Besides,this actuator can be widely applied to the regenerative braking system because of its linear braking performance.

Pt nanoparticles(PtNPs)as active species have always been considered as one of the best semiconductor materials for photocatalytic hydrogen *** this study,a Schottky heterojunction has been successfully constructed by evenly loading ultrafine PtNPs onto a triazine-based covalent organic frameworks(COFs).This strategy maintained the high activity of these ultra-small PtNPs while maximizing the utilization of the Pt active *** fabricated PtNPs@covalent triazine-based framework-1(CTF-1)composite accomplished a significantly high rate of hydrogen evolution(20.0 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)=7.6%,atλ=450 nm)with 0.40 wt.%Pt loading,giving rise to a 44-fold-increase in the efficiency of the photocatalytic hydrogen production compared to the pristine *** calculations revealed that the strong electron transfer(Q(Pt)=−0.726 qe,in the analysis of Bader charge,Q(Pt)is the charge quantity transferred from Pt cluster to CTF-1,and qe is the unit of charge transfer quantity)between PtNPs and CTF-1 triggers a strong interaction,which makes PtNPs being firmly attached to the structure of CTF-1,thereby enabling high stability and excellent hydrogen production ***,the hydrogen binding free energy(ΔGH*)of PtNPs@CTF-1 is much lower than that of the unmodified CTF-1,leading to a much lower intermediate state and hence a significant improvement in photocatalytic *** overall findings of this work provide a new platform to incorporate metallic NPs into COFs for the design and fabrication of highly efficient photocatalysts.

The energy transition and dissipation of atomic-scale friction are investigated using the one-dimensional Prandtl-Tomlinson model.A systematic study of the factors influencing the energy dissipation is conducted,indicating that the energy that accumulated during the stick stage does not always dissipate completely during stick-slip *** adopt the energy-dissipation ratio(EDR)to describe the relationship between the energy dissipated permanently in the system and the conservative reversible energy that can be reintroduced to the driving system after the slip *** EDR can change continuously from 100%to 0,covering the stick-slip,intermediate,and smooth-sliding regimes,depending on various factors such as the stiffness,potential-energy corrugation,damping coefficient,sliding velocity,and the temperature of the *** these,the parameterη,which depends on both the surface potential and the lateral stiffness,is proven in this paper to have the most significant impact on the *** toη-T phase diagrams of the EDR,the smooth-sliding superlubricity and thermolubricity are found to be unified with regard to the energy dissipation and *** analytical formulation for the EDR that can be used to quantitatively predict the amount of energy dissipation is derived from a lateral-force curve.

An amidoxime-based polymeric adsorbent was prepared by pre-irradiation grafting of acrylonitrile and acrylic acid onto high-density polyethylene fibers using electron beams,followed by *** recovery of uranium was investigated by flow-through experiment using simulated seawater and marine test in natural *** maximum amount of uranium uptake was 2.51 mg/g-ads after 42 days of contact with simulated seawater and 0.13 mg/g-ads for 15 days of contact with natural seawater.A lower uranium uptake in marine test can be attributed to the short adsorption time and the contamination of marine microorganisms and ***,the high selectivity toward uranium against vanadium may be beneficial to harvest uranyl ion onto adsorbents and the economic feasibility for recovery of uranium from seawater.

Peanut pod shape is a heritable trait which affects the market acceptance of in-shell peanut *** order to determine the genetic control of pod shape,six component traits of pod shape(pod length,pod width,pod length/width ratio,pod roundness,beak degree and constriction degree)were measured using an image-based phenotyping method.A recombinant inbred line(RIL)population consisting of 181 lines was phenotyped across three *** distributions and transgressive segregations were demonstrated in all measured traits and *** correlations were found among most component traits with broad-sense heritability ranging from 0.87 to *** trait locus(QTL)analysis yielded 26 additive QTLs explaining 3.79 to 52.37%phenotypic variations.A novel,stable and major QTL region conditioning multiple shape features was detected on chromosome 2,which spans a 10.81-Mb genomic region with 543 putative *** analysis revealed several candidate genes in this *** addition,73 pairs of epistatic interactions involving 92 loci were identified for six component traits explaining 0.94–6.45%phenotypic *** results provide new genetic loci to facilitate genomics-assisted breeding of peanut pod shape.
