In this paper, a new corporate bond pricing model with credit migration risk is proposed. This model sets different thresholds for the rising or falling of credit ratings, which forms a buffer zone that could reduce the frequency of credit rating changes. Mathematically, this model is a system of partial differential equations with overlapping area. The existence, uniqueness, regularity and asymptotic behavior of the solution are obtained. Furthermore, a numerical scheme and its stability, convergence and accuracy are discussed in detail. Calibration and analysis of the parameters are also suggested.

Bio-manufacturing,a frontier interdisciplinary subject,is a promising field full of creative thinking and innovation[1].In order to create a platform for young scientists and students in the bio-manufacturing field to have a good chance of communication and discussion,based on the success of First Bio-Design&Manufacturing Youth Forum in 2021[2],the Second Bio-Design&Manufacturing Youth Forum chaired by the editor-in-chief Academician Huayong yang and jointly sponsored by the journal of Bio-Design and Manufacturing,School of Mechanical Engineering,Zhejiang University and the State Key Laboratory of Fluid Power and Mechatronic Systems was successfully held in Hangzhou on November 19,2022.Ten prestigious young scientists were invited to deliver a speech on their own research both onsite and online。

Sodium ion batteries(SIBs)have been widely studied because of their low cost,low standard redox potential,and abundant sodium availability.However,the structural rupture during the Na+insertion/extraction processes and the poor conductivity of the anode material limit its cycling stability and rate capability.Herein,SnSe@C was prepared by high-temperature annealing with dopamine hydrochloride as the carbon source,while SnSe was prepared by a protein reduction method.The carbon layer not only works as a protective layer to limit the volume expansion of SnSe and reduce the dissolution of Na 2 Se and poly-selenides generated during the discharge process in the electrolyte,but also as a conductive matrix to expedite electron transfer,thereby boosting the cycling stability and rate capability of SnSe@C.Benefiting from the above advantages,SnSe@C exhibits a specific capacity of 211.3 mAh g^(−1) at 0.1 A g^(−1) after 110 cycles and outstanging rate capability(210.1 mAh g^(−1) at 5.0 A g^(−1) and capacity retention rate of 63.2%from 0.1 to 1.0 A g^(−1)).This study not only proposes an idea for promoting the cycling stability and rate capability of SnSe,but also paves the way for providing anodic materials with a stable structure for SIBs.

This work investigated the effect of pre-strain and microstructures and their interactions on hydrogen trapping behaviors in case of 1-GPa high-strength martensitic steel Fe-0.05C-0.30Si-1.10Mn-3.50Ni-0.53Cr-0.50Mo-0.03 V(wt%).We found that the trapped reversible and trapped irreversible hydrogen contents increased significantly after applying a pre-strain of 5%,with an increase in the trapped reversible hydrogen content from 0.6 ppm in the original sample to 2.1 ppm.The hydrogen desorption activation energy also showed a slight increase.The microstructural evolution revealed that the concomitant dislocation cell-twin duplex microstructure with high-density tangled dislocations after pre-strain substantially increased the trapped reversible hydrogen contents.Additionally,the tangled dislocations pinned by the nanoprecipitates acted as deep irreversible hydrogen traps,increasing the trapped hydrogen at high temperatures after applying 5%pre-strain.These findings provide an expanded understanding of the hydrogen trapping behaviors of pre-strained microstructures.

Design of the Pneumatic Pressure Smart Shoes for an Ankle-Assisted Exoskeleton

Ankle injury is one of the most common joint diseases that people experience during exercise.Most people have suffered ankle injuries at least once in their lives.The studies have shown that the ankle joint provides the most power and torques during the act of walking,compared to the knee and hip joints.This paper presents an ankle joint exoskeleton device,which is mainly used to provide assistance and protection to the human ankle joint with a pneumatic assist drive during walking.The pneumatic pressure smart shoes for this ankle exoskeleton were designed for detecting the human gaits to control the exoskeleton with certain supporting forces to the ankle joints at the appropriate timing.Each smart shoe has two sensors placed in between the wearable layer and the sole.The changes of the foot pressures were measured by the sensors for a microcontroller to control the exoskeleton.Two sets of experimental tests which were 2-month trials and gait selection were used to test the shoes.The experiments of 2-month trials were made to evaluate the stability of the shoes.The results showed that the shoes had no damages,no air leakage,and no malfunctions after the trials.The trials of gait selection were made to test the recognition rate which reached at 99.9%for the shoe system.The results showed that the design of the pneumatic smart shoes for the ankle-assisted exoskeleton met the requirements.

Design Strategy of Infrared 4-Hydroxybenzylidene-imidazolinone-Type Chromophores based on Intramolecular Charge Transfer:a Theoretical Perspective

Partial genetically encoded 4-hy-droxybenzylidene-imidazolinone(HBI)-type chromophores are new promising fluorescent probes,which are suitable for imaging and detection of living cells.How-ever,the lack of infrared chro-mophores hinders the develop-ment seriously.Here more than 30 HBI-type chromophores with reg-ular structure modifications were employed and typical spectral redshift change laws and mechanisms were investigated by quantum methods.Results show that both one-photon spectrum(OPS,absorption/emission)and two-photon absorption(TPA)can achieve large redshift via either extending conjugated lengths of frag-3 or enlarging conjugated areas of frag-1 of HBI skeleton.Spectral redshifts of all chromophores are highly related to intramolecular charge transfer(ICT),but neutral ones are closely related to the total ICT or electron-accept-ing-numbers of frag-3,and the high correlative factor of anions is the aromaticity of frag-2 bridge.The frag-2 bridge with high aromaticity can open a reverse charge transfer channel in anion relative to neutral,obtaining significant redshift.Based on analysis,a new 6-hydroxyl-naphthalene-imidazolinone(HNI)series,which have larger conjugated area in frag-1,are pre-dicted.The OPS and TPA of anionic HNI ones acquire about 76−96 nm and 119−146 nm red-shift relative to traditional HBI series respectively as a whole.The longest emission of anionic HNI-4 realizes more 244 nm redshift relative to HBI-1.Our work clarifies worthy spectral reg-ularities and redshift mechanisms of HBI-type chromophores and provides valuable design strategy for infrared chromophores synthesis in experiment.

2D MBenes have been theoretically predicted to possess unique electronic structures and physicochemical properties,and thus shown great promise in various applications.However,the synthesis of individual single-layer MBene remains a grand challenge due to its orthorhombic structure of MAB phases.Recently,scientists from Link?ping University have fabricated 2D monolayer Mo4/3B2-xTzwith ordered metal vacancies.Their results demonstrated the feasibility of top-down approach by chemical exfoliation of laminated compounds and provided the principle for further preparation of a wealth of MBenes.

Indoor distribution and personal exposure of cooking-generated PM2.5 in rural residences of China:A multizone model study

The fine particulate matter(PM2.5)emitted during cooking is a significant contributor to household air pollution in rural China,resulting in millions of premature deaths annually.Since cooking is an internal pollution source,the indoor concentration of cooking-generated PM2.5 can vary among different rooms in multizone rural residences.This study provides a comprehensive understanding of indoor PM2.5 from cooking in rural residences by utilizing on-site investigations to gather information on cooking behavior and dwelling layout in three Chinese villages,and subsequently simulating indoor spatiotemporal concentrations of cooking-generated PM2.5 using a multizone model.Our findings indicate that the type of zone significantly influences the zonal concentration of PM2.5,with the highest concentrations found in kitchens(i.e.,13.9 to 188.0μg/m3)and lowest in non-adjacent zones to the kitchen(i.e.,0.01 to 7.5μg/m3)among all the modeled conditions.More importantly,the study also assesses the resulting personal exposures for occupants with different time-spent patterns,revealing that the main cook at home and preferring to stay in the adjacent rooms to the kitchen are at the highest risk for personal exposure.The highest personal exposure levels of cooking-generated PM2.5 are 28.5±30.1μg/m3,which is 34 times that of occupants who stay away from the kitchen.The study provides a deeper scientific insight into the indoor spatial distribution and personal exposure to cooking-generated PM2.5 in rural residences,which is crucial for developing effective interventions to mitigate the detrimental health impacts of household air pollution in rural areas.
