New Findings of Latest Early Olenekian(Early Triassic)Fossils in South Primorye,Russian Far East,and Their Stratigraphical Significance

Information on latest early Olenekian(latest Smithian)ammonoids is available apparently from only seven regions of the world,including South *** Smithian evidences on this topic are recorded from the West SMID(abbreviation from the Russian name of the quarry:"Building Materials and Details"),East SMID and golyj Cape areas in South *** provides additional information on systematic composition of latest Smithian ammonoid,as well as conodont and brachiopod assemblages from the recently identified Shimanskyites shimanskyi Zone,located between lower Olenekian Anasibirites nevolini Zone and upper Olenekian Tirolites subcassianus *** are many common ammonoid species in the Shimanskyites shimanskyi Zone and the underlying Anasibirites nevolini Zone,e.g.,Prosphingitoides sp.,Arctoceras septentrionale(Diener),Churkites syskoi Zakharov et Shigeta,Submeekoceras?subhhydaspis(Kiparisova),Prionites markevichi Zakharov et Smyshlyaeva,?Anasibirites?simanenkoi Zakharov et Smyshlyaeva,Xenoceltites?subvariocostatus Zakharov et Smyshlyaeva,and Mianwaliites zimini Zakharov et *** base of the Shimanskyites shimanskyi Zone,marked by a negativeδ13Corg excursion in the Kamenushka-2 Section by our previous study,coincides with the FO(first occurrence)of ammonoids Shimanskyites shimanskyi Zakharov et Smyshlyaeva and glyptophiceras ***(Waagen)and conodont Hindeodella budurovi *** zone is characterized additionally by some fossils common for the overlying upper Olenekian Tirolites subcassianus Zone:ammonoids of the genus Kamenushkaites,brachiopods Bittnerihyris margaritovi(Bittner)and Lepismatina *** conodont?Neogondolella?(=?Borinella)jubata *** latest Smithian ammonoids recorded from the Shimanskyites shimanskyi Zone totally consist of 30 taxa belonging to 11 families(Sageceratidae,Ussuiriidae,Aspenitidae,Paranannitidae,Arctoceratidae,Proptychitidae,?galfetitidae,Prionitidae,?Kashmiritidae,Xenoceltitidae and Palaeophyllitidae).Th

Luminosity monitoring at e^(+)e^(−)colliders was investigated using SANC Monte Carlo event generator ReneSANCe and integrator MCSANC for simulation of Bhabha scattering at low *** are presented for center-of-mass energies of the Z boson resonance and at 240 geV for the conditions of typical luminosity *** is shown that bremsstrahlung events with extremely low electron scattering angles are relevant to match the precision tags of future electron-positron colliders.

Nitrogen and Carbon Isotope Data of Olenekian to Anisian Deposits from Kamenushka/South Primorye, Far-Eastern Russia and Their Palaeoenvironmental Significance

The Kamenushka Formation, exposed in the northern part of South Primorye （Kamennshka-1 and Kamenushka-2 sections）, is one of the few localities in the world with richly fossiliferous Lower-Upper Olenekian sedimentary successions. Lower to Middle Triassic ammonoid-, brachiopod- and conodont-bearing silty-clayey deposits of the Kamenushka-1 and Kamenushka-2 sections have been isotope-geochemically investigated in detail. As a result, these sections, together with the previously investigated Abrek Section, exposed in the southern part of South Primorye, provide almost complete ^15Non- and ^13Corg- records for the Lower Triassic of this region. Nine N- isotope intervals and the five negative C-isotope excursions, reflecting, apparently, unstable climatic and hydrological conditions, have been distinguished in the Lower Triassic of South Primorye. On the basis of the new C-isotope data the Mesohedenstroemia bosphorensis Zone （upper part）, Shimanskyites shimanskyi and Neocolumbites insignis zones of South Primorye are correlated now with the Lower Smithian part of the Yinkeng Formation, the Upper Smithian part of the Helongshan Formation and the Middle Spathian part of the Nanlinghu Formation in South China, respectively, as has been observed in the Abrek, Kamenushka-2, West Pingdingshan and Majiashan sections.

Newly identified Au-Ag-Bi-Te mineralization in the Aydindere skarn Fe and Cu deposit， giresun， NE Turkey: implications of gold mineralization during retrograde skarn evolution

This study investigates the mineralogy and mineral-chemistry of a newly discovered Au-Ag-Bi-Te mineralization at the Aydindere Fe-Cu skarn deposit， within the Pontides Tectonic Unit， northeastern Turkey. The mineralization is developed in the skarn zone at the contact between Upper Cretaceous andesite-pyroclastic rocks and a Paleocene-Eocene I-type granitoid. The principal ore minerals of the Aydindere Fe-Cu deposit are oxides (magnetite)， sulfides (pyrite-chalcopyrite-galena-sphalerite)， tellurides/sulfotellurides (tetradymite， hessite)， sulfosalts (wittichenite， emplectite， aikinite) and native gold-electrum. Skarn minerals include anhydrous phases (garnet) formed in a prograde stage and hydrous phases (amphibole， epidote， chlorite)， which were formed in a retrograde stage in association with quartz， adularia， apatite and late calcite. Sulfides， tellurides and sulfosalts are introduced during the retrograde stage. The Au-Ag-Bi-Te mineralization was detected for the first time within the western ore body of the Aydindere deposit， and occurs in calcite-bearing sulfide bodies that cut magnetite-garnet-amphibole-epidote skarns with magnetite ores of different grade， including massive magnetite. Chlorite geothermometry indicates formation of the Au-Ag-Bi-Te mineralization at temperatures between 300 and 250 °C， during the retrograde skarn evolution. Assuming the temperature is ～275°C， logfS2= -10.5 to -13， logfO2= -37 to -33， and logfTe2values range from approximately -12 to -8.5 were estimated. The available mineralogical and geological data (presences of magnetite， oxidized-type tellurides/sulfotellurides， and andraditic garnets， and absence of pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite) suggest that Aydindere is an oxidized Au-bearing skarn deposit. The discovery of Au-Ag-Bi-Te mineralization at Aydindere increases its productivity and requires more detailed exploration in the deposit for precious (Au， Ag) and critical (Bi， Te) metals.

Designing a performance measurement system to support materials management in engineer-to-order:a case study

There are many different production situations that can be employed to meet demand. In the engineer-to- order （ETO） production situation, products are manufac- tured to meet specific customer needs by unique engineering or significant customization. In such an environment, failing to supply the required materials in the right quantities and at the right time increases the risk of breaching due date agreements and thereby losing customer satisfaction. As such, materials management is one of the most important and critical processes within production planning and control in ETO. To bring attention and improvement to this area, ETO companies may benefit from a performance measurement system （PMS） that systematically monitors how well mate- rials management is carried out. The design of a company＇s PMS varies with its production situation. Within the large body of literature on performance management and mea- surement, limited literature specifically addressing perfor- mance measurement in ETO has been identified. After being approached by a Norwegian ETO company requesting a PMS for materials management, the authors therefore set out to design the PMS from scratch, using literature on ETO, materials management and performance management and measurement as a starting point. The paper presents the proposed PMS. It provides a basis for further studies on the topic, and could be used by managers in ETO companies to assess and improve their materials management practice.

A New Species of Tsuga(Pinaceae) based on Lignified Wood from the Late Miocene of Central Yunnan, China, and Its Paleoenvironmental Implications

A new species, Tsuga nanfengensis ***.（Pinaceae）, is described on the basis of lignified fossil wood from the late Miocene of the Xianfeng Basin, central Yunnan, southwestern *** observation of the fossil wood specimens show the following characteristics： distinct growth rings, absence of resin canals, uniseriate bordered pits in the radial wall of tracheids, ray tracheids and piceoid and cupressoid cross-field *** features indicate similarities to the wood of extant Tsuga canadensis, ***, and *** to the fossil record, Tsuga was present in Xundian County during the *** Tsuga is drought intolerant, preferring wet conditions with no extant species growing naturally in Xundian *** presence of Tsuga in the Miocene of Xundian County indicates a humid climate consistent with previous palaeoclimatic reconstructions showing a wetter and probably shorter dry season in the Miocene, relative to the present ***, the change in the local climate such as increasing aridity through the Miocene might explain the local extinction of Tsuga from central Yunnan.
