Although lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)exhibit high theoretical energy density,their practical application is hindered by poor conductivity of the sulfur cathode,the shuttle effect,and the irreversible deposition of li_(2)*** address these issues,a novel composite,using electrospinning technology,consisting of Fe_(3)Se_(4)and porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers was designed for the interlayer of *** porous carbon nanofiber structure facilitates the transport of ions and electrons,while the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material adsorbs lithium polysulfides(liPSs)and accelerates its catalytic conversion ***,the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material interacts with soluble liPSs to generate a new polysulfide intermediate,li_(x)FeS_(y)complex,which changes the electrochemical reaction pathway and facilitates the three-dimensional deposition of li_(2)S,enhancing the reversibility of *** designed LSB demonstrates a high specific capacity of1529.6 mA h g^(-1)in the first cycle at 0.2 *** rate performance is also excellent,maintaining an ultra-high specific capacity of 779.7 mA h g^(-1)at a high rate of 8 *** investigation explores the mechanism of the interaction between the interlayer and liPSs,and provides a new strategy to regulate the reaction kinetics and li_(2)S deposition in LSBs.

This paper considers the problem of approximating the infinite-horizon value function of the discrete-time switched LQR *** particular,the authors propose a new value iteration method to generate a sequence of monotonically decreasing functions that converges exponentially to the value *** method facilitates us to use coarse approximations resulting from faster but less accurate algorithms for further value iteration,and thus,the proposed approach is capable of achieving a better approximation for a given computation time compared with the existing *** numerical examples are presented in this paper to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Because of global warming,people have paid more attention to greenhouse gas emitted by *** quantify the impact of temperature on vehicle CO_(2)emissions,this study was conducted using the world light vehicle test cycle on two light-duty E10 gasoline vehicles a ambient temperatures of-10,0,23,and 40℃,and found that CO_(2)emission factors of Vehicle1 in the low-speed phase were 22.07%and 20.22%higher than those of Vehicle 2 at cold star and hot start under-10℃.The reason was vehicle 1 had a larger displacement and more friction pairs than vehicle *** was the highest CO_(2)emission at the low-speed phase due to low average speed,frequent acceleration,and *** CO_(2)temperature factor and the ambient temperature had a strong linear correlation(R2=0.99).According to CO_(2)temperature factors and their relationships,CO_(2)emission factors of other ambien temperatures could be calculated when the CO_(2)emission factor of 23℃was obtained,and the method also could be used to obtain the CO_(2)temperature factors of different *** separate the effect of load setting and temperature variation on CO_(2)emission quantitatively a method was *** results showed that the load setting was dominant for the CO_(2)emission *** with 23℃,the CO_(2)emission for vehicle 1 caused by load setting variation were 62.83 and 47.42 g/km,respectively at-10 and 0℃,while those fo vehicle 2 were 45.01 and 35.63 g/km,respectively.

The push for renewable energy emphasizes the need for energy storage systems(ESSs)to mitigate the unpre-dictability and variability of these sources,yet challenges such as high investment costs,sporadic utilization,and demand mismatch hinder their broader *** response,shared energy storage systems(SESSs)offer a more cohesive and efficient use of ESS,providing more accessible and cost-effective energy storage solutions to overcome these *** enhance the profitability of SESSs,this paper designs a multi-time-scale resource allocation strategy based on long-term contracts and real-time rental business *** initially construct a life cycle cost model for SESS and introduce a method to estimate the degradation costs of multiple battery groups by cycling numbers and depth of discharge within the ***,we design various long-term contracts from both capacity and energy perspectives,establishing associated models and real-time rental ***,multi-time-scale resource allocation based on the decomposition of user demand is *** analysis validates that the business model based on long-term contracts excels over models operating solely in the real-time market in economic viability and user satisfaction,effectively reducing battery degradation,and leveraging the aggregation effect for SESS can generate an additional increase of 10.7%in net revenue.

The axial selection of tunnels constructed in the interlayered soft-hard rock mass affects the stability and safety during *** optimization is primarily based on experience or comparison and selection of alternative values under specific geological *** this work,an intelligent optimization framework has been proposed by combining numerical analysis,machine learning(ML)and optimization *** automatic and intelligent numerical analysis process was proposed and coded to reduce redundant manual *** conventional optimization algorithm was developed from two aspects and applied to the hyperparameters estimation of the support vector machine(SVM)model and the axial orientation optimization of the ***,the comprehensive framework was applied to a numerical case study,and the results were compared with those of other *** results of this study indicate that the determination coefficients between the predicted and the numerical stability evaluation indices(STis)on the training and testing datasets are 0.998 and 0.997,*** a given geological condition,the STi that changes with the axial orientation shows the trend of first decreasing and then increasing,and the optimal tunnel axial orientation is estimated to be 87.This method provides an alternative and quick approach to the overall design of the tunnels.

in this paper,a novel ternary eutectic salt Na_(2)CO_(3)-li_(2)CO_(3)-liF was designed and investigated for concentrated solar power(CSP).The FactSage software was used to predict the composition and eutectic point of Na_(2)CO_(3)-li_(2)CO_(3)-*** microstructure,thermophysical properties,and thermal stability of eutectic salts were experimentally measured using various analytical *** a mass ratio of 57%:32%:11%,the eutectic salt exhibited excellent thermal storage properties with a fusion enthalpy of 413 J/g and a melting point of 426.8℃.The excellent thermal stability of the eutectic salt was reflected by a weight loss of only 0.8% at 600℃.

in this paper,the recursive filtering problem is considered for stochastic systems over filter-and-forward successive relay(FFSR)*** FFSR is located between the sensor and the remote filter to forward the *** the successive relay,two cooperative relay nodes are adopted to forward the signals alternatively,thereby existing switching characteristics and inter-relay interferences(iRi).Since the filter-and-forward scheme is employed,the signal received by the relay is retransmitted after it passes through a linear *** objective of the paper is to concurrently design optimal recursive filters for FFSR and stochastic systems against switching characteristics and iRi of ***,a uniform measurement model is proposed by analyzing the transmission mechanism of ***,novel filter structures with switching parameters are constructed for both FFSR and stochastic *** the help of the inductive method,filtering error covariances are presented in the form of coupled difference ***,the desired filter gain matrices are further obtained by minimizing the trace of filtering error ***,the stability performance of the filtering algorithm is analyzed where the uniform bound is guaranteed on the filtering error ***,the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method over FFSR is verified by a three-order resistance-inductance-capacitance circuit system.

Underground engineering often passes through water-rich fractured rock masses, which are prone to fracture and instability under the long-term coupling of in-situ stress field and pore water(P-W) pressure, ultimately threatening the stability of underground structures. in order to explore the mechanical properties of rocks under H-M coupling, the corresponding damage constitutive(D-C) model has become the focus of attention. Considering the inadequacy of the current research on rock strength parameters,energy evolution characteristics and D-C model under H-M coupling, the mechanical properties of typical sandstone samples are discussed based on laboratory tests. The results show that the variation of characteristic stresses of sandstone under H-M coupling conforms to the normalized attenuation equation and Mohr-Coulomb(M-C) criterion. The P-W pressure mechanism of sandstone exhibits a dynamic change from softening effect to H-M fracturing effect. The closure stress is mainly provided by cohesive strength, while the initiation stress, damage stress, and peak stress are jointly dominated by cohesive strength and friction strength. in addition, residual stress is attributed to the friction strength formed by the bite of the fracture surface. Subsequently, the energy evolution characteristics of sandstone under H-M coupling were studied, and it was found that P-W pressure weakened the energy storage capacity and energy dissipation capacity of sandstone, and H-M fracturing was an important factor in reducing its energy storage efficiency. Finally, combined with energy dissipation theory and statistical damage theory, two types of D-C models considering P-W pressure are proposed accordingly, and the model parameters can be determined by four methods. The application results indicate that the proposed and modified D-C models have high reliability, and can characterize the mechanical behavior of sandstone under H-M coupling, overcome the inconvenience of existing D-C models

Solar vapor generation(SVC)represents a promising technique for seawater desalination to alleviate the global water crisis and energy *** of its main bottleneck problems is that the evaporation efficiency and stability are limited by salt crystallization under high-salinity ***,we demonstrate that the 3D porous melamine-foam(MF)wrapped by a type of self-assembling composite materials based on reduced polyoxometalates(*** blue,HPB),oleic acid(OA),and polypyrrole(PPy)(labeled with MF@HPB-PPy_(n)-OA)can serve as efficient and stable SVC material at high *** characterizations of MF@HPB-PPy_(n)-OA indicate that both hydrophilic region of HPBs and hydrophobic region of OA co-exist on the surface of composite materials,optimizing the hydrophilic and hydrophobic interfaces of the SVC materials,and fully exerting its functionality for ultrahigh water-evaporation and anti-salt *** optimal MF@HPB-PPy_(10)-OA operates continuously and stably for over 100 h in 10wt%***,MF@HPB-PPy_(10)-OA accomplishes complete salt-water separation of 10wt%brine with 3.3kgm^(-2)h^(-1)under 1-sun irradiation,yielding salt harvesting efficiency of 96.5%,which belongs to the record high of high-salinity systems reported so far and is close to achieving zero liquid ***,the low cost of MF@HPB-PPy_(10)-OA(2.56$m^(-2))suggests its potential application in the practical SVC technique.
