Microstructural Characteristics of Epitaxial BaSrNb_(0.3)Ti_(0.7)O_3 Film

Microstructural characteristics in the BaSrNb0.3Ti0.7O3 thin film, grown on SrTiO3 substrate by computercontrolled laser molecular beam epitaxy, were characterized by means of transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. It is found that the film is single-crystallized and epitaxially grown on the SrTiO3 substrate forming a flat and distinct interface. Anti-phase domains were identified, and the crystallographic features of mismatch dislocations at the interface between film and substrate were clarified. The high conductivity of the present film was discussed from the viewpoint of Nb dopant and the nitrogen atmosphere.

In vitro thyroid disrupting effects of organic extracts from WWTPs in Beijing

It is generally known that there are many endocrine disrupting compounds （EDCs） in the effluents from wastewater treatment plants （WWTPs）. Most research has focused on the occurrence of estrogenic or androgenic activities, while ignoring that there are environmental chemicals disrupting thyroid system, which is essential for growth and development in both humans and animals. In the present work, a two-hybrid yeast assay was conducted to evaluate the removal efficiencies of agonistic or antagonistic thyroid receptor （TR） mediated effects in different treatment processes of three WWTPs located in Beijing. We found no TR agonistic, but TR antagonistic activities in all processes from the WWTPs. The TR antagonistic activities in organic extracts of water samples were then calibrated regarding to a known TR-inhibitor, amiodarone hydrochloride （AH）. The observed concentration of TR disrupting substances ranged from 2.35 × 10 8 to 6.19 × 10 7 mol/L AH in Gaobeidian WWTP, 3.76 × 10 8 to 8.75 × 10 8 mol/L AH in Lugouqiao WWTP, and 4.80 × 10 9 to 2.55 × 10 8 mol/L AH in Beixiaohe WWTP. Of the three WWTPs, the removal rates were 92.7%, 42.2%, and 23.1% respectively. Industrial sewage may contain more TR disrupting substances compared with domestic sewage. The recipient waters were found to contain considerable concentrations of TR disrupting substances that may cause adverse effects on the exposed organisms.

In this paper, we introduce certain subclasses of harmonic univalent functions associated with the Janowski functions, which are defined by using generalized(p, q)-post quantum calculus operators. Sufficient coefficient conditions, extreme points, distortion bounds and partial sums properties for the functions belonging to the subclasses are obtained.

Some Properties of Subclasses of Meromorphic Multivalent Functions Defined by Subordination

In the present paper, we introduce some new subclasses of meromorphic starlike,convex, close-to-convex and quasi-convex functions of β-reciprocal in terms of the linear operator using subordination. We obtain the coefficient estimates, convolution properties, integral preserving properties and inclusion relationships of the classes. The results presented here include several results as their special cases.

Effects of Yimu Shenghuasan Preparation on the Cytochrome P450 in Endometrial Cells and Immune Function of Dairy Cows

In order to investigate the mode of action ofYimu Shenghuasan preparation in endometrial cells of dairy cows, the primary cultured endometrial cells in cows were isolated and the inflammatory models were made by lipopolysaccharide （LPS） induction. The inflammatory cells were treated with gradient concentration of herbal medicine preparation, Yimu Shenghuasan for 48 and 72 h. The expression of cytochrome P450 （CYP450） was detected by Western blot. The amounts of IgG and lgA in sera were also detected in the endometritis of dairy cows. The expression level of CYP450 in the endometrial cells of dairy cow was increased gradually, and the amounts of IgG, IgA were increased significantly as compared with those in the control group. The expression level of CYP450 in the inflammatory cells was increased significantly in the treatment of 2 000 μg mL^-1 of Yimu Shenghuasan after 48 h of treatment.

UiO-66-NH2 nanoparticles supported on layered double hydroxides as an excellent adsorbent for levofloxacin capture

The adsorption performances of individual adsorbent such as UiO-66-NH2 and MgAl-layered double hydroxides(MgAl-LDH)toward levofloxacin(LVX)is less satisfactory due to the disappointing uptake capacity and adsorption ***,a 3D flower-like composite adsorbent prepared via iterative hydrothermal synthesis method anchoring UiO-66-NH2 nanoparticles onto the MgAl-LDH *** to the synergistic effects of UiO-66-NH2,and MgAl-LDH,the MgAl-LDH@UiO-66-NH2 exhibits an outstanding adsorption performance toward ***,the maximum LVX uptake capacity over MgAl-LDH@UiO-66-NH2 reached 268 mg/g,which was higher than that of the individual adsorption materials UiO-66-NH2(41 mg/g),MgAl-LDH(140 mg/g),and some adsorbents reported in previous *** rapid adsorption process can reach equilibrium within 20 min,which conformed well to the pseudo-second-order kinetics and the Langmuir isotherm *** thermodynamic result also indicated that the adsorption was spontaneous and exothermic,simultaneous coexisting physical and chemical adsorption ***,the MgAl-LDH@UiO-66-NH2 still maintained excel-lent adsorption capacity with a slightly decrease after fifth cycle,exhibiting a remarkable reuse and stable *** work provides a highly novel strategy to prepare recyclable composite adsorbent for the LVX capture from aqueous solution.

Coefficient Estimates for the Subclasses of Analytic Functions and Bi-Univalent Functions Associated with the Strip Domain

The Salagean operator is used here to introduce a new subclass of analytic functions associated with the strip domain. We obtain the bounds of coefficients and Fekete-szego inequality for functions in this class and coefficient estimates of bi-univalent functions for certain subclasses of this class. The results presented here extend some of the earlier results.

Effects of Welding Speed and Post-weld Hot Rolling on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Friction Stir-Welded AZ31 magnesium Alloy

The as-rolled AZ31 Mg alloy sheets are welded by friction stir welding（FSW） in this study, followed by annealing and hot rolling with different reductions. The effects of welding speed and the rolling reduction on the microstructure, tensile properties, microhardness and fracture surfaces of the specimens are investigated. The results show that the microstructures of the FSW joint in different regions become more and more consistent as the hot rolling reduction increases. The mechanical properties of the FSW joints and the joint coefficient are improved with increasing rolling reduction; however,the hardness value in the stirred zone decreases firstly and then increases. When the rolling reduction is 50%, the tensile strength of FSW joint is close to that of base metal. The sample L_3 achieves the best comprehensive properties, with the yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and elongation of 162, 287.9 MPa, and 17.9%, respectively.
