Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) are fundamentally challenged by the instability of the electrode/electrolyte interface,predominantly due to irreversible zinc (Zn) deposition and hydrogen ***,the intricate mechanisms behind the electrochemical discrepancies induced by interfacial Zn^(2+)-solvation and deposition behavior demand comprehensive *** molecules endowed with special functional groups (such as hydroxyl,carboxyl,etc.) have the potential to significantly optimize the solvation structure of Zn^(2+)and regulate the interfacial electric double layer (EDL).By increasing nucleation overpotential and decreasing interfacial free energy,these functional groups facilitate a lower critical nucleation radius,thereby forming an asymptotic nucleation model to promote uniform Zn ***,this study presents a pioneering approach by introducing trace amounts of n-butanol as solvation regulators to engineer the homogenized Zn (H-Zn) anode with a uniform and dense *** interfacial reaction and structure evolution are explored by in/ex-situ experimental techniques,indicating that the H-Zn anode exhibits dendrite-free growth,no by-products,and weak hydrogen evolution,in sharp contrast to the bare ***,the H-Zn anode achieves a remarkable Zn utilization rate of approximately 20% and simultaneously sustains a prolonged cycle life exceeding 500 ***,the H-Zn//NH_(4)V_(4)O^(10)(NVO) full battery showcases exceptional cycle stability,retaining 95.04%capacity retention after 400 cycles at a large current density of 5 A g^(-1).This study enlightens solvation-regulated additives to develop Zn anode with superior utilization efficiency and extended operational lifespan.

“One stone, two birds”: Salt template enabling porosity engineering and single metal atom coordinating toward high-performance zinc-ion capacitors

Zinc-ion hybrid capacitors (ZIHCs) have received increasing attention as energy storage devices owing to their low cost,high safety,and environmental ***,their progress has been hampered by low energy and power density,as well as unsatisfactory long-cycle stability,mainly due to the lack of suitable electrode *** this context,we have developed manganese single atoms implanted in nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanosheets (MnSAs/NCNs) using a metal salt template method as cathodes for *** metal salt serves a dual purpose in the synthesis process:It facilitates the uniform dispersion of Mn atoms within the carbon matrix and acts as an activating agent to create the porous *** applied in ZIHCs,the MnSAs/NCNs electrode demonstrates exceptional performance,including a high capacity of 203 m Ah g^(-1),an energy density of 138 Wh kg^(-1)at 68 W kg^(-1),and excellent cycle stability with 91%retention over 10,000 *** calculations indicate that the introduced Mn atoms modulate the local charge distribution of carbon materials,thereby improving the electrochemical *** work demonstrates the significant potential of carbon materials with metal atoms in zinc-ion hybrid capacitors,not only in enhancing electrochemical performance but also in providing new insights and methods for developing high-performance energy storage devices.

Subsection cooling system of hot rolling silicon steel and its industrial application

An online subsection cooling method for hot rolling silicon steel was designed to achieve local adjustment of transverse roll ***,it was able to meet the requirements of edge drop of the strip by using the features of online thermal ***,after the new subsection spray beam was installed at the exit of mill,the special local cooling rules were analyzed for altering the thermal crown of roll according to rolling process ***,the dynamic impact of subsection cooling on the local thermal crown could just be obtained according to the measured ***,the heat transfer coefficient was determined by different subsection cooling curves under varied rolling ***,the rolling rhythm and variable conditions were important dynamic factors of transient roll temperature in practical rolling ***,real-time calculation and presetting of the thermal crown were carried out to maximize special requirements of load roll gap on local strip *** this new method,the transient temperature and the thermal crown of roll could be quantitatively controlled *** the practical results showed that the predicted temperature was able to match the measured value by more than 95%.Meanwhile,the adjustable range of thermal crown increased by more than 2.5 ***,the qualification rate of strip edge crown has increased from the original 30%to over 70%.

Comprehensive recovery of rare earth elements and gypsum from phosphogypsum:A wastewater free process combining gravity separation and hydrometallurgy

Comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum（PG） has attracted much attention,especially for the recovery of rare earth elements（REEs） and gypsum due to the issues of stockpile,environmental pollution,and waste of associated *** utilization methods suffered the issues of low REEs leaching efficiency,huge amount of CaSO4saturated wastewater and high recovery *** solve these issues,this study investigated the occurrence of REEs in PG and the leaching of *** results show that REEs in PG are in the forms of（1） REEs mineral inclusions,（2） REEs isomorphous substitution of Ca2+in gypsum lattice,（3） dispersed soluble REEs *** leaching results demonstrate that（1） the dissolution of gypsum matrix is the control factor of REEs leaching;（2） H2SO4is a promising leachant considering the recycle of leachate;（3） the gypsum matrix suffers a recrystallization during the acid leaching and releases the soluble REEs from PG to aqueous *** the recovery of the undissolved REEs mineral inclusions,wet sieving concentrated 37.1 wt% of the REEs in a 10.7 wt% mass,increasing REEs content from 309 to 1071 ***,a green process combining gravity separation and hydrometallurgy is *** process owns the merits of wastewater free,considerable REEs recovery（about 10% increase compared with traditional processes）,excellent gypsum purification（>95 wt%CaSO4·2H2O,with lical leaching）.

Adsorption of the Enantiomers of Tryptophan on Stationary Phase Bonded with Bovine Serum Albumin

Frontal analysis is frequently applied to measuring single or multi-component adsorption isotherms. In this work, the competitive adsorption isotherm data of two enantiomers of tryptophan were obtained by competitive frontal analysis. The stationary phase in the column was silica-immobilized bovine serum albumin (BSA) by the derivative method, and the mobile phase was a phosphate buffer. These isotherm data were fitted by the competitive Bilangmuir model. This model can account for the behavior of both tryptophan enantiomers and these profiles were found to fit the experimental band profiles (square error is 0.999 6). The parameters obtained were used in numerical calculations to predict the band profiles of the racemic mixtures of tryptophan. The equilibrium-dispersive model provides satisfactory prediction, with minor differences between the calculated and the experimental profiles.

Synthesis of intermetallic PtCo fuel cell catalysts from bimetallic core@shell structured nanoparticles

The high activity and stability of intermetallic PtCo nanocatalysts toward oxygen reduction reaction make them a top candidate as low-Pt cathode catalysts in proton exchange membrane fuel cells（PEMFCs）.However,forming intermetallic structures typically requires high-temperature annealing,posing a challenge for achieving well-size control and highly ordered *** we report the design and synthesis of bimetallic co re@shell structured precursors for affording high-performance intermetallic PtCo *** fabrication of the core@shell precursor involves using a molecular ligand containing both sulfur and oxygen donors to selectively bind with Pt colloidal nanoparticles as the core and chelate Co ions as the *** high-temperature annealing,the ligand transforms into carbon coatings around alloy nanoparticles,preventing particle sintering;meanwhile,Co ions in the shell can easily diffuse into the Pt core,which helps to increase the thermodynamic driving force for forming intermetallic *** benefits enable us to obtain the catalyst with finely dispersed nanoparticles（～3.5 nm）and a high ordering degree of 72%.With 0.1 mgPt/cm2cathode loading,the catalyst delivers superior performance and durability in PEMFCs,showing an initial mass activity of 0.56 A/mgPt,an initial power density of 1.05 W/cm2at 0.67 V（H2-air）,and a voltage loss of 26 mV at 0.8 A/cm2after the accelerated durability test.

多层次多孔沥青路面吸声性能模型与分析

针对国内外缺少有效的多孔路面降噪功能设计方法的问题,基于多孔固体介质的理论吸声模型和传递矩阵方法,构建了多层次多孔沥青路面吸声系数模型并开展观测分析。模型以多孔沥青混合料空隙率、集料粒径、厚度等材料和体积指标为输入参量,能够较好地辅助混合料设计。首先,通过CT扫描图像分析,建立预估孔隙结构迂曲度、等效半径以及表层空隙过渡区空隙率的回归方程,基于此形成孔隙结构流阻率预估模型。进一步地,采用传递矩阵的方法开发了多层次多孔路面结构吸声系数模型,分析了过渡区空隙率的影响。最终,利用模型对比了不同设计参数及结构组合形式的吸声性能变化规律。研究结果表明:考虑表层过渡区空隙率变化的预测模型精度更高,这对实际路面降噪设计和预估更为有效;表层空隙率主要影响第1个吸声峰值的频率位置,频谱上2个峰值的变化趋势随空隙率的增减一致;底层空隙率同时影响2个峰值的频率位置,而2个峰值随底层空隙率的大小变化趋势相反;常用集料最大粒径的影响较小;厚度主要决定吸声系数峰值频率的位置;当单层多孔沥青混合料厚度与双层多孔路面总厚度一致时,二者具有相近的吸声性能;对于3层多孔沥青路面结构,其表层、中层和底层的连通空隙率分别对吸声系数曲线的第2和第3峰值、第1峰值以及第1峰值频率产生主要影响。因此,通过模型分析,为每个层次选择适当的空隙率、厚度等设计参数值,可以增强对特定频率轮胎/路面噪声的吸收效果,优化多孔路面的降噪功能。

To address the current issues with the conventional slide gate system utilized in the steel teeming process,a unique electromagnetic induction controlled automated steel teeming(EICAST)technology has been *** means of spiral coil in this technology is directly related to its service ***,heat transfer processes of air cooling and spray cooling were compared and ***,the impacts of water temperature,water flow rate and air flow rate were examined in order to maximize the spray cooling *** maintain coil temperature at a low value consistently throughout the entire thermal cycle process of the ladle,a combined cooling mode was finally *** simulation was applied to examine the coil temperature variation with different cooling systems and *** coil operation,spray cooling is said to be more *** controlling the water flow rate and air flow rate,the spray cooling effect is ***,water temperature has little or no impact when using spray *** cooling during the secondary refining process and spray cooling prior to coil operation are combined to further lower coil *** the direction of the spray cooling is from bottom to top,the coil temperature is lowered below 165℃.A practical induction coil cooling plan was provided for the EICAST technology’s production process.

Mechanism analysis of effect of MgO on reduction swelling behaviour of iron pellets in CO/H_(2)atmosphere based on first-principles calculations

To explain the influence mechanism of MgO on the consolidation and reduction characteristics of roasted iron pellets,the properties and structure of pellets were investigated from *** indicated that the MgO addition decreased the reduction swelling index(RSI)and reduction degree of pellets in both CO and H_(2)*** the stepwise reduction process of Fe2O3→Fe3O4→FeO,the reduction behaviour of pellets in CO and H_(2)was similar,while the reduction rate of pellets in H_(2)atmosphere was almost twice as high as that in CO *** the stepwise reduction process of FeO→Fe,the RSI of pellets showed a logarithmic increase in CO atmosphere and a linear decrease in H_(2)*** investigated by first-principles calculations,C and Fe mainly formed chemical bonds,and the CO reduction process released energy,promoting the formation of iron ***,H and Fe produced weak physical adsorption,and the H_(2)reduction process was endothermic,inhibiting the generation of iron *** Mg2+doping in FexO,the nucleation region of iron whiskers expanded in CO reduction process,and the morphology of iron whiskers transformed from“slender”to“stocky,”reducing RSI of the pellets.

FUBP3 mediates the amyloid-β-induced neuronal NLRP3 expression

Alzheimer's disease is characterized by deposition of amyloid-β,which forms extracellular neuritic plaques,and accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau,which aggregates to form intraneuronal neurofibrillary tangles,in the *** NLRP3 inflammasome may play a role in the transition from amyloid-βdeposition to tau phosphorylation and *** NLRP3 is primarily found in brain microglia,and tau is predominantly located in neurons,it has been suggested that NLRP3 expressed by microglia indirectly triggers tau phosphorylation by upregulating the expression of pro-inflammatory ***,we found that neurons also express NLRP3 in vitro and in vivo,and that neuronal NLRP3 regulates tau *** biochemical methods,we mapped the minimal NLRP3 promoter and identified FUBP3 as a transcription factor regulating NLRP3 expression in *** primary neurons and the neuroblastoma cell line Neuro2A,FUBP3 is required for endogenous NLRP3 expression and tau phosphorylation only when amyloid-βis *** the brains of aged wild-type mice and a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease,FUBP3 expression was markedly increased in cortical *** analysis suggested that FUBP3 plays a role in neuron-mediated immune *** also found that FUBP3 trimmed the 5′end of DNA fragments that it bound,implying that FUBP3 functions in stress-induced *** findings suggest that neuronal NLRP3 may be more directly involved in the amyloid-β-to–phospho-tau transition than microglial NLRP3,and that amyloid-βfundamentally alters the regulatory mechanism of NLRP3 expression in *** that FUBP3 was only expressed at low levels in young wild-type mice and was strongly upregulated in the brains of aged mice and Alzheimer's disease mice,FUBP3 could be a safe therapeutic target for preventing Alzheimer's disease progression.
