Effect of metformin on stem cells:Molecular mechanism and clinical prospect

Ultrafast vibrational dephasing dynamics of 9,10-bis（phenylethynyl）anthracene （BPEA）thin films were revealed by femtosecond coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering spectroscopy （fs-CARS）.Dephasing times （T） of 2.60,2.98,3.72,and 1.64 ps were acquired at 1213,1300,1400,and 1478 cm vibrations,*** steady-state Raman and fast Fourier transform spectra,the dephasing dynamics generated by coherently excited Raman modes 1213 （1478） cm were fitted with 94 （77） cm quantum beat frequencies,with a combination of slow constantsτ=5.92 （2.76） ps and fast constantsτ=1.65 （1.98） *** lifetimes could be ascribed to the time scales associated with the structural changes for the C=C Raman modes in the BPEA thin ***,it is very significant to distinctly understand the underlying ultrafast vibrational dephasing dynamics of the electronic ground state of BPEA caused by vibrational structure changes,which benefits to improve sustainably the molecular device for efficient solar energy conversion.

Bubbly oil lubrication is a type of lubrication ***,the lubrication model of the bubbly oil has not been thoroughly *** paper aims to investigate the modelling for bubbly oil lubrication considering the interfacial effect and thermal effect,and a theoretical model is established based on the theory of multiphase *** interfacial and thermal effects on the static characteristics of a thrust bearing are analyzed.A test rig for the thrust bearing is developed to measure the static characteristics of the bearing under bubbly oil *** results show that the bearing static characteristics,*** temperature rise,film thickness,friction torque,and volume flow,increase with consideration of three interfacial effects;the bearing temperature rise increases but the film thickness,friction torque,and volume flow rate decrease with consideration of the three thermal effects;the thermal effect on the bearing static characteristics is greater than the interfacial effect.

Solvent Effects on Spectral Property and Dipole Moment of the Lowest Excited State of Coumarin 343 Dye

Steady-state absorption and fluorescence spectra, and time-resolved fluorescence spectra of coumarin 343 （C343） were measured in different solvents. The effect of the solvent on the spectral properties and dipole moment of the lowest excited state of C343 were investigated. It was found that the absorption and fluorescence spectra red-shifted slightly and strongly with increasing solvent polarity, respectively, because the charge distribution of the excited state leaded to the increasing difference between the absorption and fluorescence spectra with increasing solvent polarity. The dipole moment of the lowest excited state of C343 was determined from solvatochromic measurements and the quantum chemical calculation, and the results obtained from these two methods were fully consistent. Investigations of the time-resolved fluorescence of C343 in different solvents indicated that the fluorescence lifetimes increased nearly linearly with 4.45 ns in water. This can be ascribed between C343 and hydrogen donating increasing solvent polarity from 3.09 ns in toluene to to the intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions solvents

Based on the environment characteristics of the Beibu Gulf of South China Sea, a quasi-three-dimensional physical model is built. By coupling the bottom boundary layer with the two-dimensional tidal current field near the seabed surface, the quasi-three-dimensional hydrodynamic numerical simulation is carried out. The sand wave migration process is dealt with by coupling the hydrodynamic model with the sediment transport model. The computational results are shown to be in good agreement with the observed data, which indicates that the quasi-three-dimensional physical model can be used to simulate the migration process for small scale sand waves. Then, based on measured data, the evolution of the sand wave migration is investigated. An effective formula is developed to predict the migration rate, in which not only the effects of the environment but also the features of sand waves are considered.

We propose a scheme for the generation of entangled coherent states for the center-of-mass and relative vibrational modes of two trapped ions. In the scheme the ions are simultaneously illuminated by a single standing-wave laser tuned to the carrier. The scheme allows the production of an entangled coherent states with a considerably high speed as long as a laser field of sufficiently high intensity is available.

目的:分析局部臭氧联合散瘀消痛散外敷对高位肛瘘术后创面愈合的影响。方法:将我院2020年5月至2022年3月行高位肛瘘切除术86例患者分为对照组41例和观察组45例,术后对照组患者采用局部臭氧治疗,观察组患者采用局部臭氧联合散瘀消痛散外敷治疗,观察2组患者的疗效,比较2组患者术后创面疼痛、渗出液、肿胀评分以及不同时点凋亡分子表达和创面愈合情况。结果:观察组患者总有效率明显高于对照组(P<0.05);术后第7天和第15天,观察组患者的疼痛评分、渗出液评分、肿胀评分以及Bax、caspase-3和P53的表达均明显低于对照组(P<0.05);观察组患者创面愈合时间明显短于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:局部臭氧联合散瘀消痛散外敷用于肛瘘患者术后创面可明显减轻疼痛、水肿,促进创面愈合,疗效显著。

Process optimization and mechanism study of ionic liquid-based mixed amine biphasic solvents for CO_(2) capture in biogas upgrading procedure

This study focused on enhancing the efficiency of methane upgrading and reducing energy consumption in the biogas upgrading process through the use of biphasic *** aqueous-based biphasic solvent,comprising methyl monoethanolamine(MMEA),N-methyldiethanolamine(MDEA),and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate(ItFB),was meticulously *** biogas upgrading effect,regeneration efficiency,regeneration energy consumption,economic viability,selectivity,and phase separation characteristics of this absorbent were systematically *** parameters,including different inlet flow rates,stirring rate,methane inlet concentrations,reaction temperatures,and amine mixing ratios,were adjusted to investigate their impact.A comprehensive evaluation was conducted on the biogas upgrading effect and substance migration trends of the biphasic *** process parameters were determined,demonstrating the favorable impact of the biphasic solvent on biogas *** upgraded gas achieved a methane purity exceeding 96%,and the regeneration energy consumption decreased by 44.27% compared to 30 wt.%MEA,resulting in a more than 50% improvement in economic *** interaction between the ionic liquid and carbamate facilitated the phase separation process,with carbon enrichment after separation exceeding 95%.This enhancement significantly contributed to the improvement of regeneration energy *** study thus concludes that biphasic solvents,exemplified by the described aqueous-based solution,offer a promising avenue for effective biogas upgrading with notable advancements in economic and energy efficiency.

Interfacial solar evaporation holds immense potential for brine desalination with low carbon footprints and high energy ***,as a tunable material platform from the molecular level to the macroscopic scale,have been considered the most promising candidate for solar ***,the simultaneous achievement of high evaporation efficiency and satisfactory tolerance to salt ions in brine remains a challenging scientific bottleneck,restricting the widespread ***,we report ionization engineering,which endows polymer chains of hydrogels with electronegativity for impeding salt ions and activating water molecules,fundamentally overcoming the hydrogel salt-impeded challenge and dramatically expediting water evaporating in *** sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate-modified carbon black is chosen as the solar *** hydrogel reaches a ground-breaking evaporation rate of 2.9 kg m−2 h−1 in 20 wt%brine with 95.6%efficiency under one sun irradiation,surpassing most of the reported *** notably,such a hydrogel-based evaporator enables extracting clean water from oversaturated salt solutions and maintains durability under different high-strength deformation or a 15-day continuous ***,on the basis of the cation selectivity induced by the electronegativity,we first propose an all-day system that evaporates during the day and generates salinity-gradient electricity using waste-evaporated brine at night,anticipating pioneer a new opportunity for all-day resource-generating systems in fields of freshwater and electricity.
