Pedestrian self-organizing movement plays a significant role in evacuation studies and architectural *** formation,a typical self-organizing phenomenon,helps pedestrian system to become more orderly,the majority of following behavior model and overtaking behavior model are imprecise and unrealistic compared with pedestrian movement in the real *** this study,a pedestrian dynamic model considering detailed modelling of the following behavior and overtaking behavior is constructed,and a method of measuring the lane formation and pedestrian system order based on information entropy is *** and analysis demonstrate that the following and avoidance behaviors are important factors of lane formation.A high tendency of following results in good lane *** non-selective following behavior and aggressive overtaking behavior cause the system order to *** most orderly following strategy for a pedestrian is to overtake the former pedestrian whose speed is lower than approximately 70%of his *** influence of the obstacle layout on pedestrian lane and egress efficiency is also studied with this *** presence of a small obstacle does not obstruct the walking of pedestrians;in contrast,it may help to improve the egress efficiency by guiding the pedestrian flow and mitigating the reduction of pedestrian system orderliness.

Detecting XSS with Random Forest and Multi-Channel Feature Extraction

In the era of the Internet,widely used web applications have become the target of hacker attacks because they contain a large amount of personal *** these vulnerabilities,stealing private data through crosssite scripting(XSS)attacks is one of the most commonly used attacks by ***,deep learning-based XSS attack detection methods have good application prospects;however,they suffer from problems such as being prone to overfitting,a high false alarm rate,and low *** address these issues,we propose a multi-stage feature extraction and fusion model for XSS detection based on Random Forest feature *** model utilizes RandomForests to capture the intrinsic structure and patterns of the data by extracting leaf node indices as features,which are subsequentlymergedwith the original data features to forma feature setwith richer information *** feature extraction is conducted through three parallel *** I utilizes parallel onedimensional convolutional layers(1Dconvolutional layers)with different convolutional kernel sizes to extract local features at different scales and performmulti-scale feature fusion;Channel II employsmaximum one-dimensional pooling layers(max 1D pooling layers)of various sizes to extract key features from the data;and Channel III extracts global information bi-directionally using a Bi-Directional Long-Short TermMemory Network(Bi-LSTM)and incorporates a multi-head attention mechanism to enhance global ***,effective classification and prediction of XSS are performed by fusing the features of the three *** test the effectiveness of the model,we conduct experiments on six *** achieve an accuracy of 100%on the UNSW-NB15 dataset and 99.99%on the CICIDS2017 dataset,which is higher than that of the existing models.

Understanding the undular tidal bores in the Qiantang River is essential for effective river management and *** breaking tidal bores have been studied extensively, reports on undular tidal bores in the Qiantang Riverremain limited. Furthermore, observed data on undular tidal bores fulfilling the requirements of short measurementtime intervals, and spring, medium, and neap tide coverage, and providing detailed data for the global vertical stratificationof flow velocity are quite limited. Based on field observations at Qige in the Qiantang estuary, we analyzedthe characteristics of undular tidal bores. The results showed that the flooding amplitude (a) of the first wave isalways larger than its ebbing amplitude (b). Moreover, the vertical distribution of the maximum flood velocity exhibitesthree shapes, influenced by the tidal range, while that of the maximum ebb velocity exhibites a single shape. Duringthe initial phase of the flood tide in the spring and medium tides, the upper water body experiences multiple oscillatingchanges along the flow direction, corresponding to the alternating process of the crest and trough of the tide levelupon the arrival of the tidal bore. The tidal range is a crucial parameter in tidal bore hydrodynamics. By establishingthe relationship between hydrodynamic parameters and tidal range, other hydrodynamic parameters, such as the tidalbore height, maximum flood depth–averaged velocity, maximum flood stratified velocity at the measurement points,and duration of the flood tide current, can be effectively predicted, thereby providing an important reference for rivermanagement and maintenance.

Purpose:The notable increase in retraction papers has attracted considerable attention from diverse *** sources are now offering information related to research integrity,including concerns voiced on social media,disclosed lists of paper mills,and retraction notices accessible through journal ***,despite the availability of such resources,there remains a lack of a unified platform to consolidate this information,thereby hindering efficient searching and ***,it is imperative to develop a comprehensive platform for retracted papers and related *** article aims to introduce“Amend,”a platform designed to integrate information on research integrity from diverse ***/methodology/approach:The Amend platform consolidates concerns and lists of problematic articles sourced from social media platforms(e.g.,PubPeer,For Better Science),retraction notices from journal websites,and citation databases(e.g.,Web of Science,CrossRef).Moreover,Amend includes investigation and punishment announcements released by administrative agencies(e.g.,NSFC,MOE,MOST,CAS).Each related paper is marked and can be traced back to its information source via a provided ***,the Amend database incorporates various attributes of retracted articles,including citation topics,funding details,open access status,and *** reasons for retraction are identified and classified as either academic misconduct or honest errors,with detailed subcategories provided for further ***:Within the Amend platform,a total of 32,515 retracted papers indexed in SCI,SSCI,and ESCI between 1980 and 2023 were *** these,26,620(81.87%)were associated with academic *** retraction rate stands at 6.64 per 10,000 ***,the retraction rate for non-gold open access articles significantly differs from that for gold open access articles,with this disparity progressively widening over the ***,the reasons
