Influence of the Scandinavian Pattern on Summer Extreme Precipitation over the Eastern Slopes of the Tibetan Plateau

The Scandinavian(SCA)pattern is an important climate signal in regulating the variability of summer extreme precipitation(SEP)over the eastern slopes of the Tibetan Plateau(ESTP).There is a strong negative correlation between the SCA pattern and SEP over the ESTP,with a correlation coefficient *** budget analysis showed that the dynamic component anomalies of both the zonal and vertical moisture advection induced by the SCA pattern play the dominant roles in extreme precipitation variability over the *** anomalies are solely linked to variations in zonal wind and vertical *** anomalies of the SCA pattern propagate downstream through Rossby waves,leading to the formation of cyclonic circulations over northern East Asia and the Iranian *** westerlies on the southern side of these cyclonic circulations play a crucial role in influencing the development of significant anomalous westerlies over the *** anomalous westerlies bring climatologically moist air from the Tibetan Plateau(TP)to the ESTP,resulting in positive zonal moisture advection anomalies over the ***,these anomalous westerlies transport climatologically warm air from the TP to the ESTP,leading to significant warm advection anomalies and vertical upward motion anomalies over the *** upward motion carries lower-tropospheric moisture upward,resulting in positive vertical moisture advection anomalies over the *** combination of these positive zonal and vertical moisture advection anomalies eventually leads to excessive SEP.

In this work,we provide a comprehensive review on the formation,evolution,properties,and effects of supercritical *** Earth's interior,enhanced miscibility between H_(2)O and silicate by the addition of special components or by the increase of pressure and temperature gives rise to supercritical geofluid with a significant amount of both H_(2)O and silicate *** formation of supercritical geofluid in magmatic-hydrothermal systems,typified by pegmatite system,is governed by meltfluid critical *** formation of supercritical geofluid in metamorphic systems,typified by subducted slab,is governed by the second critical end *** results suggest that the presence of boron and fluorine in pegmatite system makes it possible to form supercritical geofluid at crustal depths,but the release of supercritical geofluid from subducted slab is withheld until almost 100 km depth.A major presence of both H_(2)O and depolymerized structural units(monomers,dimers,etc.)endows supercritical geofluid with unique physical properties including low density,low elastic moduli,low viscosity,high diffusivity,and high electrical *** geofluid can effectively mobilize a variety of elements even including high field strength elements and heavy rare earth *** chemical signatures of supercritical geofluid can be inherited by metasomatized mantle and mantle-derived melts,and this could give an explanation of the oxidation of arc *** separation of supercritical geofluid through the mechanism of spinodal decomposition leads to formation of a melt *** fluid inclusions recovered from subduction zone rocks and pegmatites are possible relics of supercritical *** geofluid can cause electrical anomaly and low seismic velocity near the top of subducted slab,and can be linked with intermediate-focus *** geofluid may have played a crucial role in the formation of pegmatites and associ

Sensitive visual detection of norfloxacin in water by smartphone assisted colorimetric method based on peroxidase-like active cobalt-doped Fe_(3)O_(4) nanozyme

Norfloxacin is widely used owing to its strong bactericidal effect on Gram-negative ***,the residual norfloxacin in the environment can be biomagnified via food chain andmay damage the human liver and delay the bone development *** work described a reliable and sensitive smartphone colorimetric sensing system based on cobaltdoped Fe_(3)O_(4) magnetic nanoparticles(Co-Fe_(3)O_(4) MNPs)for the visual detection of *** with Fe_(3)O_(4),Co-Fe_(3)O_(4) MNPs earned more remarkably peroxidase-like activity and TMB(colorless)was rapidly oxidized to oxTMB(blue)with the presence of H_(2)O_(2).Interestingly,the addition of low concentration of norfloxacin can accelerate the color reaction process of TMB,and blue deepening of the solution can be observed with the naked ***,after adding high concentration of norfloxacin,the activity of nanozymewas inhibited,resulting in the gradual fading of the *** on this principle,a colorimetric sensor integrated with smartphone RGB mode was *** visual sensor exhibited good linearity for norfloxacin monitoring in the range of 0.13-2.51μmol/L and 17.5-100μmol/*** limit of visual detectionwas 0.08μmol/*** the actualwater sample analysis,the spiked recoveries of norfloxacin were over the range of 95.7%-104.7%.These results demonstrated that the visual sensor was a convenient and fast method for the efficient and accurate detection of norfloxacin in water,which may have broad application prospect.

Beneficial effects of lacquer seed oil on bromocriptine-induced postpartum hypogalactia in rats

The high incidence of postpartum hypogalactia hinders the healthy development of postpartum women and the next *** seed oil(LSO),extracted from the seeds of the lacquer tree,has been traditionally used as a dietary supplement for promoting postpartum lactation and recovery in some districts of ***,its physiological effects have not been verified,and the mechanism and active components of LSO have not been ***,we applied LSO to bromocriptine-induced postpartum hypogalactia *** results showed that LSO supplement effectively improves bromocriptine-induced postpartum *** also increased prolactin levels reduced by bromocriptine,promoted JAK2/STAT5 and PI3K/AKT pathways and several gene expression levels of milk synthesis in mammary ***,metabolomic and network pharmacological analysis further revealed that JAK2/STAT5,PI3K/AKT,and estrogen signaling pathway are the potential main regulatory sites for the beneficial effects of LSO on postpartum hypogalactia,and that quercetin,kaempferol,arachidonic acid,epicatechin,and β-sitosterol are the top 5 main active ingredients of *** results suggested that LSO has great potential in the application of the improvement of postpartum hypogalactia.

Ischemic stroke(IS) is a prevalent neurological disorder often resulting in significant disability or mortality. Resveratrol, extracted from Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc.(commonly known as Japanese knotweed), has been recognized for its potent neuroprotective ***, the neuroprotective efficacy of its derivative,(E)-4-(3,5-dimethoxystyryl) quinoline(RV02), against ischemic stroke remains inadequately explored. This study aimed to evaluate the protective effects of RV02 on neuronal ischemia-reperfusion injury both in vitro and in vivo. The research utilized an animal model of middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion and SH-SY5Y cells subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation and reperfusion to simulate ischemic conditions. The findings demonstrate that RV02 attenuates neuronal mitochondrial damage and scavenges reactive oxygen species(ROS) through mitophagy activation. Furthermore, Parkin knockdown was found to abolish RV02's ability to activate mitophagy and neuroprotection in vitro. These results suggest that RV02 shows promise as a neuroprotective agent, with the activation of Parkin-mediated mitophagy potentially serving as the primary mechanism underlying its neuroprotective effects.
