The nuclear charge radius plays a vital role in determining the equation of state of isospin asymmetric nuclear *** on the correlation between the differences in charge radii of mirror-partner nuclei and the slope parameter(L)of symmetry energy at the nuclear saturation density,an analysis of the calibrated slope parameter L was performed in finite *** this study,relativistic and nonrelativistic energy density functionals were employed to constrain the nuclear symmetry energy through the available databases of the mirror-pair nuclei^(36)Ca–^(36)S,^(38)Ca–^(38)Ar,and ^(54)Ni–^(54)*** deduced nuclear symmetry energy was located in the range 29.89–31.85 MeV,and L of the symmetry energy essentially covered the range 22.50–51.55 MeV at the saturation ***,the extracted L_(s) at the sensitivity density p_(s)=0.10 fm^(-3) was located in the interval range 30.52–39.76 MeV.

Pronounced changes of nuclear charge radii provide a stringent benchmark on the theoretical models and play a vital role in recognizing various nuclear *** this work,the systematic evolutions of nuclear charge radii along even Z=84-120 isotopic chains are first investigated by the recently developed new ansatz under the covariant density *** calculated results show that the shell closure effects of nuclear charge radii appear remarkably at the neutron numbers N=126 and ***,the arch-like shapes of charge radii between these two strong neutron-closed shells are naturally *** the N=184 shell closure,the abrupt increase in charge radii is still evidently *** addition,the rapid raise of nuclear charge radii from the neutron numbers N=138 to N=144 is disclosed clearly in superheavy regions due to the enhanced shape deformation.

A correlation between the charge radii difference of mirror partner nucleiΔR_(ch) and the slope parameter L of symmetry energy has been built to ascertain the equation of state of isospin asymmetric nuclear *** this work,the influences of pairing correlations and isoscalar compression modulus on theΔRch are systematically investigated based on the Skyrme energy density functional *** calculated results suggest that the linear correlation betweenΔR_(ch) and L is decreased by the surface pairing *** slope parameter deduced from the difference of charge radii of mirror-pair nuclei ^(32)Ar-^(32)Si,^(36)Ca-^(36)S,^(38)Ca-^(38)Ar,and ^(54)Ni-^(54)Fe falls into the range of L=42.57−50.64 MeV,that is,the rather soft equation of state of asymmetric nuclear ***,the range of the slope parameter can also be influenced by the effective forces classified by various isoscalar incompressibility coefficients.

Systematic trends in nuclear charge radii are of great interest due to universal shell effects and odd-even staggering(OES).The modified root mean square(rms)charge radius formula,which phenomenologically accounts for the formation of neutron-proton(np)correlations,is here applied for the first time to the study of odd-Z copper and indium *** results obtained by the relativistic mean field(RMF)model with NL3,PK1 and NL3^(*)parameter sets are compared with experimental *** results show that both OES and the abrupt changes across N=50 and 82 shell closures are clearly reproduced in nuclear charge *** inverted parabolic-like behaviors of rms charge radii can also be described remarkably well between two neutron magic numbers,namely N=28 to 50 for copper isotopes and N=50 to 82 for indium *** implies that the np-correlations play an indispensable role in quantitatively determining the fine structures of nuclear charge radii along odd-Z isotopic ***,our conclusions have almost no dependence on the effective forces.

The isovector giant dipole resonances(IVGDR)in proton-rich Ar and Ca isotopes have been systematic-ally investigated using the resonant continuum Hartree-F ock+BCS(HF+BCS)and quasiparticle random phase ap-proximation(QRPA)*** Skyrme SLy5 and density-dependent contact pairing interactions are employed in the *** addition to the giant dipole resonances at energy around 18 MeV,pygmy dipole resonances(PDR)are found to be located in the energy region below 12 *** calculated energy-weighted moments of PDR in nuclei close to the proton drip-line exhaust about 4%of the TRK sum *** strengths decrease with in-creasing mass number in each isotopic *** transition densities of the PDR states show that motions of pro-tons and neutrons are in phase in the interiors of nuclei,while the protons give the main contribution at the *** analyzing the QRPA amplitudes of proton and neutron 2-quasiparticle configurations for a given low-lying state,we find that only a few proton configurations give significant *** contribute about 95%to the total QRPA amplitudes,which indicates that the collectivity of PDR states is not strong in proton-rich nuclei in the present study.

We examined the low-lying quadrupole states in Sn isotopes in the framework of fully self-consistent Hartree-Fock+BCS plus *** focus on the effect of the density-dependence of pairing interaction on the properties of the low-lying quadrupole *** SLy5 Skyrme interaction with surface,mixed,and volume pairings is employed in the calculations,*** find that the excitation energies and the corresponding reduced electric transition probabilities of the first 2^(+) state are different,given by the three pairing *** properties of the quasiparticle state,two-quasiparticle excitation energy,reduced transition amplitude,and transition densities in ^(112)Sn are analyzed in *** different mechanisms,the static and dynamical effects,of the pairing correlation are also *** results show that the surface,mixed,and volume pairings indeed affect the properties of the first 2^(+) state in the Sn isotopes.

β-decay half-lives of some magic and semi-magic nuclei have been studied in a fully self-consistent Skyrme Hartree-Fock(HF) plus charge-exchange random phase approximation(RPA).The self-consistency is addressed,in that the same Skyrme energy density functional is adopted in the calculation of ground states and Gamow-Teller excited ***,the impact of J2 terms on the β-decay half-lives is investigated by using the SGII interaction,revealing a large ***,numerical calculations are performed for the selected nuclei with Skyrme energy density functionals SGII,LNS,SKX,and ***,comparisons to available experimental data and predictions of different theoretical models are discussed.

The isoscalar giant monopole resonances（ISGMRs）of hypernucleiAA42Ca,AA（122）Sn,andAA（210）Pb are investigated using a fully self-consistent Skyrme-Hartree-Fock plus random phase approximation *** Skyrme-type forces,SGII,No.5 and SAAl,are adopted to describe the nucleon-nucleon,A hyperon-nucleon and A hyperon-A hyperon（AA）interactions,*** a given hyperon fraction,we find that effects of AA interaction on the properties of infinite symmetric nuclear matter and finite hypernuclei are very *** ISGMR strengths are shifted to the high energy region when two A are added into normal *** changes are from two parts,one is due to the mean field calculations,and the other is from the residual interaction associated with A *** constrained energies are increased by about 0.5-0.7MeV,which consequently enhances the effective incompressibility modulus of hypernuclei.

The charge exchange spin-dipole(SD) excitations of ^(90)Zr are studied using the Skyrme Hartee-Fock plus proton-neutron random phase approximation with SAMi-J *** experimental value of the model-independent sum rule obtained from the SD strength distributions of ^(90)Zr(p,n) ^(90)Nb and ^(90)Zr(n,p) ^(90)Y is used to deduce the neutron skin *** neutron skin thickness Δr_(np) of ^(90)Zr is extracted as 0.083±0.032 fm,which is similar to the results of other *** on the correlation analysis of the neutron skin thickness Δr_(np) and the nuclear symmetry energy J as well as its slope parameter L,a constraint from the extracted Δr_(np) leads to the limitation of J to 29.2±2.6 MeV and L to 53.3±28.2 MeV.
