A multi-channeled filter based on branchy defect in a microstrip photonic crystal was proposed. By introducing a branchy structure across the defect region, multiple defect modes will appear inside the photonic gap, leading to the multi-channeled filtering phenomenon. In comparison with the conventional multi-channeled filters, the proposed structure is more compact and tunable as far as the device volume and fabrication are concerned. The microwave experiment results are found in agreement with simulation results.

Two novel photochromic macrocycles 1 and 2 bearing dithienylethene units and urea building blocks have been synthesized, and their photochromic properties are described. Macrocycle 2 shows good photochromic properties, while the relatively smaller size of macrocycle 8h exhibits photochemically inactive properties due to the unfa- vourable ring conformational constraint. Moreover, the crystal structures of the urea-protected precursor macrocyles 3a, 3h, and 8b are presented.

Farnesoid X receptor(FXR)is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor and plays important roles in the regulation of metabolism and homeostasis of several important physiological substances,such as bile acids,glucose,and *** such,FXR has become a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of several metabolic diseases and liver ***,fargesone A(FA),a natural product from Magnolia fargesii was identified to be a novel,potent FXR agonist that demonstrated good in vitro and in vivo ***,the detailed interaction mechanism of FA with FXR remains *** this study,we employed multiple computational approaches including molecular docking,molecular dynamics simulation,and binding free energy calculation to address the *** comparisons of the structural dynamics and binding free energies,an optimal binding mode was identified,in which FA interacts with FXR via a direct hydrogen bond with His447 and hydrophobic interactions with multiple residues,such as Leu287,Met290,Met328,Ile352,and *** mutants,namely,H447F and L287N,were further constructed to validate the importance of the identified *** anticipate that these findings could be helpful for future rational design of new FA analogues targeting FXR.

Low-Reynolds-number effect is an important factor affecting the performance of compressors and other main components of high-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial *** improve the flow condition and reduce flow loss under the condition of high altitude and low Reynolds number(Re),this paper proposes an optimization process based on a surrogate model,which combines the class-shape transformation method(CST),the Latin hypercube sampling(LHS)method,the light gradient-boosting machine algorithm(lightGBM),and a genetic algorithm(GA)to optimize a high-subsonic compressor *** surrogate model is verified to be accurate and can be used in the optimization *** accuracy of the GA is higher than the other algorithms under common test *** optimization results are verified by numerical simulation,and the flow differences before and after optimization are compared,especially the flow within the boundary *** changing the blade shape,the optimization process adjusts the loading distribution to delay the transition of the optimized blade on the suction surface,which changes the turbulent reattachment in the laminar separation bubble(LSB)into laminar ***,the mixing loss induced by the turbulent reattachment of the LSB and the wake loss of turbulent separation at the trailing edge are significantly reduced,and the performance of the compressor profile is finally *** addition,turbulent separation of the optimized profile is delayed reducing the range of the wake region on the suction *** this optimization process,the reduction of total pressure loss coefficient at Re of 2.5×10^(5),3.5×10^(5),and 4.5×10^(5) are 16.32%,20.76%,and 22.16%,respectively.

The effect of Sm（0 wt.%-2 wt.%） addition on the corrosion behavior of Mg-6Al-1.2Y-0.9Nd alloy in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution has been studied by static corrosion tests,corrosion morphology observation,corrosion scale and microstructure *** results show that,with the increasing of Sm content,the corrosion rate of the alloy decreases at first,then increases and reaches the valley at 0.5 wt.% *** reason is that the proper content of Sm addition can refine the precipitates and make the component and microstructure uniform,and therefore,it remarkably improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy.

Based on molecular dynamics simulation results, a lauryl methacrylate polymer with drag reduction and shear resistance properties was designed, and synthesized by emulsion polymerization using 2-vinyl pyridine and methyl methacrylate as the polar polymerization monomer. After ionization of lauryl methacrylate polymer, an ion-dipole interaction based drag reduction agent （DRA） was obtained. The existence of ion-dipole interaction was proven through characterization of the drag-reducing agent from its infrared （IR） spectrum. The pilot-scale reaction yield of the DRA under optimum conditions was investigated, and the drag reduction and shear resistance properties were measured. The results show that： l） The ion-dipole or hydrogen bonding interaction can form ladder-shaped chains, therefore the synthesized DRA has shear resistance properties; 2） The larger the molecular weight （MW） and more concentrated the distribution of MW, the better the drag reduction efficiency and the performance of the ionomer system was superior to that of the hydrogen bonding system; 3） With increasing shear frequency, the drag-reduction rates of both the DRAs decreased, and the drag reduction rate of the ionomer system decreased more slowly than of the corresponding hydrogen bonding system. From the point of view of drag reduction rate and shear resistance property, the ionomer system is more promising than the hydrogen bonding system
