Nonreciprocity of thermal metamaterials has significant application prospects in isolation protection,unidirectional transmission,and energy ***,due to the inherent isotropic diffusion law of heat flow,it is extremely difficult to achieve nonreciprocity of heat *** review presents the recent developments in thermal nonreciprocity and explores the fundamental theories,which underpin the design of nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials,i.e.,the Onsager reciprocity ***,three methods for achieving nonreciprocal metamaterials in the thermal field are elucidated,namely,nonlinearity,spatiotemporal modulation,and angular momentum bias,and the applications of nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials are *** also discuss nonreciprocal thermal ***,the potential applications of nonreciprocity to other Laplacian physical fields are ***,the prospects for advancing nonreciprocal thermal metamaterials are highlighted,including developments in device design and manufacturing techniques and machine learning-assisted material design.

Energy-absorbing materials are widely used in transportations,sports,and the military ***,porous materials,including natural and artificial materials,have attracted tremendous attentions due to their light weight and excellent energy absorption *** review summarizes the recent progresses in the natural and artificial energy-absorbing porous ***,we review the typical natural porous materials including cuttlebone,bighorn sheep horn,pomelo peel,and sunflower stem *** architectures,energy absorption abilities,and mechanisms of these typical natural materials and their bioinspired materials are ***,we provide a review on the fabrication methods of artificial energy-absorbing porous materials,such as conventional foaming and three-dimensional(3D)***,we address the challenges and prospects for the future development of energy-absorbing porous *** importantly,our review provides a direct guidance for the design and fabrication of energy-absorbing porous materials required for various engineering applications.

The precise and automatic segmentation of prostate magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)images is vital for assisting doctors in diagnosing prostate *** recent years,many advanced methods have been applied to prostate segmentation,but due to the variability caused by prostate diseases,automatic segmentation of the prostate presents significant *** this paper,we propose an attention-guided multi-scale feature fusion network(AGMSF-Net)to segment prostate MRI *** propose an attention mechanism for extracting multi-scale features,and introduce a 3D transformer module to enhance global feature representation by adding it during the transition phase from encoder to *** the decoder stage,a feature fusion module is proposed to obtain global context *** evaluate our model on MRI images of the prostate acquired from a local *** relative volume difference(RVD)and dice similarity coefficient(DSC)between the results of automatic prostate segmentation and ground truth were 1.21%and 93.68%,*** quantitatively evaluate prostate volume on MRI,which is of significant clinical significance,we propose a unique *** essential performance evaluation and validation experiments have demonstrated the effectiveness of our method in automatic prostate segmentation.

The combination of donor-acceptor(D-A)structures presents a viable strategy for fabricating covalent organic frameworks(COFs)with exceptional photocatalytic ***,the selection of functional groups on donor or acceptor building blocks and their effect on the macroscopic properties of COFs are *** this study,we tactfully synthesized a pair of Py-DBT-COFs from the same pyrene(Py)donor and 4,7-diphenylbenzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole(DBT)acceptor cores with distinct primitive functional *** primitive functional groups of building units determine the photocatalytic properties of corresponding ***,Py-C-DBT-COF synthesized from Py-4CHO and DBT-2NH_(2)showcases a splendid H_(2)evolution rate as high as 21,377.7μmol/(g·h)(with 5 wt.%Pt)originating from better charge transfer capacity,which is significantly superior to that of Py-N-DBT-COF constructed from Py-4NH_(2)and *** distinct photocatalytic performances of the two COFs are demonstrated to originate from the different charge separation and transfer *** work supplies a new avenue for optimizing the photocatalytic performance of D-A COFs from the perspective of primitive functional group selections.

Suppression of uncontrollable dendrite growth and water-induced side reactions of Zn metal anodes is crucial for achieving long-lasting cycling stability and facilitating the practical implementations of aqueous Zn-metal *** address these challenges,we report in this study a functional nitro-cellulose interfacial layer(NCIL)on the surface of Zn anodes enlightened by a nitro-coordination chemistry *** NCIL exhibits strong zincophilicity and superior coordination capability with Zn^(2+)due to the highly electronegative and highly nucleophilic nature of the nitro functional *** characteristic facilitates a rapid Zn-ion desolvation process and homogeneous Zn plating,effectively preventing H_(2) evolution and dendrite ***,the negatively charged surface of NCIL acts as a shield,repelling SO_(4)^(2-)anions and inhibiting corrosive reactions on the Zn ***,reversible and stable Zn plating/stripping is achieved for over 5100 h at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2),which is nearly 30 times longer than that of bare Zn ***,the Zn/V_(2)O_(5) full cells with the functional interface layer deliver a high-capacity retention of 80.3%for over 10,000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1).This research offers valuable insights for the rational development of advanced protective interface layers in order to achieve ultra-long-lifeZnmetal batteries.

Addressing the challenges posed by the nonlinear and non-stationary vibrations in rotating machinery,where weak fault characteristic signals hinder accurate fault state representation,we propose a novel feature extraction method that combines the Flexible Analytic Wavelet Transform(FAWT)with Nonlinear Quantum Permutation ***,leveraging fractional orders and arbitrary scaling and translation factors,exhibits superior translational invariance and adjustable fundamental oscillatory *** flexibility enables FAWT to provide well-suited wavelet shapes,effectively matching subtle fault components and avoiding performance degradation associated with fixed frequency partitioning and low-oscillation bases in detecting weak *** our approach,gearbox vibration signals undergo FAWT to obtain *** theory is then introduced into permutation entropy to propose Nonlinear Quantum Permutation Entropy,a feature that more accurately characterizes the operational state of vibration simulation *** nonlinear quantum permutation entropy extracted from sub-bands is utilized to characterize the operating state of rotating machinery.A comprehensive analysis of vibration signals from rolling bearings and gearboxes validates the feasibility of the proposed *** assessments with parameters derived from traditional permutation entropy,sample entropy,wavelet transform(WT),and empirical mode decomposition(EMD)underscore the superior effectiveness of this approach in fault detection and classification for rotating machinery.

In this study,a stepwise oxidation system of potassium ferrate(K_(2)FeO_(4))combined with ozone(O+3)was used to degrade ciprofloxacin(CIP).The effects of pH and pre-oxidation time of K_(2)FeO_(4) on the evolution of K_(2)FeO_(4) reduction products(iron(hydr)oxides)and CIP degradation were *** was found that in addition to its own oxidation capacity,K_(2)FeO_(4) can also influence the treatment effect of CIP by changing the catalyst *** presence of iron(hydr)oxides effectively enhanced the mineralization rate of CIP by catalyzing *** pH value can influence the content and types of the components with catalytic ozonation effect in iron(hydr)*** K_(2)FeO_(4) pre-oxidation stage can produce more iron(hydr)oxides with catalytic components for subsequent ozonation,but the evolution of iron(hydr)oxides components was influenced by O_(3) *** can also avoid the waste of oxidation capacity owing to the oxidation of iron(hydr)oxides by O_(3) and free *** intermediate degradation products were identified by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(FT-ICR-MS).Besides,the degradation pathways were *** the degradation products of CIP,the product with broken quinolone ring structure only appeared in the stepwise oxidation system.
