Ablotlc stress, such as salt, drought and extreme temperature, can result in enhanced production of reactive oxygen species （ROS）. Plants have developed both enzymatic ROS-scavenging and non-enzymatic ROS-scavenging systems. The major ROS-scavenging enzymes of plants include superoxide dismutase （SOD）, ascorbate peroxldaae （APX）, catalaae （CAT）, glutathione peroxldaae （GPX） and peroxiredoxina （Prxa）. In the present work, we identified a gene encoding chloroplast-located peroxiredoxin Q, SsPrxQ, from Suaeda salsa L. located at chloroplast. Overexpression of SsPrxQ In Arabidopsis leads to an increase In salt and low-temperature tolerance.

We investigate high time resolution data obtained by the Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)during the flare event on 2022 April 21 at 01:52 *** subpeaks with durations of 4-6 s have been detected in the hard X-ray precursor phase,and the key feature is that they appear in pairs and seem like double-peak *** subpeaks are rarely observed in hard X-ray band and confirmed by the microwave obtained by Nobeyama Radio Polarimeters(NoRP)and Radio Solar Telescope Network(RSTN).While an exponential function can describe the continuum component of the time profile from the precursor to part of the impulsive *** periods of quasi-periodic pulsations(QPPs)are detected to be about 7.3 and 12.8 s for the precursor and impulsive phase,respectively,with at least 95%confidence *** paired QPPs are assumed to be double-peak QPPs and then the scenario of current loop coalescence model is found to be in good agreement with our *** precursor phase can be interpreted as the oscillating coalescence of two islands,while the impulsive phase can be interpreted as more islands to coalesce one by one to form larger islands.

Achieving low friction and wear of poly(phenylene sulfide)(PPS) without using fillers or blending is a challenging task, but one of considerable practical importance. Here we describe how neat PPS with high tribological performance is achieved by manipulating processing parameters(pressure, flow and temperature). The key to achieving high tribological performance is comparatively high molecular chain orientation, realized in neat PPS, at high shear rates and low pressure. The friction coefficient and wear rate are as low as ~0.3 and~10^(-6) mm^(3)·N^(-1)·m^(-1), respectively, which break the record for neat PPS. These values are even better than those for PPS-based blends and comparable to PPS composites. Further studies show, for the first time, that wear rate decreases exponentially with increasing molecular chain orientation, prompting us to revise the classical Archard's law by including the effect of molecular chain orientation. These findings open the possibility of using neat PPS in highly demanding tribological applications.

Fruit firmness is an important quality trait of apple fruit texture,and the pre-harvest ripening period is the key period for the formation of apple fruit *** is a cell wall loosing protein family that has four subfamilies:α-expansin(EXPA),β-expansin(EXPB),expansin-like A(EXLA),and expansin-like B(EXLB).In this study,we investigated the key period of pre-harvest texture formation in‘Golden Delicious’apples based on fruit longitudinal diameter,transverse diameter,firmness,tissue structure,respiration intensity,ethylene release rate,and expansin *** the 10 days before harvest,the fruit was found to reach ***-quantitative RT-PCR revealed that most of the expansins were expressed at the ripening stage before *** biological function of the EXLB subfamily gene,MdEXLB1,was further identified,and its subcellular localization on the cell wall was confirmed by transient transformation *** with the wild type(WT),the transgenic tomato lines overexpressing MdEXLB1 had lower plant height,earlier fruiting period,fewer days for fruit ripening,higher fruit maturity,lower fruit firmness,higher fruit expansin activity,more discrete flesh cell structure,and accelerated fruit ripening ***,this is the first study to propose that the apple EXLB subfamily gene,MdEXLB1,has biological functions and plays an important role in promoting fruit ripening and softening.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13tandem accelerator at the China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3D magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3 T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3)N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3D as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.125×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3×10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the data were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

Urinary stone is conceptualized as a chronic metabolic disorder punctuated by symptomatic stone *** has been shown that the occurrence of calcium oxalate monohydrate(COM)during stone formation is regulated by crystal growth *** crystallization inhibitors have been recognized as a therapeutic modality for decades,limited progress has been made in the discovery of effective modifiers to intervene with stone *** this study,we have used metabolomics technologies,a powerful approach to identify biomarkers by screening the urine components of the dynamic progression in a bladder stone *** in-depth mining and analysis of metabolomics data,we have screened five differential *** density functional theory studies and bulk crystallization,we found that three of them(salicyluric,gentisic acid and succinate)could effectively inhibit nucleation in *** thereby assessed the impact of the inhibitors with an EG-induced rat model for kidney ***,succinate,a key player in the tricarboxylic acid cycle,could decrease kidney calcium deposition and injury in the *** analysis further showed that the protective effect of succinate was mainly through anti-inflammation,inhibition of cell adhesion and osteogenic *** findings indicated that succinate may provide a new therapeutic option for urinary stones.

BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori(***)infection is a prevalent disease encountered in military internal medicine and recognized as the main cause of dyspepsia,gastritis,and peptic ulcer,which are common diseases in military *** guidelines in China state all patients with evidence of active infection with *** are offered ***,the prevalence of *** infection and its regional distribution in the military population remain unclear,which hinders effective prevention and treatment *** the prevalence of *** infection in the military population will aid in the development of customized strategies to better manage this infectious *** To investigate the prevalence of *** infection in the Chinese military population in different geographic *** This multicenter,retrospective study included 22421 individuals from five tertiary hospitals located in north,east,southwest,and northwest cities of *** infection was identified using the urea breath test,which had been performed between January 2020 and December *** Of the 22421 military service members,7416(33.1%)were urea breath *** highest prevalence of *** was in the 30-39 years age group for military personnel,with an infection rate of 34.9%.The majority of infected subjects were younger than 40-years-old,accounting for 70.4%of the infected *** individuals serviced in Lanzhou and chengdu showed a higher infection prevalence than those in Beijing,Nanjing,and Guangzhou,with prevalence rates of 44.3%,37.9%,29.0%,31.1%,and 32.3%,*** *** infection remains a common infectious disease among military personnel in China and has a relatively high prevalence rate in northwest China.

Interleukin-37b(hereafter called IL-37)was identified as fundamental inhibitor of natural and acquired *** molecular mechanism and function of IL-37 in colorectal cancer(CRC)has been ***,we found that IL-37 transgenic(IL-37tg)mice were highly susceptible to colitis-associated colorectal cancer(CAC)and suffered from dramatically increased tumor burdens in ***,IL-37 is dispensable for intestinal mutagenesis,and CRC cell proliferation,apoptosis,and ***,IL-37 dampened protective cytotoxic T cell-mediated immunity in CAC and B16-OVA ***8^(+)T cell dysfunction is defined by reduced retention and activation as well as failure to proliferate and produce cytotoxic cytokines in IL-37tg mice,enabling tumor evasion of immune *** dysfunction led by IL-37 antagonizes IL-18–induced proliferation and effector function of CD8+T cells,which was dependent on SIGIRR(single immunoglobulin interleukin-1 receptor-related protein).Finally,we observed that IL-37 levels were significantly increased in CRC patients,and positively correlated with serum CRC biomarker CEA levels,but negatively correlated with the CD8+T cell infiltration in CRC *** findings highlight the role of IL-37 in harnessing antitumor immunity by inactivation of cytotoxic T cells and establish a new defined inhibitory factor IL-37/SIGIRR in cancerimmunity cycle as therapeutic targets in CRC.

Objective Clinical characteristics and outcome in COVID-19 with brucellosis patients has not been well demonstrated,we tried to analyze clinical outcome in local and literature COVID-19 cases with brucellosis before and after *** We retrospectively collected hospitalization data of comorbid patients and prospectively followed up after discharge in Heilongjiang Infectious Disease Hospital from January 15,2020 to April29,***,epidemiological,clinical symptoms,radiological and laboratory data,treatment medicines and outcomes,and follow up were analyzed,and findings of a systematic review were *** A total of four COVID-19 with brucellosis patients were *** patient had active brucellosis before covid and 3 patients had nonactive brucellosis before *** median age was54.5 years,and all were males(100.0%).Two cases(50.0%)were moderate,and one was mild and asymptomatic,*** cases(75.0%)had at least one comorbidity(brucellosis excluded).All4 patients were found in COVID-19 nucleic acid *** C and D had only headache and fever on admission,*** cases were treated with Traditional Chinese medicine,western medicines for three cases,no adverse reaction occurred during *** patients were cured and ***,one case(25.0%)had still active brucellosis without re-positive COVID-19,and other three cases(75.0%)have no symptoms of discomfort except one case fell fatigue and anxious during the follow-up period after *** the literature review,two similar cases have been reported in two case reports,and were both recovered,whereas,no data of follow up after *** These cases indicate that COVID-19 patients with brucellosis had favorable outcome before and after *** clinical studies should be conducted to confirm our findings.
