Analysis of sensitivity to hydrate blockage risk in natural gas gathering pipeline

Effects of Standoff Distance on Magnetic Pulse Welded Joints Between Aluminum and Steel Elements in Automobile Body

In industrial production,the standoff distance of magnetic pulse welding(MPW)is a critical parameter as it directly affects welding ***,the effects of standoff distance on the physical properties of MPW joints have not been ***,in this study,aluminum alloy(AA5182)sheets and high-strength low-alloy steel(HC340LA)sheets were welded through MPW at a discharge energy of 20 kJ,under various standoff ***,mechanical tests were performed on the MPW joints,and the results indicate that there is a significant change in the shear strength of the AA5182/HC340LA-welded joints with respect to the standoff *** the standoff distance ranges from 0.8 to 1.4 mm,the strength of the joint is higher than that of the base AA5182 *** observations were conducted to analyze the interfacial morphology,element diffusion behavior,and microdefects on the welding interface of the AA5182/HC340LA *** AA5182/HC340LA joint with a standoff distance of 1.4 mm possesses the longest welded region and the largest interfacial *** interfacial wave pattern is suitable for achieving MPW joints with high shear strengths.

ON AN EFFICIENT IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FACE ALGORITHM FOR liNEAR PROGRAMMING＊

In this paper, we consider the solution of the standard linear programming [Lt＇）. A remarkable result in LP claims that all optimal solutions form an optimal face of the underlying polyhedron. In practice, many real-world problems have infinitely many optimal solutions and pursuing the optimal face, not just an optimal vertex, is quite desirable. The face algorithm proposed by Pan [19] targets at the optimal face by iterating from face to face, along an orthogonal projection of the negative objective gradient onto a relevant null space. The algorithm exhibits a favorable numerical performance by comparing the simplex method. In this paper, we further investigate the face algorithm by proposing an improved implementation. In exact arithmetic computation, the new algorithm generates the same sequence as Pan＇s face algorithm, but uses less computational costs per iteration, and enjoys favorable properties for sparse problems.

Collisional Quantum Interference on Rotational Energy Transfer： Relation Between Integral Interference Angle and Rotational Quantum Number in Na2（A^1∑u^＋,ν=8～b^3∏0u,ν=14）-Na System

Collisional quantum interference （CQI） on rotational energy transfer was observed in Na2（A^1∑u^＋,ν=8～b^3∏0u,ν=14） system in collision with Na [Chem. Phys. Lett. 318 （2000） 107], and the degree of the interference was measured. The integral interference angle was obtaJned through theoretical calculation. We will research the factors that have effect on collisional quantum interference on rotational energy transfer in Na2（A^1∑u^＋,ν=8～b^3∏0u,ν=14）-Na system. Basing on the time-dependent first order Born approximation, and taking into account the anlsotroplc Lennard Jones interaction potentials and ＂straight-line＂ trajectory approximation, we obtain the factors that have effect on CQI in Na2-Na system, and obtain the relation between the integral interference angle and rotational quantum number.

Assessment of Genetic Relationship of Foxtail Millet with Its Wild Ancestor and Close Relatives by ISSR Markers

Inter simple sequence repeat（ISSR） analysis was applied to samples of foxtail millet and its wild ancestor and other close relatives of the genus Setaria in order to detect domestication-related geographical structure and phylogenetic relationship of those ***-one accessions of nine Setaria species that originated from different regions were used in this *** out of the 27 ISSR primers screened amplified successfully and a total of 156 markers were scored for all the accessions,with a high level of polymorphism being *** dendrogram based on UPGMA cluster analysis showed clear geographic structure among foxtail millet and its wild ancestor green foxtail,which implies that northern China is the domestication center for both the Chinese and European foxtail millet landraces used in this *** result did not support the hypothesis that China and Europe are independent domestication centers for foxtail millet proposed by several previous studies based on morphological and isozyme *** dendrogram also clearly classified the Setaria sample used into two groups,a viridis and a pumila *** viridis group was composed of ***,***,***,***,***,and ***,and the pumila group consisted of *** and ***,which is consistent with the recently proposed hypothesis of multiple origin of Setaria *** phylogenetic relationships among different species are discussed.

One of the challenges for catalytic CO_(2)reduction is to control product selectivity,and new findings that can modify selectivity would be ***,two kinds of TiO_(2)(homemade and commercial)with the same crystal phase but different surface properties are chosen as supports to prepare Ni-based catalysts for CO_(2)reduction,which show distinctly different product selectivity for CO_(2)reduction to CH_(4) or CO,as well as the CO_(2)*** catalysts based on the homemade TiO_(2)support are highly selective for CH_(4) formation,while the latter ones are about 100%selective for CO formation under the same reaction *** addition,the former ones are much active(more than 3 times)than the latter *** found that the collaborative contribution of Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and the electronic metal-support interactions effect maybe the main driving force behind for determining the product *** is almost exclusively produced over the catalysts with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and greater electronic metal-support interaction,otherwise,it will give priority to CO *** addition of CeO_(2)can reduce the Ni particle size and improve the dispersion of Ni nanoparticles,as well as create more Ti^(3+)species,contributing to the enhancement of CO_(2)conversion,but shows a negligible effect on product ***,the in situ DRIFT experiments and kinetic experiments indicate that the CO route is probably involved in the CO_(2)reduction process over the homemade Ni-CeO_(2)/TiO_(2)-CO catalyst with abundant Ti^(3+)and Ni^(2+)species and a strong electronic transform effect.

Satellite remote sensing of ultraviolet irradiance on the ocean surface

Ultraviolet （UV） radiation has a significant influence on marine biological processes and primary productivity; however, the existing ocean color satellite sensors seldom contain UV bands. A look-up table of wavelength- integrated UV irradiance （280-400 nm） on the sea surface is established using the coupled ocean atmosphere radiative transfer （COART） model. On the basis of the look-up table, the distributions of the UV irradiance at middle and low latitudes are inversed by using the satellite-derived atmospheric products from the Aqua satellite, including aerosol optical thickness at 550 nm, ozone content, liquid water path, and the total precipitable water. The validation results show that the mean relative difference of the 10 d rolling averaged UV irradiance between the satellite retrieval and field observations is 8.20% at the time of satellite passing and 13.95% for the daily dose of UV. The monthly-averaged UV irradiance and daily dose of UV retrieved by satellite data show a good correlation with the in situ data, with mean relative differences of 6.87% and 8.43%, respectively. The sensitivity analysis of satellite inputs is conducted. The liquid water path representing the condition of cloud has the highest effect on the retrieval of the UV irradiance, while ozone and aerosol have relatively lesser effect. The influence of the total precipitable water is not significant. On the basis of the satellite-derived UV irradiance on the sea surface, a preliminary simple estimation of ultraviolet radiation＇s effects on the global marine primary productivity is presented, and the results reveal that ultraviolet radiation has a non-negligible effect on the estimation of the marine primary productivity.

Effect of growth hormone-releasing peptide on cardiac cholinergic nerve fiber density distribution in a rat model of heart failure

BACKGROUND： Changes in the cardiac autonomic nerve are considered to be important factors in the mechanisms of heart failure. It is possible to reduce or slow down nerve degeneration and necrosis, provided that patients take effective neuroprotectants during the early stages of heart failure. Moreover, it is possible to relieve the pathological process and reduce the risk of death. OBJECTIVE： To study the effect of growth hormone releasing peptide （GHRP） on cardiac cholinergic nerve fiber density distribution in a rat model of heart failure, and verify whether GHRP can ameliorate denervation. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： A randomized controlled study was performed at the Key Laboratory of Anatomy, Harbin Medical University, between June and October 2009. MATERIALS： Fifty adult, healthy, female, Wistar rats, weighing （200± 20） g, were randomly divided into GHRP （n = 30）, model （n = 10）, and sham operation （n = 10） groups. GHRP-2 was made in Shanghai, China （batch No. z071212-03）. METHODS： Acute myocardial infarction was established by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery in the GHRP and model groups. Five weeks later, myocardial function was detected using color ultrasound electrocardiograph a successful marker of chronic heart failure models Ejection fraction 〈 60% was considered to be However, the left anterior descending coronary artery was not ligated in the sham operation group. The GHRP group was injected with 100 μ g/kg GHRP-2, and the other two groups were injected with the same volume of physiological saline, once per day. Antifungal,Insecticidal and Herbicidal Properties of Volatile Components from Paenibacillus polymyxa Strain BMP-11

The volatiles produced by Paenibacillus polymyxa strain BMP-11 which was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of cucumber in a greenhouse were analyzed by *** on the preliminary test,three kinds of purchased commercial products 1-octen-3-ol,benzothiazole and citronellol were chosen to give further assessment of their *** bioassays in sealed dishes revealed that those three compounds strongly inhibited the mycelia growth of the eight pathogens at a low treatment dosage and induced the mycelial morphological *** the experiment,we even found that citronellol completely prevented the pigment production of the tested fungus,Fusarium oxysporum,however,1-octen-3-ol and benzothiazole had slight *** germination was inhibited to different degrees when spores of Botrytis cinerea exposed to these compounds for 24 h in water agar ***,fumigation results showed that 1-octen-3-ol and benzothiazole had strong toxicity against Tribolium castaneum,LC50 was 16.76 and 3.50 mg L-1,*** fumigation activity was also found similar to the positive control,1,3-dichloropropene （LC50 =10.13 mg L-1）.Results of herbicidal assays showed that tested compounds had inhibitory effects on the seed germination and seedling growth of Amaranthus retroflexus,Echinochloa crusgalli and Chenopodium *** of the present study suggested that the antifungal,insecticidal and herbicidal properties of the components were contained in *** agents or even their derivatives may have a potential to be used as fungicide,insecticide as well as herbicide.
