The electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))by the two-electron oxygen reduction(2e^(-)ORR)process has the advantages of high safety,low energy consumption,and environmental *** 2e^(-)ORR,the catalyst/electrode is the key component as it strongly affects catalytic performance and *** materials have the advantages of high electronic conductivity,good structural stability,easy control of nanostructures,and low ***,it has been regarded as a promising catalyst/electrode material for the electrosynthesis of H_(2)O_(2)via 2e^(-)*** addition,studies have also considered the optimization of the liquid/gas interface by tuning the electrode surface,electrolyte pH,and reactor configurations for further improving the activity and selectivity of *** this review,we provide an in-depth discussion of the recent research on the carbon-based electrocatalysts for 2e^(-)ORR,especially in terms of microenvironment tuning,catalyst/electrode interface engineering,and reactor design for achieving stable and efficient production of H_(2)O_(2).The challenges that we are still facing and the future development prospects will then be concluded,which we believe should help the future development in this field.

With the shortage of lithium resources,sodiumion batteries(SIBs)are considered one of the most promising candidates for lithium-ion batteries.P2-type and O3-type layered oxides are one of the few cathodes that can access high energy ***,they usually exhibit structural change,capacity decay,and slow Na ion ***,we present layered ternary-phase cathodes with P2,P3 and O3 phases by a lattice doping strategy,which is demonstrated by X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** the characteristics of P2,P3 and O3 phases,the layered composites show performance improvement during long-term battery *** particular,Na_(0.7)li_(0.1)Co_(0.3-)Fe_(0.3)Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NLCFM)delivers a reversible capacity of120.1 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1C(1.0C=175 mA·g^(-1))with a superior capacity retention of 72.5%after 1000 cycles *** work offers insights into the development of advanced cathode materials for SIBs.

Background:Pregnancy in women with pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH)is a fatal condition,despite the effectiveness of PAH-specific *** coverage status and effect of specific therapies in pregnant patients with PAH without cardiac shunts in China remain *** investigate this issue,we conducted a multicenter retrospective study in northern ***:The study included 85 patients who were admitted to 4 clinical centers in Shandong Province between October 2010 and August *** endpoint events included(1)maternal death and/or(2)major adverse cardiac events,both occurring during pregnancy or within 6 weeks ***:Although the overall mortality rate was encouraging(11.8%),the number of patients receiving PAH-specific therapies was extremely low(28.2%).Moreover,only 15.3%of patients received adequate duration of PAH-specific therapy(≥4 weeks)before delivery,and this subgroup showed the lowest major adverse cardiac events rate(7.7%)compared with that in the untreated(19.7%)and short-time treated groups(lity ***-term PAH-specific therapy does not guarantee favorable maternal *** screening,early identification,and timely intervention are expected to improve maternal outcomes in pregnant women with PAH.

Eutrophication caused by inputs of excess nitrogen(N) has become a serious environmental problem in Hangzhou Bay(China),but the sources of this nitrogen are not well *** this study,the August 2019 distributions of salinity,nutrients [nitrate(NO_(3)^(-)),nitrite,ammonium,and phosphate],and the stable isotopic composition of NO_(3)^(-)(δ^(15)N and δ^(18)O) were used to investigate sources of dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) to Hangzhou B *** distributions of nitrate,salinity,and nitrate δ^(18)O indicate that the Qiantang River,the Changjiang River,and nearshore coastal waters may all contribute nitrate to the *** on the isotopic compositions of nitrate in these potential source waters and conservative mixing of nitrate in our study area,we suggest that the NO_(3)^(- )in Hangzhou B ay was likely derived mainly from soils,synthetic N fertilizer,and manure and ***-member modeling indicates that in the upper half of the bay,the Qiantang River was a very important DIN source,possibly contributing more than 50% of DIN in the bay head *** the lower half of the bay,DIN was sourced mainly from strongly intruding coastal *** coming directly from the Changjiang River made a relatively small contribution to Hangzhou Bay DIN in August 2019.

To study the influence of an elbow inlet on the rotating stall characteristics of a waterjet propulsion pump(WJPP),a three-dimensional internal flow field in a WJPP under a straight-pipe inlet and elbow inlet is numerically *** comparing the hydraulic performance of WJPP under the two inlet conditions,the internal relationship between the inlet mode and the flow pattern in the pump is *** on unsteady pressure fluctuation characteristics and wavelet analysis,the influence of the inlet mode on the rotating stall is revealed,and the stall transient propagation characteristics under critical stall conditions are *** disturbance effects of the inlet channel geometry disappear under low flow rate conditions,the main disturbance is induced by the highspeed countercurrent,and the flow pattern under the elbow inlet is better than that under the straight-pipe *** the straight-pipe inlet,the single-stall nucleus in the WJPP temporarily experiences a low-frequency and high-amplitude disturbance,which subsequently transforms into a mode of multi-stall nuclei with high-frequency circumferential *** the elbow inlet,the rotating stall always maintains a mode of high-amplitude and low-frequency disturbance,which represents the transient characteristics of a single stall core propagating in the circumferential direction inside the *** results of this study have a reference value for structural design optimization in a WJPP.

An innovative complex lidar system deployed on an airborne rotorcraft platform for remote sensing of atmospheric pollution is proposed and *** system incorporates integrated-path differential absorption lidar(DIAL) and coherent-doppler lidar(CDL) techniques using a dual tunable TEA CO_(2)laser in the 9—11 μm band and a 1.55 μm fiber *** combining the principles of differential absorption detection and pulsed coherent detection,the system enables agile and remote sensing of atmospheric *** static tests validate the system’s real-time detection capabilities,including the measurement of concentration-path-length product(CL),front distance,and path wind speed of air pollution plumes over long distances exceeding 4 *** experiments is conducted with the *** of the pollutant concentration and the wind field is carried out in an approximately 1 km slant range over scanning angle ranges from 45°to 65°,with a radial resolution of 30 m and10 *** test results demonstrate the system’s ability to spatially map atmospheric pollution plumes and predict their motion and dispersion patterns,thereby ensuring the protection of public safety.

Background This retrospective study assessed the efficacy and safety of ketogenic diet therapies in children with epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 genetic mutations and glucose transporter type 1 deficiency *** Pediatric patients with epilepsy symptoms admitted to our medical center between January 2017 and October 2021 were included if they presented with an SLC2A1 genetic mutation on whole-exome *** analyzed the patients’convulsions and treatment with antiepileptic *** patients were followed up at different time periods after ketogenic diet *** Six patients with SLC2A1 mutations were included in this *** patients had seizures of different types and frequencies,and they took antiepileptic drugs to relieve their *** were then treated with a ketogenic diet for at least four *** analyzed epilepsy control rates at 1,2,3,6,and 12 months after ketogenic diet *** patients were seizure-free within a month of receiving the diet *** patients were followed up for six months,three were followed up for 12 months after the treatment,and there was no recurrence of epilepsy during this *** antiepileptic drug withdrawal,none of the patients experienced seizure relapse when receiving ketogenic diet treatment *** severe adverse events occurred during the *** Ketogenic diet therapy is very effective and safe for the treatment of epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 ***,patients with glucose transporter type 1 deficiency syndrome caused by SLC2A1 mutations should begin ketogenic diet treatment as soon as possible.

Based on the in-situ self-reduction and chemical stability,graphdiyne(GDY)and graphdiyne oxide(GDYO)are used as trapping agents to investigate the ability for recovering Au^(3+),Ag^+,and Pd^(2+)under different pH values and interfering *** strong acidity at pH=1,these two agents demonstrate high select recovery towards the three precious metal ions,which could be insitu reduced to nanoparticles(NPs).In addition,superparamagnetic Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs are deposited on the surfaces of GDY and *** magnetic responses enable GDYFe_(3)O_(4)to recover precious metals conveniently and efficiently by the aid of an external magnetic *** study also confirms the antibacterial activity of the as-recovered NPs deposited on GDY and GDYO against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus(1×10^(5)colony-forming unit(CFU)·mL^(-1)),and the antibacterial rates are 100%.This strategy of recovering precious metals and subsequently reusing to combat pathogens will be of great significance for environmental remediation and biomedical applications.
